I've been a patient at this dental office for about a year or two, but my recent experience has…read morecompletely changed my opinion. I had to cancel an appointment due to an unexpected medical issue and called the office immediately to reschedule. Instead of showing any understanding, I was told I would be charged a $145 cancellation fee -- even after offering to provide a doctor's note confirming the medical situation. The office refused to accept it and said I could not reschedule unless I paid the fee. When I reviewed the financial agreement, it only listed a range of possible fees -- it did not state that the charge was mandatory or specify exact amounts for missed appointments. When I asked for additional documentation or written policy to support their decision, I was told none existed. For a healthcare provider, I find this lack of compassion, flexibility, and transparency very disappointing. Medical issues are often unpredictable, and I expected a much more understanding and professional approach from a dental office. Unfortunately, this experience showed otherwise.

I was there for a molar extraction. From beginning to end, everyone I encountered was amazing!…read moreOnce in my room, on time, the nurse came to review my records. The doctor came in shortly after and started the process. He did a fantastic job, before and during the procedure, of explaining what he was doing and what I might hear/feel. Everything went smoothly. I am day two post op and am recovering nicely. I have zero pain and, most importantly, zero trauma Thank you to the entire team for being so awesome!

When I arrived, I was asked if I was told at the time I made my appointment about the change with…read moremy insurance. I said no. She told me they no longer work with my insurance but they will still except me. The new way it works is that you pay in full up front with a discount and then I have to submit to my insurance for reimbursement. Then she said I was okay for that day, that they'll submit it because they are not fully switched over yet. But because of that, and I know it's because of that, I received the worse service ever from a dentist office. From time I sat in the chair until I got out, 10 minutes!!! It was rushed and incomplete for a cleaning. Didn't do half of what other hygienist do. When you leave a dentist , you can feel the difference in your teeth. Not me, only pain! It's been almost 4 hours now and still in pain! Also, no X-rays either! Even though I was not only a new patient, but when asked how long it's been since my last X-rays and that being at least 3 years, still no X-rays! I even told them I have pain like as if i have a cavity! Still nothing! Said I'm good and it's just recession! ‍ You can't tell me they're not worried about being reimbursed! I've never felt so rushed in my life!

This place deserves far more than five stars for their compassion, efficiency and willingness to…read morelisten. I was the patient albeit reluctantly. I had an ongoing issue with a molar. I thought a filling would do however that was not to be the case. I have an EXTREMELY high tolerance to novocaine. After four attempts at numbing my lower gums my normal dentist conceded defeat. She suggested that I try Buffalo Oral Surgery and hopefully get sedated for an extraction. It was with heavy heart that I made my appointment. Today was the day. I had a female surgeon/dentist. In my angst over this procedure I didn't get her name. She sat and spoke to me about the anesthetic issue and then started shooting me up. It took her about four tries as well. She had me open my mouth and I assumed she was just checking to see if the local was working. She spoke to me about a number of things and then sat back and said the words I so longed to hear - "You are finished. The tooth is gone". YES! Other than my anxiety there was nothing to bother me. The actual extraction was perhaps a minute or two? It took longer for the local to kick in. Am I over my fear of sharp objects in my mouth? Not in this lifetime however I know now that procedures don't need to be painful to be effective.

I said I will call back in a few days once I have her school schedule and mine to book appt. Here's where it gets interesting folks , when calling back I get a lady that says it first up to the surgeon if they will remove the wisdom tooth,(really ! ) . I said it was already reviewed & confirmed and if she looked up her name after I told her , before responding with an attitude because it was in notes. Then was transferred to another scheduler "Peggy" she again said they couldn't give me their specific availability unless I gave them deposit . A freaking $30 deposit , I said we are putting the cart before the horse. Who will give a deposit without knowing what day they have for availability. This is not customer service at its best but all about the all all mighty dollar. You don't get my business , what if there a medical issue after the extraction ? Will the service be tough luck with a kick out the door. No thanks. Whoever is in charge do better and take customer service 101 . Your a DISGRACE !!
