Joe stepped in, fixed some things the previous contractor had screwed up, and finished the bathroom just in time for us to be able to celebrate Thanksgiving with the family visiting. The second time was similar. We had a water line break and it damaged the entire bathroom in the master bedroom. We were displaced from our bedroom and the house was hazardous. Joe was already booked with other projects, but was able to rearrange some of his staff and was able to start fixing the house that very day. Three weeks later, we had a beautiful bathroom. We hadn't anticipated doing another bathroom remodel, and certainly hadn't budgeted for it. Joe's price was very fair, considering the emergency nature of the project and the fact that he had to have people on overtime to help complete the job. I highly recommend JM Construction. We got in touch with Dillon and explained. He understood, asked some questions, made some recommendations, and came back to us with a detailed quote. We were surprised with the price, it was reasonable and under what we expected to pay. He sent over a contract which included the estimated time to complete the work. 10-12 working days. Eric was assigned as our project manager for the project, and Jaime was the lead foreman. They were phenomenal as was the entire crew that did the work. They cleaned up at the end of every day, and made sure we had a safe way to enter/exit our home. They were friendly and kept us in the loop the whole time. During their work, we decided that we wanted to replace the front yard fence, and after letting them know, they completely replaced the fence the next day. They did all the work with the city to get the necessary approvals for the curb work, as well as handled all the work with the utility companies to make sure their work didn't damage anything underground. The result is great, and we love how it turned out. It's better than what we wanted, and they managed to do it all within the original quoted time AND at the original quoted price (excluding the change order for the fence replacement).

Phillip can do all construction but also has the expertise to do some high quality staircase work. I found him easy to work with and very reliable. He milled all of the staircase components out of salvaged, first growth redwood timbers from a 100 year old bridge near Yosemite (provided by Steve Jackel of Jackel Enterprises in Watsonville). Very precise millwork and excellent craftsmanship that is getting hard to find as the old-timers retire. I highly recommend Phill for your carpentry needs.
