BUT, my husband and I recently took a trip to Paris and I also love pain aux raisins. To our delight, Cafe Bilboquet has those too, so my friend and I each had a small coffee and a pain aux raisins. The pastry was as good as any that my husband and I had in Paris! I've also had lunch here with a couple of other friends in recent months. They have a good variety of pretty authentic French sandwiches and some quiches, eggs, etc. Not inexpensive, but the food is top-notch. You order at the counter, then move up to the cashier, tell them what your order is and pay for it. If you're lucky, as we were around 9:45 this morning, you'll get one of the little round tables where you can sit and chat and relax; in good weather there are some tables outside as well; a lovely boulangerie or patisserie experience!

I had the Iced Latte with oat milk, no ice, and no sugar, which was amazing! It was also gluten free, dairy free, and soy free, which is a big plus for me. Just note that restrooms are for customers only. I would definitely come back if I'm in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan.

Wow! This jewel of a place was found by narrowing down to one $ and close by. As a group of 7 we had the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant and the classic egg sandwich. Yum! Carols Cafe is one of a kind. It is located in a small park next to Sutton Place Synagogue. The prices are amazing and the food is cooked to order. She serves breakfast all day and has an extensive menu. The food is great and the desire to make sure that you are satisfied with everything makes Carol's a special place. read more

Located in Greenacre Park right around the left corner when you enter is the hole in the wall "Carols Cafe" with an assortment of brunch items from French toast to subs. Their smoothies are refreshing and the atmosphere makes you want more. Highly recommend if your in the neighborhood. read more
