Refer to the pic I posted. As soon as you enter it's on the right hand side. They have bread, flans, jello, fruit. I came in and looked at the bread and there was A HUGE FLY INSIDE where the bread was at!! It was flying super slow like it had been in there for a while. I told one of the girls and she dare give me attitude because I told her there was a fly in there!! She said "what else did you need" I said "nothing else! Just need you to take care of this!" And she said okay. I walked away and went to other little stores. As I was leaving I looked to see if she got rid of the bread and the bread was in there still. Same one as when I told her to get rid of the fly. All she did was get rid of the fly and she left the tainted bread in there!!!! Disgusting!!! This is people's health ya'll are playing with!!! Not okay and never going back there. People pay $$ for edible food , and these establishments just don't gaf. I told everyone I know about my experience so they can be aware!! As for other restaurants here, it's always a hit or miss!!! Not coming back!!!

I also was surprised to see Aeropostale and Cotton On. I thought the former had gone out of business. My only complaint is the food court. Why is it tucked away in a corner down a separate wing? And I wish the crepe place also made savory ones.

If you're looking for something quick to eat, you can eat at the food court or grab pretzels from the several many kiosk throughout the mall. If you feel like dining in, they have restaurants like the Cheesecake Factory located on the outside. This location also has a movie theater attached to it. The value of anything sold here really depends on where you choose to shop. There are stores that can be costly and some more affordable. They have an Apple and Samsung store located inside as well. The service is great. They keep this location well maintained. My only complaint is I wish they had more directories inside to navigate the mall because the layout is a bit confusing.

It was one of the nice malls growing up that was nearby. Now, it's somewhat similar from what I remembered. Give or take some of the major departments stores are gone and replaced by a major chain store. You still have all the little mom and pop shops. Then the classic retailers. Loads of stores that I loved growing up have vanished. Either out of business or relocated. Department stores like Macys and JC Pennys are still there but nothing major. I don't even know what the food court is like as we didn't even venture that far. I had to return something and they had a store here. A smaller store but still. Plenty of parking as the space is massive. Mall is decent size but nothing crazy big. It's the neighborhood mall that I feel like it'll be there for many more years to come.

I went here during a Friday evening parking lot pop up event and I have been here in the past prior to COVID and got the same eugh vibes. I'm not sure how a mall that has a Target, Book Off, and Round 1 was able to incite these negative ASMR feelings. At the very least there's still a food court and a good number of shops, but it does look old. Parking lot was absolutely fisted, probably due to the event and potentially because there might not be that much to do in that area or in terms of shopping opportunities. AC was not that great throughout the mall. Like for a couple shops we could feel it blast through, other ones felt like you were in the sauna. The main mall area connecting all of the shops just felt like a murky, muggy hotter than room temperature feeling. I wanted to get out ASAP. Also knowing Yelp's ToS, this review would get removed if I was 100% frank with the clientele that frequent this mall, but it says a lot if a subpar mall was able to be forced into existence from the community. Had a dude tell us to "get TF out of the way" and call us blind (thinking we cannot speak English AND being extremely ableist). You could have simply used your manners and said "excuse me", but that's beyond some. Some of the grossest restrooms I've been to too. I'm not sure how a dead mall like the Puente Hills one is better than this one.

For the longest time, the parking spots really irked me - particularly those near Blaze, etc. Jaime G. recently posted some pictures saying they repainted the lines to make them larger, but I had to see it to believe it. Sure enough, they have three painted the lines as of 9/15/15! Everyone in South Gate drives a big gnarly truck or an SUV... or they just can't park period, so it was getting pretty frustrating. THANK YOU whoever made the final decision on getting it fixed. Security is usually driving around in a golf cart if you need assistance. Very disappointed with Stonewood Center…read more A week ago, my son took his family to Stonewood Center to enjoy a circus that was parked on the mall property. Unfortunately, while his vehicle was parked in the Stonewood parking lot, someone stole the tailgate from his vehicle. I honestly couldn't believe this could happen. My son works very hard for the things he has, and he was simply trying to enjoy a fun day with his family. Having his property stolen was extremely upsetting and completely ruined what should have been a nice family outing. This experience also made me question the overall security at Stonewood. I have noticed that security is often difficult to find, and when they are around, they don't always seem attentive. There have also been incidents of theft inside the mall, which makes me feel that more needs to be done to protect customers and their property. The restrooms are often dirty, and sometimes they are closed. There are also times when you see homeless people inside, and honestly, the overall atmosphere just doesn't feel comfortable or safe. It feels like you go in, get what you need, and leave as quickly as possible. I really think Stonewood Center needs to take these concerns seriously and improve security, cleanliness, and the overall environment for its customers. After what happened to my son and his family, I personally will not be returning to Stonewood Center. It's unfortunate because families should be able to enjoy a place like this without worrying about their safety or belongings.

This helps out a lot when you have a whole bunch of people not from the area and you, perhaps, just come out of the movies. No one is ready to go home yet and everyone is hungry. The first thing you want is to know where to go. The last thing you want to do is Click 50 different places when you don't know the neighborhood. This could lead to frustration if everybody can't get what they want. Now enter the Downey Gateway Yelp entry. Once you read up on it and look at the pictures, you will realize that this place is pretty loaded with variety. From Burgers to Pizza. From Cajun food to sushi and even hummus. From fish to healthy grilled foods and there is even. Something dedicated to your sweet tooth for dessert (or anytime) - a frozen yogurt shop! Oh and we can't forget the other businesses that are not food related, such as Financial Partners, Adalies, Vanity, Allure & CrossFit. So I sincerely hope the Downey Gateway offers everyone something that they love. Sincerely, A guy from Florida that loves this place.
