I've been in several times now and always find something I want to purchase for my daughter every time. They're always marking down seasonal items so some great deals can be found and they're well-stocked with the basics for every day. Seasonal outfits are always here in plenty of time to get something cute for a holiday or upcoming event. They have a consignment section in the back where you can find gently used items in various sizes like coats and snow gear, onesies, etc. They have tons of accessories for children and babies as well as cute developmental toys age appropriate. I love the location in Hilltop near tons of other fashionable shopping and great dining - it's one of my favorite shopping centers in town.

Per my daughter there has been some recent renovations and it did look great! For reference there is another H&M on the Southside at the Norfolk Premium Outlet's. My daughter prefers Lynnhaven. The store offers a huge selection of women, men and even children's clothing. The racks were full even after Christmas. The stock overall organized, however I saw quite a few dust bunnies on the floor against the walls. My daughter's return was pretty good, but a mistake was made putting the return on the card and instead cash was given. No big deal. The purchase of new items was smooth and the staff friendly. She found the value of her jeans purchase to be better than competitors. So for cost conscious shoppers it's a great place to shop. Being a new store, I thought the inventory would be low, but I was so wrong. They were fully stocked with clothing and all the baby equipment. The store is nice and clean (as it should be, especially since it's a baby/children's store). The staff was so welcoming, engaging and super friendly. I had recently purged my children's closets, so I had quite the load to bring in. I had another appointment, so I just left it with them. They made me fill out some paperwork and then I left. While I was out and about, they called me back rather quickly and let me know that the quote was ready. When I returned, they gave me something in the ballpark of $90. Not too shabby, I must say! This is a good chance to make some cash and whatever they didn't take, I dropped it off at Goodwill before I went home. Things to note: - if you stay in the store, they will prioritize your baskets vs someone that drops it off (as previously mentioned, I did this, but I dropped it off on a Monday morning and I got called back pretty quickly) - they will pay you CASH or store credit OUAC is definitely a spot I will pass by before I go to Goodwill. The selection of items were strong and the store organized. The prices were better than the J Crew Outlet in Norfolk. I found a few sweaters for myself, but passed. A sport coat was too good of a deal to pass up. I still may shop them again before the end of the year. If you like J Crew this is the best time of the year to get deep discounts.

I ended up finding him a really nice jacket and a activewear top in a soft and comfy moisture wicking fabric that he loves. The cashier was friendly and I signed up for their rewards program where you are emailed coupons and get $5 off after getting 500 points which happens quickly when you get 2 points per $1 spent and 50 points just for signing up. The staff make commission so they do tend to lean towards the overbearing side by bringing you a bunch of items and trying to get you to buy all kinds of things that you probably don't need, like, or want but they will cater to your needs and bring you whatever you want or ask for while you are in the store which can be nice if you know how to handle it... Since they no longer apparently carry the Lucky jeans I now wear their BKE but I am a picky jeans gal and am particular about the style of the back pockets. They have a beachy, shabby chic, grunge-type style if you ask me... torn and rhinestone jeans with faded T's and lots of Hurley stuff... I typically only buy jeans here - I do love them - but the shirts are not my style. My husband bought jeans, shirts, t-shirts, hats, flip flops, etc. I enjoy shopping here but, as I mentioned above, make sure you are firm about what you do and don't want or like when you first start working with one of the employees inside, otherwise they will waste your time showing you a bunch of things you probably won't even like or want to wear...
