While they were shaving my post I watched a worker take chunks out of the wood. I stated it needed to be fixed. the worker used wood filler that wasn't stainable. it's their job to know that not mine. I allowed them to do the work -I come back to a broken storm door completely bent screws missing that I had to fix myself- there was a gash in my wall on my stairs that I had to fix myself as well - no thank you from the company. there was a blemish on my floor right by kitchen- there was a stain in my closet -there was a stain in my dining room and my post going up my stairs was silver in multiple spots. I addressed this with the owner David Habib and he basically said well there's nothing that they could do nor did he offer any type of compensation. He said they would color it or try to blend it. He Didn't want to pay for the post that they ruined - so my husband said we would split it and we didn't have to. I told him the post could not stay like that/ it needs to be changed/ the post was on back order for three months. I told him when he came if he was going to take the post out I don't wanna have to deal with any more problems- he could not guarantee that. I could've been a bitch and said I don't care if it creates more problems if it creates more problems then you resand the stairs and you fix it but instead because I'm a good person I said I'll just leave the post like that after paying $7000 and I'll touch it up as best as I can thinking that I was preventing him from going into a bigger problem which indirectly wasn't my problem. the spindles on my stairs were taken out and never glued back: sent him a message about that got no response . I decided to call his partner Sean and tell his partner that where I come from this is not how people do business if the job is not 100% then I should be offered compensation and I'm not paying 100% of the bill. This wasn't one issue it was multiple. He came to my home clearly wasn't too happy about taking a dollar off the bill- he just wants to have imperfections in a home and not give a shit. offered a credit to the company and I said a credit will not be suffice. If you hire this company you better make sure the work is perfect because he will pretty much tell you to go fuck yourself and not give a shit about fixing it. My husband told him he needs to take $600 off the bill due to stains that I have to look at and live with for the next 15 to 20 years I think that was pretty fair. Both myself & my husband had no problem with anything else but had a problem with them not taking accountability for the multiple stains and markings that were on my floor after the job was done. we thought All was good but since David Habib had to finally move like a real businessman with morals he's mad- four weeks ago a worker dragged a box across my floor. nothing major the floor just needs to be buffed I sent multiple emails multiple text messages/multiple voicemails myself & my husband for five weeks to try to get in touch with them- they both ignored us. They want to appoint blame at the customer for having a reaction to their work the picture speak for themselves. Got a new company that wanted the color bc its custom - so consistently stated we need information & ignored on every attempt - finally Dave answers 6 wks later and says due to circumstances find someoneELSE to fix the job. I all of a sudden don't want to live w stains and markings on my floor and post that can't be fixed - stay tuned David habib I'm just getting started ur a horrible businessman Ps don't listen to anything he has to say in his response - trying to save face - narcissist- is getting mad at others people's reaction to their shit behavior - what I stated is exactly the truth ! The results "look" good but the requirements for use and maintenance to keep the five year, non-transferable, PRO-RATED warranty valid are nearly impossible to adhere to for people living normally busy lives. During the first 90 days, the tub must be wiped dry after each use and NOTHING -- soap, shampoo bottles, etc. -- should be placed on any of the glazed surface. For the life of the glaze, all cleaners must be free of abrasives or bleach. Cleaners used to maintain grout on tile above the tub must not come in contact with the glaze. Additionally, "all chemicals must be kept away from the finish [including but not limited to] cosmetics, hair dyes, perfumes." To prevent staining the glaze, nothing can be stored on its surface (shampoo bottles, etc). Dropping hard or sharp objects onto the surface risk scratching it, which will void the warranty unless the company is notified immediately to repair the damage (no indication if a fee will be charged for this service). The list of "do's and don'ts" that have the potential to void the contract make normal use and cleaning of the tub and the surrounding tile impossible. When the glazing job was completed and the tape and paper meant to protect the floor next to the tub were removed, a thick, ugly coat of glaze was covering the wide strip of caulk between the tub and floor -- a small part of that was also on the floor tile. Additionally, there was a light glaze overspray on the floor tile, side of the toilet, and toilet seat and cover. The overspray error could easily have been avoided with drop cloths. That the caulk was covered and ugly and began flaking almost immediately is baffling to me. After pointing out these problems to the contractor he said he would get in touch with the reglazing company and have them address the problems. Apparently, the only person who could fix the problem was on vacation, so it took more than a week for him to return. When I told him it was absurd that the job looked the way it did, he spoke sharply and rudely to me -- as though a paying customer has no right to be critical of work done badly. I have an audio recording of this encounter. During the second and much delayed second visit, the thick layer of glaze was removed from the caulk along the floor and the lighter layer of overspray was removed from the floor (where it could be seen, since the floor is not white). It was not, however, removed from the toilet. It should be noted that this company has a prior affiliation with a company of the same name in Middlesex, NJ but that that affiliation is no longer in effect.

Purchased flooring for most of our home through Costco, who used Worldwide Flooring. At the time…read moreof sale, salesman seemed wonderful. However, he has lied and tried to cheat us out of more money ever since. When the job was done I spoke to both Tony, the salesman, and the off-site supervisor for Worldwide stating that I was not happy with white molding because it does not match. I had tried to tell the installer as soon as he started, but he did not understand or speak English. This had been a problem for the 2 days he and his partner were working. Tony said he would "see what he could do" to get the matching molding and have it replaced. The supervisor had just said it would take time to get it and then come back. The next thing I heard from Tony was that Worldwide Flooring wanted an extra $750 for the installation because there was more labor than anticipated. Well, they finished the job earlier than originally scheduled and we had done everything we were told we needed to do in preparation. Tony had done a thorough walk through and seen how much furniture was involved. We said we were not paying over and above what we had contracted for, and paid in full before the job was completed, as they required. I never heard back about the molding, so After a month I called Tony (I had given him time to get it since the supervisor said it could take time). He said if I wanted to molding, or the current one painted, I would have to pay for it since I "refused" to pay the extra $750. Tony told to me to go ahead and contact Costco, I could tell my side of the story and he would tell his. He had a real attitude about him. I called the liaison, and wrote a letter, giving very explicit details about the 2 days and everything that had transpired. In response, Tony told the liaison that there was extra labor, and later lied and said they sent extra help and that was why they got done early. Well, this extra help was invisible to both my husband and myself, who were both home the entire time. He also lied and said my cabinets are white, which you can clearly see in the photo that they are not. It has now been 10 days since my initial contact, and still nothing but sorry about that from anybody. I have done may projects through Costco, and never had an issue that was not quickly and easily resolved.
