The strawberry soft serve was rotten. It tasted sour and smelt even worse. What a waste of $8.

So happy to have stumbled across Frozen Cow while looking for some post beach treats. Along with…read moreclassic flavors like pistachio, chocolate brownie, and rum raisin, there's also a lot of fun/unique flavors like lavender honey, oatmeal cookie, and cereal milk. There's also seasonal looking ones like street corn and chocolate chipotle. The options here are plenty! The quality of the ice cream is rich and well balanced. It's close to the quality and flavor of the infamous Salt & Straw in the city. While creamy, the flavors were bold and the texture of each serving we tried were smooth and rich. The chocolate mocha coffee toffee was my favorite on this trip, followed by the oatmeal cookie with its chunks of soft cookie and delightful hints of cinnamon. The Cookie Monster tasted like a frozen cookie and milk treat, though out of the 4 flavors we had it was the most subtle. Still a tasty treat nonetheless. The German chocolate cake was rich in chocolate and the bites of walnut and coconut were perfectly sized. I would definitely add some brownie toppings to it next time for some fun cake texture. All in all, this is a great place to stop by for some ice cream. The staff is super nice and the place looks well kept. A real good find indeed!

While attentive, and nice, she just didn't grasp questions on what has been a usual order here. All this as her girlfriend looked on wiping down the glass cases. I could only assume it was her girlfriend the way they kissed. Odd.

H: relief on a HOT HOT DAY S: the STELLAR flavor, cherry.. love the maraschino cherry bits mixed in "Ralph's Famous Italian Ices, a family-owned business, was founded in 1928 by Italian immigrant Ralph Silvestro on Staten Island. He initially sold his Italian ices from a truck, eventually opening his first retail location in 1949 on Port Richmond Ave. The business expanded under the leadership of Ralph's daughters, Lucile and Elise, who took over in 1966 and introduced new flavors. Today, Ralph's has expanded to over 79 locations across New York City, Long Island, and New Jersey, continuing a legacy of delicious Italian ices and other treats. I honestly don't recall ever ordering anything else because this is always so perfect! It even has small chunks of mango in it which I love. Most of these locations are worked by high schoolers/ college kids on summer break so all the previous reviews about bad service aren't exactly surprising. I always a great experience when I visit any location so can't complain. Love Ralph's!

I followed the bat signal and went in to check out the wide selection of cookies and ice cream. Service was excellent. The 2 girls working there were super friendly, patient, and helpful with us. My friend and I took our time and carefully chose which cookie flavor to get... There are a few 2-seater tables as well as a counter by the front window. I look forward to coming back and hope the Dippin Dots will stay on the menu!

But guess what! I was blown away by the quality of the cookies here I have not yet tried the ice cream. I have been here three times. I have gotten nine cookies. during the week between I believe 11 AM and 4 PM. you can get three cookies for the price of two. I have taken advantage of this. the first time I got the oatmeal, the Biscoff and maybe the birthday cake? The second time, I went with chocolate cookies and maybe a peanut butter one? They were all very rich very decadent. This third time I got the oatmeal and the Biscoff again because they were my favorite and I got a Red Velvet, which has what seems to be a frosting Center I really enjoy cookies and cream. I really enjoy the cookies. The staff is amazing. I definitely like the three for two sale. They seem to have picked up in the evenings and if you go during the day, it's pretty quiet.
