I frankly didn't know that the Asian mall by my workplace is called Dixie Park Centre. I only know it as the Asian food court that offers yummy cheap eats. My manager introduced me to this place. Our team drops by now and again to enjoy good meals at affordable prices. The food stall that I frequent the most is Arigato Box. When you are staring at all the food stalls, Arigato Box is the one on the right. This stall has a huge menu that's on a board. It's got pictures and prices. I tend to get the bento box because it has a bit of everything that I love and there is more than one type of bento box. I love yeung chow fried rice. Both Honey Pepper and Dynasty BBQ make this dish exceptionally well. They both don't skip on huge shrimp and veggies. It's delicious. Sea Star has Hong Kong-style items. I remember getting a seafood dish with two sauces with my manager. We loved the tomato sauce, but the white sauce had no flavour at all. We still loved the comforting food. There used to be a Vietnamese food stall called Pho Tai Loi. I loved the pho and vermicelli dishes. I was sad when it closed for good. I believe that a Filipino stall has taken over. I haven't tried it. I will admit that I rarely shop at other stores in this mall. It does have a second floor. The only reason why I was up there was because I needed to use the washroom. Washrooms are upstairs. The food court is downstairs. There is a snack shop called MyDelish on the first floor that has decent Filipino baked goods and more. I ended up getting pork rinds that had palm vinegar. They were fabulous. I remember getting bubble tea at Phoenix Bubble Tea eons ago, which is roughly across from the food court. I don't recall if I loved or hated it, so I need to get another one to sort that out. There was a clothing store next door from which my manager bought a purple hoodie. He is more of a mall shopper than I am. He was extremely happy with his purchase. I do know that there's Gino's Pizza. It's like the beacon of light at this mall. It has always been there since I found out about this mall. I like it here. It's a good place to stop by when you're on a budget, but want good food. Been here to grab food a couple times at the food court as my family loves to eat here. This place has a bunch of foods to choose from such as sushi, chinese food, and more. I would say its relatively fairly priced. They also have other shops as well that sell clothing and cool goodies which is cool. I love strolling around while waiting for my food as there's always something I could look at. I would say though that the place is sometimes messy and the food court does get crowded sometimes. Service is also pretty quick. read more

This older looking multi-purpose centre has its best days in the rear view mirror. My family and I came here to have lunch in the Food court. There are a variety of small businesses in this 3-level complex with a huge parking lot. Just walk around and you can see that a face-lift would definitely drive up leasing costs. Hence, status quo seems to be the business strategy. read more

Pretty sure this is where malls go to die; but if you're in search of authentic boba, this is the place. The highlight of the mall is the food court where everyone is competing for your coin. Boba is as cheap as $3, but ranges to the more sublime as well. (Halo Halo, real fruit smoothies and ube based drinks.) This is bubble tea without people in lab coats without nonsense flavour needles and other gimmicks. That stuff can be fun, but tiring when the boba tastes sickly sweet. I went for the stand that did only drinks and no food. Not sure it had a name! The halo halo was amazing, my hubbs had a chia coconut fresh mango concoction. I bought packaged snacks for my kids and the entire bill came to $14! Very reasonable for the size, taste calibre and the authenticity. We will be back!! read more

One of my go to places for cheap Asian food! They have an assortment from Japanese, Vietnamese, Filipino and of course Chinese food! My go to spot is normally Lemongrass as their combos are hard to beat. You can get 2 main dishes plus rice for only 11.50! If you're expecting a high end place, this probably isn't the place for you, but if you want quick, cheap and pretty delicious food at a great value, definitely check it out! PS.. Pretty Old shopping mall that reminds you much more of Pacific mall than anything, it's an Asian style mall. I dont mine it looking old as long as the place is kept really clean, which it is and I'm happy about. There's 3 floors and the bathrooms are on the second floor and a food court located at the end of the mall. Business is slow but the best part about this mall is the food court! Food there is so cheap it attracts people from all walks of life. The food court restaurants are all owned by the same owner, so everything on the menu food and privr is practically the same. It's so cheap that for $6 you can get a whole meal. They've got so many options and it's great to order for office lunches or parties! read more

