We went there for lunch and found the food to be very good, and very good value. Prices were not too high. The atmosphere is very good. It feels like a real country pub. It is located in the centre of Shefford, which is, I would say, a reasonable size town for the area. It is also a Hotel and they have accomodation available. I cant comment on that as I live locally and have not used it, but if there pub is anything to go by, I'm sure it would be very good.

The food was very expensive, the quality was very poor and the staff showed no hospitality whatsoever. My advice would be that you go elsewhere if you want to have a good meal. What a pity that some places just don't want to put the effort in for their customers.

To clarify I have not stayed at Wyboston as a resort or get away. I have always stayed here for business. I didn't use their meeting spaces though. That being said I have never used the golf course, driving range or spa. I have though ate eaten at the restaurant and used the gym facility. Overall the Wyboston is a solid resort/hotel. The rooms are always very clean, the staff is very proper, polite and helpful and the amenities are a bonus. Additionally their prices are very fair and have always been able to accommodate us. I will add one note, the last time I was there I mentioned that I was vegan and asked if they had anything else that I could eat for breakfast other than toast, fruit and potatoes. The and vegan sausages they heated up for me every morning and I was very grateful that they were able to accommodate my diet. I have not eaten at the restaurant in years so I do not recall what options they have but they do like all great places in the UK have a good cold beer selection and plenty of gin. Typically I would meet local friends here for a glass of wine or beer. The location is price to sit in the comfortable outdoor area and take in the view of the water. At night the lights above the walkway and in the water are so pretty and during the day people watching from this area is pleasant.

Not being a huge football fan (shoot me, I know), I'm not sure I'm as enamoured with this hotel as most. That said, it's definitely not a bad place to stay if in the area. For a typical hotel this place really does tick most of my boxes... the aircon in the rooms works a treat, the black out curtains actually block out all of the exeternal light, there is a small fridge in the room for your own drinks and snacks, and the rooms themselves are spacious... complete with a desk and extra chairs. Even not being a football fan, I must admit that the view into the stadium from the onsite restaurant is quite cool... I believe some rooms have a view as well, so obviously this can be a huge plus. The breakfast here was on par with what you would expect, but extra props for the eager willingness to make eggs however you wanted them. I can't speak to the dinners as I didn't have the chance to try them. The only odd negative can be the sheer size of the hotel as it wraps around the pitch... my particular room was hilariously far away from the entrance which proved a bit of an annoyance when after a long day my keycard no longer functioned... it was nearly soul destroying knowing my bed was just there on the other side of the door with no way for me to get to it. Based on my disclaimer I'm going with four stars personally, as I certainly wouldn't be upset staying here again, but if you're a football fan or if you generally prefer hotels such as the DoubleTree Hilton then I doubt you'll find much fault.

Downsides is it can be pricey when you go direct to Hilton, however check out some of the booking sites like LateRooms or Lastminute to get the best deals. I paid £70 for a night in a pitch side room. Expect the prices to rocket wherever you buy from on match days!

It had a TV, a bed perched up like an upper bunk bed, a gold-out step to get up into the bed, great lighting, fold-out table, luggage nook, plenty of plugs, shower, shower products, sink, toilet, towel, towel hook, trash can, fold-up chair. You can have coffee and hot chocolate anytime, and they have food they can warm up for you. I had been in Spain for 5 days eating yummy tapas but having Hong-style noodles was what I wanted - perfect! I borrowed a hair dryer too. Everything was so well thought out for your comfort, and it sure beats sleeping on an uncomfortable airport chair or trying to figure out the train into London when you are tired and just want to have somewhere to shower and lay down in comfort for awhile.

I'll admit it was a little difficult to find since it was tucked away in a different terminal than where I landed but everyone at heathrow was very helpful. The front concierge (Marta) was really helpful and was quick to offer me the free hot chocolate and coffee which was really necessary for me! Although I don't want to have another 15 hour layover, if I were to ever have one again, I would definitely stay at yotel again! It's reasonably priced and sure beats sleeping at the terminal!
