They aren't too sweet. They are crunchy on the edges and soft in the inside, a perfect chew. My favorite cookies were the chocolate chip, the marshmallow (chocolate chip with marshmallow pieces on top) and the red velvet. When I check in it was after closing so I didn't get a lot of pics but SERVICE is TOP NOTCH to allow me to quickly purchase after hours I truly appreciated. The banana pudding cup was mmm good but that Strawberry crunch cheesecake pudding was a heavy hitter, that was by far my favorite but I can't speak too soon until I try them all lol. I've heard that there was an ice cream parlor near, 196th but I was 2 years late due to my lack of awareness of my surroundings. So I decided to peek inside of this treasure trove and may I say, what a treat! Sensing the aura of the decor, pink & green striped wall conveying its charm and happiness, it also evokes a playful 80s aesthetic. All of that wrapped up in two words, FUN TREATS! I approached the counter snapping pics and a young lady stopped what she was doing to assist me. I got a little gun shy and I thought she was going to kick me out for snapping pics but she turned out to be very pleasant and engaging all the while, providing superior customer service. I found out her name is Mona, she allowed me to sample several selections such as - Latte Coffee, pistachio, Baileys, & Monster cookie, just flip it and you can see how it got its name. I'll let you figure it out from the pictures. The latte coffee was the least for me, only because I don't like chips in my ice cream. All of the other flavors that I mentioned, were a hit. I also purchased a carrot cake. Trust me on this, Bailey's and the carrot cake together are a grand slam! Instead of waiting for Mr. Softy, I stocked up on 4 flavors, Monster cookies, Pistachio, Bailey's, and Butter pecan. I can sit and enjoy at any hour of the day, in the comfort of my own home. I took my daughter with me. I ordered an ice matcha latte and a chicken patty. The gentleman behind the counter was so helpful and patient. Very attentive to my order. My daughter and I took a seat and in minutes he brought out the patty warmed up and on a plate. Few minutes later my drink came out. The establishment is very cute and cozy. Definitely able to sit and have conversation or get work done. It is a little gem on Jamaica ave. It is on the side block and not directly on Jamaica ave itself. I will definitely be going back.
