The cookies and cream Oreo slice was far better, which was mildly concerning that a cookie shoppe traditionally known for their "viral" cookies had failed so bad at cookies it was actually their CAKE that was the thing worth writing home about my experience. It is such a viral spot everyone is coming here for the experience to see a spot that a proper sickly Victorian-era child ghost could haunt. But smart customers get the cake, not the cookies. When you get the cake slice, verify that you have plastic cutlery and napkin before leaving the store, otherwise you are going to need to Kirby-inhale it. This turned into a partnership between Joffrey's and Disney that started out with a single coffee kiosk/test location at Typhoon Lagoon. The coffee was a big hit and Joffrey's soon expanded to over 20 kiosks located all over Walt Disney World. In 2012, Joffrey's became the official coffee brand of Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland, and the Disney Vacation Club. In addition to the various coffee kiosks, Joffrey's has a brick & mortar flagship location at Disney Springs. My family and I visited the Joffrey's flagship location at Disney Springs this past summer while we were on a Walt Disney World Vacation. While I can order Joffrey's coffee online and sometimes find it in various grocery stores, you can find the best selection by going straight to the source. The place smelled amazing when I walked in! They have so many coffee flavors that are themed around Disney characters, as well as Disney properties like "Star Wars" and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I picked out quite a few varieties to take back home with me, including "Hundred Acre Wood Hunny Brew" (vanilla, honey), "Banana Bonanza" (brown sugar, banana), "Neighborhood Hero Brew" (crumb cake, cinnamon streusel), and "Space Ranger Brew" (vanilla gelato, espresso). I was also excited to see that they had some Halloween varieties available. I grabbed the "Disney Villains Trio" collection which includes "Have a Bite Brew" (apple, caramel, cinnamon), "Sea Witch Brew" (caramelized sugar, vanilla, dark chocolate), and "Dragon Roast Brew" (pecan, caramel, vanilla). I also enjoyed Joffrey's coffee several times throughout my whole stay at Disney World. They had a lot of different themed blends with really nice packaging, and honestly I wanted to buy more, but it's hard to justify grabbing multiple bags at that price when you don't know if you'll actually like them. One thing I noticed was that the coffee was only available pre-ground in store, with no whole bean option. I asked one of the employees and they confirmed that whole bean coffee is only available online. I brewed this in a French press. The bag mentions notes of apple, caramel, and cinnamon. I could definitely smell it while drinking the coffee, especially the apple and cinnamon, but I didn't really taste them all that much in the actual coffee. However, it was very easy to drink. This was much lighter than the coffees I normally drink, with almost no bitterness. Nothing fancy, just a smooth cup of coffee that was enjoyable to drink black. One thing I wish Joffrey's offered was a way to try the coffees before committing to a bag. With so many different blends, it would be nice if they had sample jars of the grounds to smell, small tasting samples, or even brewed versions of the specialty blends available to order. Instead, they only had a limited selection of roasts and teas available for take out. A lot of the bags sound interesting, but you're mostly buying based on the description and hoping for the best. Overall, I enjoyed this one and would consider picking up another bag on a future Disney trip. The next blends I'd be interested in trying are Snow White's Just One Bite, Daisy Duck Lavender, and Tiana's Bayou Beignet.
