It was a lot of fun. We won some sort of prize for dancing. I'm pretty sure it was more enthusiasm than skill. Recently, I dropped by this shopping centre a handful of times. I mainly visited the food court on the second floor where Cafe Mozaiko is located. I have done takeout every time. There are a handful of other eateries that I'd like to check out. There are places to sit down at the food court. It's bright, especially when the sun shines in. I frankly haven't shopped here. I know that there's a hair salon and phone store with accessories. I should check out the shopping in future, but I'm always doing takeout. I literally grab my food and go! I have always parked in front of the entrance facing East Beaver Creek Road. I've never had a problem finding parking. Parking outdoors requires using the stairs. Alternatively, there is underground parking where you can take the elevator. I haven't used the elevator, but I'm thankful that there is one, especially for those who need to use it. It is sad that there aren't a ton of businesses that are open. However, I enjoy hitting the food court and will be back soon. (395)

My manager introduced me to this place. Our team drops by now and again to enjoy good meals at affordable prices. The food stall that I frequent the most is Arigato Box. When you are staring at all the food stalls, Arigato Box is the one on the right. This stall has a huge menu that's on a board. It's got pictures and prices. I tend to get the bento box because it has a bit of everything that I love and there is more than one type of bento box. I love yeung chow fried rice. Both Honey Pepper and Dynasty BBQ make this dish exceptionally well. They both don't skip on huge shrimp and veggies. It's delicious. Sea Star has Hong Kong-style items. I remember getting a seafood dish with two sauces with my manager. We loved the tomato sauce, but the white sauce had no flavour at all. We still loved the comforting food. There used to be a Vietnamese food stall called Pho Tai Loi. I loved the pho and vermicelli dishes. I was sad when it closed for good. I believe that a Filipino stall has taken over. I haven't tried it. I will admit that I rarely shop at other stores in this mall. It does have a second floor. The only reason why I was up there was because I needed to use the washroom. Washrooms are upstairs. The food court is downstairs. There is a snack shop called MyDelish on the first floor that has decent Filipino baked goods and more. I ended up getting pork rinds that had palm vinegar. They were fabulous. I remember getting bubble tea at Phoenix Bubble Tea eons ago, which is roughly across from the food court. I don't recall if I loved or hated it, so I need to get another one to sort that out. There was a clothing store next door from which my manager bought a purple hoodie. He is more of a mall shopper than I am. He was extremely happy with his purchase. I do know that there's Gino's Pizza. It's like the beacon of light at this mall. It has always been there since I found out about this mall. I like it here. It's a good place to stop by when you're on a budget, but want good food. I would say its relatively fairly priced. They also have other shops as well that sell clothing and cool goodies which is cool. I love strolling around while waiting for my food as there's always something I could look at. I would say though that the place is sometimes messy and the food court does get crowded sometimes. Service is also pretty quick.

You can find whatever Asian cuisine you'd like, ranging from Chinese, Korean, Japanese and more. The parking situation is not the greatest here, as it's hard to find parking at any hour of the day. There's also a supermarket, Freshway, that makes the plaza more lively and busy. Go Place is also attached to this mall, a 24 hour spa where you can lounge around, eat and use their different relaxation facilities. Inside of the mall you'll find a food court with many options, some of them being the famous bbq meat stalls, dumplings, HK favourites, Thai, bubble tea and more. You can also find a range of stores like cell phone carriers, glasses stores, Chinese herbal stores, and more. There's lots to look at in this plaza with the main focus being on food. You can get food items ranging from cheap to expensive here since there's the food court or dining in at the restaurants. Many stores to check out that sell an abundance of different things. A great spot to stop by if you're visiting Markham for the first time.

Its home to my favourite camera store, Aden Camera, where I purchase most of my hardware. They also have great tasting food from several outlets and stalls. A couple friends and I decided to do a food challenge to see what we could each get for CDN$20. We met the challenge and enjoyed some great tasting food. Our preferred vendors included QQ Noodle King, Go Curry, Chloe's Convenience, Hi Anna's Basket, Shark's Fin City, and Prairie Lamb Kabob. This mall has something for everyone. Check them out!

Like others have mentioned, its more of a booth space versus a mall environment. It feels like the…read morenight markets where you have to negotiate or walk around to find the best deals. Because of that, it can be a little jarring and timely to walk the entire mall area to get what you are looking for. Tons of stores sell the same items - phone cases, Sanrio items, jewelry, keychains, random goods. They also have service focused booths - health, nails, hair, beauty. Vendors also call out to you and sell hard once you are inside a place. Definitely try to negotiate your price or walk away because other stands might sell something similar for less or better value overall. Know your items! Not bad if you are looking around for stuff but also make sure you walk around before settling. Consider that my lesson learned! Food court has a lot of variety and seats come and go. Plenty of options to pick from. Very busy on the weekends. Manageable on weekdays.

