I would never recommend someone who blames his installer for faulty work he himself confirmed upon review and promised umpteen times to fix and never did until we got fed up with the runarouund and filed with BBB. We would never allow this business back in our home to fix anything because someone who back pedals this much and suffers customers to get their feet stabbed by nails or have areas without carpet padding installed is not someone you can trust. Update 4/18 Referred Clint to my Uncle for a carpet install. Upon installation, it was determine the existing of was better than what was paid for and a refund would be given. Clint was to provide a refund for the cost of the pad and the check that was issued bounced. Additionally, I've found that the seams of my installation are highly visible and multiple staples have since popped up and have caught my feet(mainly along the stairway). Original review: After having multiple contractors quote me and pressure me into something I didn't want to purchase, Clint was a breath of fresh air. Upon contacting Clint, I explained what I was looking for and without even needing to meet him in person, I was comfortable enough to proceed with Carpet Town. The quality of the pad and carpet make for a nice option if you are looking for a cost effective replacement. The installation seems decent(I've noticed that carpet seams are not in ideal locations and various staples are exposed) along with excellent pricing have left me impressed. Clint and his sub contractors did my flooring a little under a year ago. I've held off on writing a review because he was suppose to fix my flooring for the 3rd time. Unfortunately he forgot I exist and ghosted, so I'm writing this review. I was originally told it would be a 3 day max project. However, I believe it went about 2 weeks. In this time I had to move out of my home because there was no flooring and wood dust everywhere. His workers did the carpet first, which went fine, but then they did the laminate.. They used a wood cutter with no precautions in my 1000 sq ft condo, and got saw dust everywhere. They used my fiancé's work scrubs to wipe up caulk. They blasted music in my home with the doors open for a week straight. I came back and was horrified. The flooring looked so bad, my new carpet and all of my surfaces were covered in wood dust. Everything was a mess. Most of the planks weren't even fit properly. The edges of the laminate didn't even touch the wall in most corners. Also, there were voids and bumps under the boards causing them to bend. He claimed they were water resistant enough to be put in a bathroom, but after a light mop, most boards have begun to swell at the edges revealing that they are in fact Particle Board, not Laminate. I told him and he said he would have them come back and fix it. So I had to move out again. When I came back after a week, they looked the exact same. I just gave up. I was exhausted by the whole experience. They still look awful. So I'll be getting them redone by a professional eventually when I have the energy to do this again. Clint installed carpet in 2 bedrooms in our house in February 2021 and did a great job. It's the carpet I picked out, looked great, and Clint did a nice job on the installation for those 2 small bedrooms. Fast forward a few months- we purchased a new home in August 2021 and wanted Clint to install carpet on the entire 2nd floor of our new home. He had someone come out to measure, and I told him I wanted the exact same carpet we purchased at the other house. The 1st day if installation, the person doesn't show up until 3 pm, when they were supposed to be there in the morning. We had a very tight timeline and they had 4 days time to finish the carpet installation. Day #1 doesn't start until 3-4pm, and it's the wrong carpet and not what I ordered. We called Clint and he said he ordered the wrong carpet and the carpet I actually requested wouldn't be delivered for 2 more weeks. We didn't have that time, so I said just install the carpet that was incorrectly ordered and we will deal with it later, because we needed flooring upstairs immediately. There was only 1 installer for this entire job of 1,200 sq ft and he didn't show up until 2-3 pm each day and would stay until 11-12pm. We were renovating and weren't moved in yet so my husband had to stay up at the house every night until the installer was ready to leave. He was constantly on the phone and taking smoke breaks and wasn't getting the carpet installed properly. It wasn't tight, there's ripples everywhere, the edges were a mess, and we were getting pricked with staples when walking on it. We did the runaround with Clint for months to get it fixed at least, even though it wasn't even the carpet that I wanted or ordered and he kept ghosting us and said he had a great guy that could fix it. We eventually got so fed up and don't feel comfortable having Clint or anyone he hires to come back into our home. If I had only used Clint for the carpet at our 1st house, I would have recommended him. But after the catastrophe of the install at our new house, and it still isn't fixed 9 months later, I would not recommend using Clint/Carpet Town to anyone. The product was great but installation was not!! We were very pleased when we purchased the carpet, but eighteen months later the carpet is all pulling up. We have made several appointments to have it fixed, but no one has showed up, nor gave us the courtesy of a call when they did not keep their appointments. We believe it was the way the carpet was installed and not the quality of the carpet, however, they still need to fix the problem. If they ever do show up we will have to move all our furniture again - which is such a ordeal. We thought we did our research before buying, but we are now embarrassed to have visitors in our home. read more

I spoke with Clint on a Wednesday in regards to placing new carpet in our rental. He was very polite and informative. He quoted a price over the phone and immediately sent me samples of carpet pictures to my phone. By Saturday the carpet was installed and looks absolutely fantastic. His installation was all inclusive and they even cleaned the baseboards! I could not recommend a better company.
