They were able to fulfill my special request. Friendly workers and one of the nicer locations around. Will definitely come to this location again for my cakes.

    Yes! Soft Strawberry & Pistachio!

Craving the smooth, cool, creamy goodness of a fabulously fresh soft serve Pistacho or Strawberry ice cream from Carvel?!?! Yes this is a total rarity, especially at the majority of locations you walk into, unless they were recently making a batch of flying saucers. Although would have to say when I get this specific crave that only Carvel serves up with their smooth tasty soft serve blend, YES no crunchy nuts to get in way of great flavor, I can most times guarantee that Carvel of Franklin Square on Franklin Avenue will have it. Oh and course this particular random stop in they indeed did, HOORAY! :) As a little girl I always liked the 'Pink' ice cream (Strawberry) and would get upset when in one of those generic 3 flavored half gallons that my dad would get from the supermarket (to satisfy all family members likes)that the 'brown' flavor, chocolate was touching it. Everyone knows, even kids that chocolate flavor ice cream will always mix into the other flavors to be the dominant flavor ingredient, making everything taste like chocolate. :/ Nevertheless, as I grew older and worked in an ice cream focused restaurant for over 7 years, I learned to appreciate other flavors, even ones that had bits of things in it. Although even with finding new favorites like Pistachio and Moca Chunk, Carvel's soft serve Pistacho & Strawberry are by far this brands best flavors. In my opinion they should make their delicious ice cream cakes out of them. How about it Carvel?? Start out making it a summertime special where for a limited time people could buy an all Strawberry or all Pistachio ice cream cake with your fabulous signature crunches (I know sorta chocolate, but they work and are good) in the middle. You could probably go crazy and make a mixed combo Strawberry/Pistachio one and people like me would totally look to buy it! Wouldn't that be great, a slice of ice cream cake where you didn't have to give away or swap the chocolate layer with a chocoholic for their vanilla to be satisfied. :)

I usually go on Wednesday for the buy one get one offer. The staff is friendly and I got served extremely fast. I would recommend the manager or owner to look into getting carvelite in chocolate since only specific carvels have it.

So amazing. Sundae Dashers, kit kat and Reese's pieces

I came in here this past Sunday. My friend and I ordered the sundae dashers. One was kit kat, the other was Reese's Pieces. We both had our coupons for $1.00 off each dasher. The place was clean, the girls behind the counter were very helpful, polite and quick on customer service.

While on a corner on a pretty busy street, the location seemed slightly obscure. No parking - just 2 or 3 spots in front of the establishment. We came mid-day on a gloomy Sunday in February...so we didn't have an issue parking right in the front. We were greeted by the friendly associate. There were lots of great-looking gelato flavors which the associate also allowed us to sample first (very kind). She was very patient with us and really seemed to enjoy working there. We're BIG hazelnut enthusiasts, so we each had one scoop of hazelnut flavor and one of the Rocher (hazelnut) flavor. They also had an amazing fig and honey gelato flavors which was absolutely delicious. They offer 4 sizes - kids' size, and then the usual - small, medium and large. The small is 2 generous scoops - and that's what we went with. The overall experience didn't disappoint at all; we thoroughly enjoyed the treat, my hubby had an espresso coffee as well (very good) and we got a kids cup of vanilla for our pup. The prices were also decent and for this type of experience, I will gladly support a small business. I definitely recommend checking out this little gem. Will return once the weather get warmer!

I went with a large 3 flavor cup and chose rainbow cookie, cannoli and s'mores. The rainbow cookie was my favorite of the three. And they put a little tiny cone on top which was cute.

This location is one of many locations that span across Long Island, Manhattan, and New Jersey. They offer ices, ice creams, and drinks which come in all flavors. My favorite ice cream to order when I visit is pistachio. It's delicious and has many pistachios throughout the ice cream. Staff were very friendly and helpful, we enjoyed a few laughs. If you happen to drive by or walk by a Ralph's Famous Ices, stop in and treat yourself to a sweet treat.

I have this goofy way of making Dad jokes and it's not like offensive at all. And the girl taking my order didn't seem too annoyed. But when I looked up to pay my sister's face was so red and she was like we are never coming back to this place like what's with that guy. She just got a treat for the kids and walked away. I was disappointed. I never saw this older gentleman behind the cashiers and there wasn't a line so I have no idea I guess the guy really doesn't like Dad jokes/ people who make jokes. My sister was very adamant that it wasn't the jokes. Hey you know what I still left with my key lime pie blizzzard with the ice and the soft serve joint together in a cup. I no longer live in the area so idk when I will return but my Mom lives close by so I guess decisions will have to be made in the future regarding where I get my icey fix at. t This spot has a parking lot and very cheery young women taking orders. The line gets long so don't wait all day to go. And don't make any dad jokes unless you want to be stared at.