As far as shopping centers go, no this is not a shopping centers in the the conventional sense by any means. It is however a bunch of offices, a handful of stores and a pretty respectable Asian food court. I've been to Pho Tai Loi and Arigato before as well as the Lemon Grass and Pepper place and I have to say the prices for the quality of the food in here is really great value for reasonable prices all around. Parking here tends to be a little crazy and the entire building just seems out of place. For being east on Dixie (right on Dixie) and south of Eglinton, north of Burnhamthorpe this place technically has both the closest Japanese food (not just sushi) and Vietnamese from where I live. While I'm writing this I realize this place for me only really matters for the food court and it's a decent variety of places to pick from. Being in close proximity to Central Etobicoke I'd recommend it for small groups that can't decide what kind of Asian food they want to eat because you're pretty well covered here. This food court, consisting of 7-8 primarily stir fry stalls, is a complete nightmare for an indecisive person. The main reason is because with the exception of Arigato (Korean/Japanese) & Pho Tai Loi (Viet/Thai), & Dynasty BBQ (more Chinese-BBQ dishes) stalls, they're all the damn same. Most of the stalls offer Fried noodles, rice, rice with pork chop, spicy fried pieces of fish, etc. Customers either have their go-to place OR they try a different place each time. I suspect that some stalls are owned by the same person. I came because I wanted to order from Pho Tai Loi, but by 6pm on a Monday evening, it was closed. Arigato & Lemongrass were both also closed. Maybe they're all closed on Mondays. There are also a coupla places that serve BBT. Food court is clean because there is some sad looking senior who is mopping, wiping down tables, whatnot. I think what would make this food court better is 1) more variety and 2) an iota of being environmental. When I went to toss my used napkin into the garbage bin, all I saw was a bunch of styro containers. They should just name it "Dixie Food Court with limited Parking". Parking can be a bit hard to find during the weekday and weekend lunch rush as a lot of workers around the area come here for good greasy and cheap authentic Chinese food. This mall has practically nothing except 8 food stalls, a couple of bubble tea places and a couple of bakeries, hence why I think this place is more of a food court than an actual mall. I've been frequenting this mall for over 15 years. I would normally find Dixie Park a friendly and easy place to grab a quick lunch or dinner, or even bring the family to. There are a total of eight restaurants in this food court with five of them owned by the family who owns the Lemongrass. However, I just came back from there yesterday and had to leave and go somewhere else because I was REALLY insulted. There's some infighting going on within the mall in such that there are many other stores which sells snacks, Chinese buns, Dominos Pizza, and several bubble tea places which aren't too bad. However, when my family sat down to decide what to eat (there are a lot of choices: Cantonese Foods, North American Chinese Foods, Congees (different types), noodle soups, Chinese BBQ, Vietnamese, Japanese) after buying some bubble tea from one of the vendors in the mall, the owner of the majority of the food court restaurants walks up to me, my wife and my children and holds this 2' by 2' sign in yellow and red stating something along that lines that the no outside food or drink are allowed in the food court. After mentioning that we bought it from the vendor inside the mall no more than 10 ft. away, he goes and states that they don't pay for the maintenance of the tables or cleaners. Then the owner of the bubble tea/snack shop comes out and starts yelling at him, in front of my family. Anyways, they get into a shouting match along the lines that she pays rent for her store which includes maintenance. With that, my family and I for the first time, walked out of the mall and went somewhere else. Been here many times, love this cute oriental mall. Its Kinda like a small little China-town mall place. It has 2 levels to this mall, the first level is the shopping centre with the food court, phones, bakeries and clothes. The second level is more business like doctors office and lawyers office and whatnot. I come here mostly for the food, and the insane bubble tea that they have here at one of the stands. Check this out, they have the bubble tea machines here mixing, like a slushie machine so you don't get nasty powder on the bottom of your cup. Also with tapioca, and lychee jelly WITH Ice cream on the bottom! I