The only issue is with our Canadian weather, an open concept mall like this is tough during the colder months. Really quiet during the colder months and who really wants to hang outside for too long. However, during the summer it's a great gathering place with a decent food court, fitness centre activities like Arcadia Earth and National. You can even get some fresh produce and flowers too from Little Harvest Market.

With lots of choices, we had a Roast Beef meal and a Roast Pork meal from The Carvery. Both were very good, and at decent prices. Others decided on Fish Tacos from Hooky's, along with items from other vendors. We were all happy with our choices. After lunch, a couple from our group went to see Arcadia Earth, an artsy exhibit/show, while the rest of us wandered around, exploring The Well. Nice place. The food court has a few options although a lot of them have similar dishes and are really fighting to be the restaurant of choice with the low prices. There usually is enough seating so you don't have to wait, even during lunch. If you're sitting at two tables that are stuck together and aren't using one side, don't be surprised if someone asks if they can pull the table apart to sit next to you. There is a TV on each side of the food court depending on which way you're facing and it appears to always be set to Fairchild. The food court has notices that guests are restricted to a 60 minute sitting time. I've never been there that long so I'm not sure if it's enforced. I do always see maintenance wiping the tables and cleaning the trays so the tables are pretty comfortable. This little plaza really has everything you need!

I recall that the Sweet Culture is one of the original stores from the beginning. The owner advertised on the Chinese TV station to promote their traditional Chinese sweet soups and desserts. People patronized Sweet Culture after seeing midnight Chinese movies at the former Market Village. The (now) new guy behind the counter looks so similar to the original owner that I swear they are related (LOL). The New City Restaurant is another original store. The store next to the current Eat With Fun Roast Restaurant was originally a gift and craft store. Enough for the nostalgia. The mall building has not been kept up with times. There has been no renovation, but some upkeeping works are done. The saving graces are the various eateries. From roast meat, to Shanghainese delights, to steamed pot rice, to Hong Kong cafes, to Hong Kong western diner - they serve unapologetically authentic comfort food from the far east. Looking through the windows, the numerous faces in each and every stores tell you the food here win their seals of approvals. According to a Chinese friend who is a construction worker, there is not a single bad HK milk tea in this mall. I love coming to Peachtree Mall for good food, good milk tea, good value and good nostalgia.

Yea, we always called in mong gok because that's what it's called in Chinese. I actually just went not too long ago, and they changed the sign to "New Kennedy Square", although I still see Peachtree Mall on one of the signs. A couple stores have changed since this plaza has opened, but there have been shops that have been here for decades, like the store that sells popcorn and cotton candy. Or the store that sells sugar cane drinks. More food court booths have opened here, though the one that is directly in the middle of the food court always seems to close, probably because feng shui isnt as great in the spot, no idea tbh. The not so dollar, dollar store is here selling any item you can think of. There are fewer bootleg dvd shops as before. I remember bootleg dvds were like $20 for 3 or $10 for 3 when they were popular in the day. Parking can be difficult during peak times such as Saturday for dinner, but you shouldn't need to wait long for a spot.

Here's the question that I have been facing at work. We have a document with New in its title. Is it really new when this document has existed for a few years? I feel the same way about New Century Plaza. When you visit it, it's like the century look and feel dominate more than new. It is an older plaza. What I noticed is that there are a lot of stores selling Chinese herbs and medicine. I'd imagine that 80% of the stores that I had passed by were herbal ones. Besides the restaurant, across from it was a bookstore. It was a nice change. Before we left, we can across a chicken stand. The chicken looked weird and shredded. I made a comment about it, which made my friends laugh hard. It looked like mystery meat to me. Parking was a bit crazy on a Thursday at around 1 pm. I did manage to find a parking spot. It was much better when we left at 3 pm. I don't drop by this place often, but it's worth it for New Century Restaurant, which has fabulous dim sum. If you do need a herbal shop, you've got a ton of variety at this plaza. (114)

New Century Plaza is an older, dated mall that has been around since the 1980's.  The most vibrant…read moretenant here is the New Century restaurant in which we had a delightful dim sum.  The restaurant itself was vibrant but afterwards we putzed around in the smallish indoor mall here and it was pretty dead on a weekday morning.  The tenants and shoppers are naturally part of the older generation and there are numerous shops for items like ginseng and other dry goods. There was also one big florist and a bookstore.  The demographics makes sense as the youngsters have moved on to the shiny newer malls.   Something makes me think this place can still get busy on the weekends though because there are still a lot of Chinese up here that use these products and everything else for that matter!
