We were taken advantage of including paying for work that was never done and were told it was, hurried work that required rework multiple times, schedule slippage by multiple weeks causing us to incur additional costs and rescheduling subsequent contractors. John discussed making things right, however we were well past the point of allowing for this to continue and paid for a different contractor to finish the remaining rework. Phone calls to the store went un-returned. Promised timelines were not met. My husband and I had to move all of our belongings into our garage because the carpet was not installed when it was supposed to. I reached out to customer service outlining our experience and the manager had the audacity to say "as you can imagine, reordering the carpet in the correct style/color did not leave any opportunity for profit on your order". It seems the sales people will say whatever they need to in order to make the sale and then will leave you hanging when things don't go as planned.

I had my floors installed in January 2021. This was a disaster from the beginning, The transitions…read morewere a different color, the gaps between the quarterround and the floor were awful. They stuffed crap in between the gaps to fill in spaces, then came back and caulked the ever living hell out of it, and to the floor. Then the floor boards separated. Someone came in and kicked it closed and said it's fixed. Then the floor separated again. They replaced the entire hallway flooring. They still separated, at this point it was out of warranty and I gave up. Four years later we are replacing these floors. When we pulled them up, we found that they nailed all the quarter round through the floor. It's a FLOATING floor, this is why they became unlocked. Then we found where they glued the flooring peices together and to the blue foam underlayment. There were peices shorter than 8 inches cut and put in where they did not measure correctly. This is the worst flooring job my husband has ever seen, this was done before we were married, and he is in construction. Half the stuff they did was completely wrong. I will never use or recommend Empire to anyone. Wish I could give NO Stars

We hired Abbey to install a custom tile shower 6 years ago and after less than 1 year it leaked…read more They attempted a fix but after another 3 years it leaked again. After attempting to call and even a visit to the office no return calls were received. We hired another firm to rip out and replace the shower and found that the installation was completely wrong. As if armatures were doing the installation. We paid Abbey over $8k for the original installation and now we have $4k in fixing their subcontractors crappy work. They use subs for everything who have no skin it the game. Our new installer (a reputable company with a storefront in the community) stated that this was horribly incorrect and it is no wonder it leaked. DO NOT USE ABBEY DECORATING CENTER. BE WARNED!!!

Check in was quick and easy - just sign a waiver and pay the daily drop-in fee - $8. I think there's a punch card you can purchase so that the visits will be cheaper in the end. My daughter had so much fun this time that I think I'll have to purchase one for next time. There's a ton of different options here for open play - a basketball court with a smaller hoop that toddlers can reach, ping pong table, a room full of various sized swingsets, and 2 large trampolines. We were here for 2 hours and my daughter didn't want to leave ! She had so much fun and it was fun watching her. It's perfect for the winter months when you want an indoor play option and your child is feeling cooped up. They have a party room that can be used if the store is rented out. There is also a small lobby area and that's the only area where food and drink is allowed. Definitely bring snacks to eat there because your kids will get hungry! Plenty of bathrooms too - I think I counted 3 - so it's easy to wash those germs off. We will definitely be coming back.
