Today I had carpet torn up and new flooring put in, its just OK…read more The thing that I'm angry about it the installers un plugged everything from the back of my TV even my Fire Stick. NOTHING was left plugged in, all these guys had to do was pull the power bar out from the wall!!! EASY RIGHT! BUT NOOOOOOOO they had to un plug everything. NOW I have to wait 5 FIVE days for cogeco to come and plug everything back in. I tried with Cogeco over the phone but didnt work. I went into the store to complain but the person who sold me a few thousand dollars didnt care and was kind of rude. She said " Thats why we tell people to un plug their own things" BTW she never told me that. She asked "Who was the sales person" I said You! I just dont like how she responded and not showing much interest now everything was paid in full. If you want a nice sales person DO NOT go to Floors Plus More. Because of this place I will not have cable for 5 days. Cogeco said a cord must be damaged for nothing to work.

Our painter physically made the purchase - at their other store, on Mohawk Road - but when I went in to discuss it, they refused to refund any part of my fee. They were well aware that the purchase was made on my behalf (in fact, Mrs. Urquart is the one who said to me, how is the colour? do you like it?) but only offered a credit instead of the returned fee. I had all the receipts. We had a clear understanding. This was blatant dishonesty.

My business interactions with The Carpet Place was not optimal. I was shopping for flooring and…read morenosings for my stairs. The nosings were backordered and the communication with Patrick Miner was terrible, He would not return calls and when we did reach him either I or my contractor got different responses. When the flooring was delivered I was charged for two pails of glue but only received one.. We would have to drive to the store to get an update because he didn't returm calls. I finally requested a refund for the nosings and went to Bickell who was able to obtain the materials in less than 48 hours.
