I got a bill for $1,250. I called and asked why they added 45% of the bill in extra fees, even though their website said 20%. I called and asked why the two things conflicted and the woman who I was speaking to in construction department was very rude. I waited a month to get an answer back, all the while they were adding late fees to my bill. They had multiple notes on my account, such as they pulled the call and discovered I was never told about any fees, but they did nothing about adjusting the price. I spoke with a different woman multiple times who was very helpful, but eventually she said that in the notes the person who makes the decision about price adjustment said that they would do nothing about adjusting the price and I just had to pay. I still have not heard anything back about why their website says 20% fees but they charged 45% and it has been about 2 months. CALL EMPIRE CONTRACTORS - They quoted me $450 for 8 tons of concrete (I still have about 10 tons left) I just wish I had known about them in the first place!!
