I don't want to harp on how the previous location was run, but I feel it is fair and necessary to say that it is much better since it's re-opening. Prices, organization, and inventory have all improved! Very excited that they're here! When I was walked in today, I was greeted by one of the owners in a very friendly fashion. He was sitting behind the front counter talking pleasantly with a customer and greeted us with a smile and a hello! Both times we have been here, it has been very organized and easy to browse. They put batteries in the things that require them so you can see that they work. If they miss something and it doesn't have batteries, they offered to put batteries in it so that you can see that it functions properly before purchasing. It's clear that they care very much about their inventory and the way it is organized. The clothing and toys are all clean and easy to see. During our first visit I bought a couple of clothing items and a baby swing. We were so excited to find this item at a reasonable price, in good operation and clean. The "lost star" - and my only qualm - is that during my second visit to this location, after we had been browsing for a bit, the conversation at the front register turn to politics (it's a pretty small store so any conversation reaches the whole store). I stayed and waited for it to end, but it drug out and they kept discussing... The cashier/owner did nothing to redirect the conversation and continued to engage in discussion about politics. To be honest, I don't necessarily disagree with the things that they were saying... I am just so tired of listening to politics everywhere I go. Before leaving, I did say something to the owner and (I thought, politely) let him know that I was uncomfortable trying to browse while they were discussing religion and politics. I even told him I didn't disagree with his point of view in the discussion, it just made it really hard to enjoy my shopping experience. Politics are everywhere... I don't really want to listen to them when I am shopping for clothes and toys for my baby. I will come back again. I like this store and the ownership... I just hope to have a better experience next time.

I'd give zero reviews if I could. In an attempt to shop local, my husband and I purchased an amber…read moreteething necklace here. Within 2 hours a bead had broken off, and the baby did not bite it. I brought it back with the intent to return it and buy one online from a company I used previously that had lasted for 4 years. I exchanged instead, against my better judgement. I put this new necklace on my baby a few hours later and realized it could be pulled up over her head, it was too long. This is dangerous for a teething necklace and they should fit a bit more snugly. I brought it back the next morning and was told no refunds at all and it was shocking I was even allowed to exchange the day before. I said I was quite frustrated that both experiences at this local shop have now been negative and the blonde employee there(different from the red headed one the previous day) told me that she didn't understand why I was frustrated with her since she can't change policy. While this is correct, she is the face of the company during my interaction, so unfortunately she is the one receiving my dissatisfaction. She offered a one time in store credit, which I declined. I walked to the door and informed her that I had no desire to bring any of my business to this store again and it's been a huge waste of my time. She said under her breath as I walked out the door, "YOU NEED SERIOUS HELP." I'm sorry, but that is absolutely uncalled for. I am allowed to politely but adamantly express my dissatisfaction with a company policy without the employee telling me to get help!! I had not used foul language up until this point, but I said a few unkind words at that point and stormed out. Utterly disappointed that our opinion of this area(recent move to this new area) has been sullied by unkind and unprofessional businesses like this one.

I came by when they had their 50% off sale- and WOW I got sooo much stuff for 11$! I'm so glad I stumbled upon this place. I'll definitely be back as soon as my son needs anything. Thanks for the help, the conversation, and the great deals!

So below was my initial 5-star review. I've since changed my opinion on this store... I frequented…read morethis store probably once a week, dropping of my children's clothes that no longer fit them and using the credit towards getting them other items. I always purchased a toy or two. I would say each visit, I'd spend an average of $30-$50 using store credit from my trade-ins and paying the difference in cash or card. I brought business to the establishment and chose to bring my items to this small local store rather than a larger chain like Once Upon a Child. However, the last time I brought items, I included items my sister had given me that no longer fit my daughter or son. Some of the items my sister had given me hadn't been washed, so the owner called to tell me to pick up the unwashed items. I apologized profusely to her and said I would absolutely pick them up and wash them and that since my sister had given them to me, I didn't realize they were unwashed, saying "I'm so sorry, how rude of me, I truly apologize!" My husband drove to the store to pick up the box of clothes and the owner told him, "You aren't welcome in this store anymore". He calls to tell me this, which made me feel worse and I felt terrible for having accidentally brought dirty items, so I called her immediately to apologize again... Turns out, it had nothing to do with some of the clothes being dirty... When I called to talk to her, she told me I'm no longer welcome there because her store "isn't for people like you" and that I can "obviously buy clothes at more expensive stores" and her store "is for people who really need the service"... She profiled me and my family... discriminating against us because she is assuming something about how much money we have??? She has no idea what we make, what kind of life we live, or what kind of expenses we have. She doesn't know if we are caring for a sickly parent or have medical bills for illnesses, she doesn't know anything about our family or why we choose to buy our children's clothes used to save money. And to profile us and tell us that we aren't welcome in her store anymore is absolutely baffling. I feel offended and completely blown away that someone would be so incredibly presumptuous. I was speechless as she said this to me on the phone and she ended the call by saying, "Have a good life." I could probably sue her for this interaction as she discriminated against me based on what she assumes our family income is, but I won't. I'm a Christian and go to church every week and truly believe in being kind and forgiving to every person I meet... so I will forgive this, but I will definitely never ever return to this store and will bring my business elsewhere. My initial review (5-stars): I think this place is great! Items are well priced and she accepts so many different things when taking items in. I've brought baby clothes, crib bumpers, toys, and even a co-sleeper crib. The woman who owns the shop is very friendly and sweet. Very kind and great with my kids! I love that she has a little walled off section for my baby to play in while I shop. I also think it's great that she sells used items that other stores tend not to sell, like crib sheets. Great place!
