A new conservatory was added that serves as the breakfast room. The views over their gardens and the Highland Perthshire are astounding. But the most amazing aspect is the welcome we received. Louise and Struan clearly love being innkeepers and are exceptionally good at it. A cup of tea and shortbreads were immediately offered. Advice on what to visit and where to eat was comprehensive, along with maps and other aids. They seem to always have time to stop and chat and move on to handle the next task without giving you the feeling that you've been dumped. But the breakfasts! Oh my, the breakfasts! Scrambled eggs with haggis. Porridge with cream and a wee dram of Scotch. Fresh local ingredients, their own home-smoked salmon, smoothie starters with fresh fruit and a bit of porridge as a thickener. Everything was absolutely delightful. To top it off, they have a liquor license and sell two kinds of local beers and 32 different single malts. Although ranked number two in Pitlochry on Trip Advisor, there is nothing second place about this B&B. Highly recommended.

All rooms have colour television and welcome tray, and most have en-suite facilities. Our room was lkight and airy with white bedlinen. Ample parking at the front and back of the house. You can walk into the town from the B&B too. The couple who run the b&b were warm and friendly, without being nosy and they cooked a made to oredr breakfast. The first time we ate there I had the lambs liver on grilled onions on a pile of mashed potatoes! The hubs had roast beef in gravy in a large Yorkshire pudding both entrees were accompanied by fresh broccoli and carrots cooked till just tender. We ate in the bar dinning area a comfortable light filled area with views of the mountains surrounding Pitlochry. Good regional food at reasonable prices. We went back for the Sunday carvery a set price meal at noon on Sunday's. The offerings were a slice of lamb, roast beef and ham all were cooked well done not my preferred way of eating beef or lamb but tasty. This was accompanied by a choice of potatoes, mashed,boiled or roasted, freaks cabbage cooked with bacon, fried parsnip sticks and carrots. Yorkshire pudding and gravy as well as mint sauce and horseradish sauce. Dessert was included, I had the apple crumble which came with a choice of custard sauce, ice cream or cream. Being lactose intolerant I went plain it was tasty but could use the sauce. Hubs had the cheesecake with ice cream a common combination in the UK.

The host is a nice lady and it was a real pleasure for me to be her guest. She prepared us delicious breakfast in the morning and made up the rooms later on during the day. She even catered for my dietary needs without asking her which was a happy surprise for me. The rooms are reasonably sized, comfortable, clean and bright. each room has access to a private bathroom. There is a large salon on the ground floor opposite the dining room where the tasty breakfast is served every morning. I enjoyed my two stays at Kinnaird Country House and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again there if I was required to visit Pitlochry for a third time.

This place is a charming B&B with lovely views and delicious breakfast was awesome service!…read more They have plenty of parking, it's easy to find, and it's a quick walk into town. The roads in Pitlochry are fairly narrow, as are the turns (aside from the main road through town) which we had a little bit of trouble navigating as we were jet lagged and not used to driving on the other side of the road. The parking lot was a haven as it was so spacious that you could finally breathe a sigh of relief that you made it. The rooms are a little small (if you're comparing to US standards) but we didn't have any problems and thoroughly enjoyed the view from our window. The bathroom was nicely updated and laid out well (functional, and everything was as we expected). The place has delicious breakfast with very attentive staff. We were so sad that we had only booked for a single evening. Next time I'm sure we'll decide to stay here at least a couple more nights to check out the area and enjoy this lovely haven!

Disgusting place. Shabby furniture, stinky rooms, pillow consists of slobber and sebum of hundreds…read moreof former guests. Suppose they are having bed-bugs in the double bedroom. We got a set of itching pimples on our legs and arms, which lasted for five days now. That may be also one reason for the disgusting smell.
