Things are a little messed up, so I need an oral surgeon. I set an appointment to meet up with him. Pain was easily managed by some ibuprofen so I was able to wait 10 days until the oral surgeon was gonna be in. He works between a few different practices. No biggie. I've had dental work done before so I knew what to expect. I was quoted a price upfront. No surprises. Pain-free as possible. Of course it's gonna be a little bit of pain when you get the shots but only for a few seconds. Only issue is the Post-Operative Instruction are a copy of a copy of a copy. Need to type up a new one. And the gauze they give you to take home in case there is bleeding later, not individually wrapped. I know it would cost a little extra but it would be appreciated.

Initial appointment time was 12 noon for my 4 year old. They called the day before and changed it to 11:30am. Then we get a call the morning of the appointment saying we need to be there at 10:30am. We arrive at 10:30am and then wait until 1pm... our 4 year old hadn't eaten since 6pm the night before. He was crying and saying his stomach hurt. He wasn't allowed to eat breakfast because his appointment was moved to 11:30am and he needed to have at least a 6 hour window with no food. If we had kept his original appointment of 12noon, then he could have eaten breakfast, but they moved up his appointment so he wasn't allowed to eat. During the 2 and a half hour wait we had to walk around the office in search of someone to give us an update. Not once did anyone come to us with any kind of an update. That's pathetic. I have no idea how anyone would give this place a 5 star. Worst service ever. They handled this situation as if they've never handled or dealt with children at all. How could any children's dentist expect a 4 year old to 1, wait in an office for over 2 hours. 2, how could they have nobody come out to do the polite thing and update us. 3, do all this while knowing the 4 year old hadn't eaten anything since the night before at 6pm. My advice to anyone looking to have work done here... DONT!... Run the opposite direction to a different dental office for kids. They have no idea what they're doing here. Everyone who works here is friendly and understanding. Cooper at the front desk is so nice. How many times do you call an office and get annoyed with the receptionist? Not here!! Dr. Raya is very skilled and smart. We have had a couple challenges she has helped with. During one instance after hearing that we were in the hospital, she went out of her way to talk with us on a Sunday and proceeded to find an Anesthesiologist and then came in when the office was supposed to be closed! She got her staff to come in on their day off to help! Such an amazing office!! Dr Raya is our angel we needed. In addition to above, she does not add charges above and beyond the insurance. She is very fair. For those without insurance she even has a very reasonably priced plan I saw on her website at $240 for a whole year.