know I know! Insane right!?!? This was my first bubble tea I ever had, and to be honest one of the best. You can choose from mango, taro, honeydew, coconut etc. As for the food court, there's about 8 stands or so. They basically sell takeout trays and orders, they give you a number and you wait 3 mins for your order. And one of the stands is for Korean food. A hidden gem in Mississauga when looking for a quick, cheap bite of authentic Hong Kong style fast food. Thai and Japanese stands are also available, the sushi looked especially good but I did not try it at the time. For the Chinese stands, a handful of vendors sell similar dishes, so is useful to compare across vendors for the best price - usually just a fifty cent or dollar difference. The ordering process is quick and efficient (call out by numbers). The other shops on the main floor of the mall carry various consumer goods - some sell snack-size fish ball noodles and bubble tea. One of the stands has bubble tea which were unique in being mixed with what tasted like soft serve vanilla ice cream. There is some cheap ass, good, hot chinese food up in the Park. I'm here for work with 1 China guy, 1 South African, 1 Polish guy, and 1 Russian so it can sometimes be quite the deliberation to decided on lunch. But it seems we'll go here 3 out of 5 times during the week. The noodles dishes are hot & fresh. I've only had 1 shrimp noodle dish I didn't like. The rest are spicy, tastey and diverse (if you consider Chinese, Japanese and Korean different). There's also a dominoes for you honkies out there. Cash only. I come here for a quick work lunch. They have a diverse no frills food court here that serves up Chinese, Vietnamese and Japanese food. My favourite is Lemongrass kitchen, with an assortment of chinese dishes all for $5-10. And the portions are big too! If this was a rating based purely on food I would give it 5 stars because its amazing. There is just so much variety. The reason why I'm leaving a 3 star review is because its not a fancy type restaurant. The place has great food, but the service and the venue is complete crap. Been coming here for a few years now, and the food is still as amazing as is. The prices have went up about a dollar or so over the past five years, but that is to be expected. You can still come here with $10 in your pocket and still get a huge meal, and a bubble tea for under that price. You can get all sorts for foods here from Vietnamese, Japanese and the main one, Chinese. One of my two favourite dishes are the Sweet and Sour Chicken w/ noodles or rice, and BBQ roasted pork on fried rice. If you are interested in the first dish, it can be found from the House Of Pepper, and the second from Dynasty BBQ. Really each place sells the same food anyways. I mean, there's not really much to expect from these small asian malls. I wouldn't really even call it a mall.. just a few shops here and there. I know for sure that people mostly come here for the food lol The food court is pretty much the main reason why people go here, I'm pretty sure. I really do like the food there and prices are pretty good for the amount and quality. I always go for the japanese food in the corner and the bubble tea! The food is good and the service is friendly. My fiance and I have enjoyed food here in the past. We ordered 9 party trays from them for our engagement party last Saturday and one of our chicken fried rice trays went bad before we served it! I went here with my aunt who says it's "totally like Pacific Mall". Well its not. It is really small inside, the upper level is only offices. There are only a couple of stores that sell fashion items. There used to be 2 places for pirate DVDs, but they are now gone. Ok maybe more tables during peak hours but I avoid this place during lunch time. Seems to me that the first 4-5 stores are owned by the same person but I can be completely wrong. The ratings are for the food court in general here, but it is not the best Chinese food you can find, but in the area, I guess there isn't much other choice. The price is abit more when comparing to food court in Scarborough or Markham, and the food is not as good and more expensive. I guess that's because there isn't much competition around the area. When I go there for lunch, i usually go to Lemongrass for their speedy service in getting the food out or the Vietnamese place for Pho or Vietnamese sandwich. The sandwich from this place is good, $3 on average, so this Vietnamese place is actually not bad but the rest of the restaurants are just under par and hence two stars for food as a whole for this mall. For the Korean place at the far right when facing the food court, the pork bone soup is one of the worst I have had... no flavor and all you can taste is salt and MSG... In short, I only go there for a quick lunch when I have no other options in the area. read more
