I take all my bedding to Carousel to be laundered. With four pets sleeping in my bed, it's a miracle that I never find a speck of fur when my sheets come back clean, smelling great, and very neatly folded. Further, the prices are extremely fair. I spent a couple of hours there in the last week doing laundry. Washers and dryers were clean and worked well. There were very few out of order signs . Prices are reasonable. The change machine works well in giving me quarters. The attendant was friendly and helpful. Other customers seemed relaxed to be here. It's well lit and feels pretty safe. read more

Excellent service. I just started using them my other laundromat sold their business and no long will do drop off laundry, which has been a blessing. They did a great job with my towels and sheets. I spoke with Jodi on the phone before taking my clothes in to be dropped off. I explained to her about my allergies and that I would have some things to request about my clothes. She said that was fine. When I got there, immediately a nasty woman was there and had an attitude. I started to explain what I needed, and she talked loudly and said " I've been doing clothes for 40 years and I know how to wash clothes." I tried to get my desires out and she stopped me in my tracks. I told her I spoke with Jodi and she told me ---She interrupted me and said loudly I'M NOT JODI!" Wow! This has been about 4 places that were rude to me and wanted me to be quiet because they didn't want to do something different. For a customer!! Then on top of that another patron butted in and verbally attacked me! I left that place so fast. I can't understand how people can treat customers so badly. If you want anything different than the way this particular woman wants to do it, go to Jodi. Otherwise, don't go there. Unfortunately, Jodi had gone when I got there. read more

I took my down comforter there and the attendant lady was super helpful! Tell me which one to use for the size of my comforter and which dryer would be the best accommodating as well. She even put my quarters in the machine! They have these handy little cups from the detergent bottles so when you make change you could put all your quarters in the those...What a wonderful idea. (Now I keep one in the cupholder of my car for loose change it works wonders) I will definitely go there again to clean any large items that I may have but they also have the standard machines in case someone needs those as well. read more

I have used carousel every since my divorce. That was 6 years ago. They have been one of the nicest services I have ever dealt with. I have asked for same day service and got it. Any thing I asked (within reason) they have always done. On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the highest) they are without question a strong 10! read more

Police had to be called in a co worker who had racist and hate language screamed out at me after I was about to give the 15 minutes left on my dryers to a black mom with kids...who ran out if quarters...and the other with 10 minutes to a us postal worker who was trying to dry her uniforms. I was screamed at by this 4 foot tall racist co"owner" as she stated...(she actually owns nothing)and wanted to give my dryer to a white woman...screamed at me to leave...that I didn't own the dryers and to get "he f#*k out of the place" I gave my dryers to the mom and postal worker any way...my quarters still had time left. I was escorted out with racist hate among with her flipping us off...taking pictures of my Missouri car plates and she /he then started threatening the 2 black labs in our car. Threatening to call animal control and telling them I was abusing them and to have them taken away...WOW! Racist co workers...threatening employees..CIRCLING AROUND MY CAR....the Louisville police had to be called. I posted photos and could not believe that businesses with "owners" employees like this still existed....let alone were tolerated... I hope not for long. Shut this place down...or at least dump that 4 foot tall racist person...she/he belongs in the unemployment line....in another country. Away from civilization. She will ultimately be the reason you go broke. St Louis visitors have no toleration for racist threats against them...their vehicles...their pets. Period. I don't think the owners or the manager on duty understands the scope of this damage in front if 30 people....half who were African American.... Wow. read more

I absolutely love carousel laundry. They do such a great job on all of my down comforters! If you are looking for a place that will take very good care of your items and they won't lose them, no matter how long it takes you to go back to get them- they will still be there! I dropped my comforter off probably in March and I can't ever remember to get there during business hours and today they gave me a reminder phone call and that was so helpful! I am on my way to get my latest comforter! Highly recommend carousel laundry! read more

This is the best Laundromat in all of Louisville, hands down. My reasons for saying this are as follows: -the staff of this business are so helpful and kind, any questions on how to do laundry or get a stain out and they will help! -this place is so clean, they are always on top of making sure the floors and machines are tidy and help to make sure all machines are in working order! -it's in a great location, and has pretty open hours! I used to visit this laundromat back in the 90's when I lived nearby & it was great then. I recently dropped off 2 alternative down comforters for them to wash & dry. I was so impressed at how clean it still was, that they had newer & nicer machines & I can't say enough about how helpful, nice & friendly the staff were on each visit. I took one of them one day & took the second one a few days later. Each time I saw a different lady. Both were very nice & helpful. Very happy to see that they are still the best laundromat in town! Worth the extra drive to use them instead of one I used closer to me (I forgot about Carousel at that time). read more

Clean machines that are up to date. This place has really nice hot dryers that dry fast but have melted a few of my shirts. So be careful. I'll totally keep coming to this laundry met. read more

While in Louisville for a convention, mid way through a 2+week adventure, we were going to need a wash-dry-fold. Somehow I googled and found decent reviews of this place. I called the day before we arrived to find out their hours. They open at 8. We were a few minutes early as we weren't sure how long it would take to get there. The boss arrived and started bringing in stuff. Later, after 8 the employee arrived and began telling the boss that someday she would be on time. So I gave them a minute to get in, then I went in. I had all of our dirty clothes in a duffle bag and dropped them off. (I was wearing a blue company polo and khakis...but the owner asked if I worked for UPS. ?????? um...no) They would be ready at 1. great. I got there around 4 or 5 and there was a new girl there. I stood at the counter for 3 or 4 minutes waiting to be acknowledged as she was folding clothes. Finally, I said "hi I'm here to pick up some wash/dry/fold" I gave her the name. She asked me two other names--not EVEN kinda close. and I said no...and that's my pink duffle there WITH OUR NAME ON IT. (TWICE) oy. FINALLY she says...oh here it is. No s*** sherlock:) I paid and asked for a receipt, she says oh it's in the bag. ok great. I got out to the van and discovered that the receipt was indeed the claim check and didn't have the price on it. But...I was done with dumb people by then. However, I will say. The laundry was well cleaned, well folded and all the polo shirts/jeans were on hangers. So...they can do laundry...don't expect much more;-) read more
