Overall, I'd say the service is pretty great. I came into the front of the building to the clearance section, was getting some basic work shirts, and then worked my way to the back, looking at some insulated coveralls coming for the winter season. The owner was very helpful. I asked for some assistance in getting sized properly, and he was bringing out sizes to tell me how sizing works. It was very helpful through the entire thing. I highly recommend. read more

This location is right off of 95 and easy to get to and park. It looks like an outlet store and it may be.. i am not sure. But they have a large Carhart collection. I was suprised by the amount that was in this store. They have other well known brands as well. If you are looking for Carhart this is a great place to look. read more

We have passed by this store so many times over the years. I decided to finally stop in last year on one of our trips up north to browse their Carhart collection. I was a huge tomboy as a teenager and used to wear so much Carhart stuff. I was hoping to find some items similar to what I had growing up. I actually stopped in again twice on a trip this year, heading from and to FL. All the times I visited, I was greeted immediately upon entering the store. The staff is attentive and polite. I looked through all the Carhart items and unfortunately did not find anything I was looking for. Then I found some sweatshirts that were on sale that felt super comfortable and decided to purchase one. OMG I wore this thing so much until the sauna heat appeared in FL! I never heard of the label but it is Southern Fried Cotton. My second visit was just to purchase more of those sweatshirts! Lucky me, they were on sale this time! I purchased 3! I was so happy that when I was visiting my parents, I told my mom, and then she was interested. Unfortunately when I went back, they did not have any in her size or the same style as the original I purchased, that she liked. The store is large but very packed with clothing, accessories, and shoes. I definitely would not call or compare this to an outlet because the prices are higher here than at the outlets. They also have a membership program, where you can build points to get rewards. Unfortunately, I signed up my second visit so I missed out on my first purchase. read more

Great value but lacks customer service. First time in no one said hello, asked if we needed help was nothing thats okay. Prices seemed good

Great place to find whatever clothing or shoes you are looking for. They were quick to tell us about sales that were going on as we came in. Great prices on items. read more

I will never spend another dime in this location! We have spent a lot of money over the years. Not only have we put up with their behavior of following you around all these years but after being on the rewards program punch card over the years, it was time for us to cash in. They came up with some cock and bull crazy story that the first punch when u got the card was not valid because it was already punched. Yeah and...?? Of coarse it's already punched I made a purchase and started the rewards punch card!!! But no, I would have to make another purchase. I left NEVER to be back again!!! read more

I was greeted by two older women that offered assistance and pointed out some specials. The place is packed wall to wall with shirts, pants and other junk. It was difficult to move around in between all the racks; I had the feeling I just walked into some second hand store with crap all over the place. I give them credit for packing in so much stuff into a relatively small space. The hwy signage and large awning entice you to visit expecting some huge outlet store. The prices are decent and appear to be about 25% or so below retail on most items. I did not find anything I needed and frankly did not feel like spending an hour wading through the racks of name and off-brand shirts. read more

I will never shop here again walked in and my fiancé asked if there was a bathroom to change our 8 month old daughter and they wouldn't let us use it. I can't believe that considering the amount of money we have spent there and the couple of hundred we would have spent today. We will NEVER BE BACK... read more

This place is great. The customer service is awesome. If you have any questions about anything, they will do their best to answer them. I will definitely be back in the near future. Very friendly and welcoming staff. read more

Went in looking work gear for my husband, staff was very friendly. The "older" ladies did a great job helping me find the correct stuff. Prices were competitive and husband was happy!! Will definitely go back! read more

Very disappointed in their customer service. Purchased two nice shirts at reasonable prices as Christmas gifts for my son. After finding out my son needed XL INSTEAD OF large. Brought back to store and asked to exchange for XL. Young man behind counter said nothing he could do as tags were removed. The little plastic keepers were still in the shirt tags as I had removed the price tags because the stickers would not come of the tags. I am sure they could be retagged and sold. Oh well, learned what seperates the good customer service oriented businesses from those who just want the one time sell. In the end 30.00 worth of t shirts has cost them our business and the many out of town visitors we would have loved to bring there. Shame on you Carolina Apparel! read more

Great selection of shirts and hats. Terrible checkout customer service! Won't waste our money here again!

I walked in to tons of Carhartt jackets and a warm greeting, but quickly I decided that this place was not getting my money. I found a jacket that I really did like and I tried it on and when I walked back to put it on the rack I noticed one of the older ladies staring me down from a distance. And she continued staring me down as I continued to look at their inventory. I then tested to see if they thought I was shop lifting by walking into the corner out of her vision and one of the other employees came sprinting around the corner and pretended to do something until I walked back into view of the older lady. It made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. Also, while I was in there I price matched to see if any of their items were on sale, they were not. They were the same prices as the Carhartt website. Normally I would support a small business and purchase from them instead of a major retailer, but these people treat you very poorly so I chose not too. read more

I just came from Carolina apparel I was getting ready to buy over 200 in merchandise including a carhartt jacket. They did not have the color I wanted so I was searching online to see if I could find the color I wanted. The store manager very rudely came up to me and assumed I was shopping for cheaper prices. Needless to say left everything on the counter and left. Terrible customer service!!! read more

Great store very helpful and I highly recommend this store for all your apparel needs.

Came to the store while driving down 95 many years ago. I'm very glad I did as they have a great selection and prices. Over the years I've called them to get some hard to find Carhatt. They always came through and shipped quickly. I also like that when you call them a real person picks up! read more

I just went to this store for the first and last time. I will say that some of their prices on clothes are good. I was greeted immediately upon entering the store because the mature women that work in there operate like used car salesman. Also the seem to monitor you constantly as if you're going to steal something. Whatever I considered buying was quickly forgotten as I decided that this is not the way I like to be treated. read more

I stop here every time I'm in the area visiting friends. There's always a good deal to find, and the staff is consistently helpful and accommodating. I love this store! read more

I was looking forward to stopping by on our trip home from VA, but after being stalked by the little old ladies the minute we walked in the door, I felt very uncomfortable. About 15 min in, and an armful of shirts so far, realized after the long drive, we should've gone to the restroom first. When asking one of the ladies about using their restroom , I was told I would have to go up to the gas station or the restaurant down the road. With making $150 purchase I would think I would be able to, as a customer, use their restroom out of courtesy. If I was not with other people purchasing as well, I would've just left our items and gone DeWayne's instead! While I was in the store I priced checked mountain khaki pants which were exactly the same price as I can get at home and mountain khaki shorts which were only $5 cheaper. It was really not worth any of the savings they say they offer. I will not return on my next trip. read more

The only reason I would give any stars is because of the sweet little lady on the floor and the young lady at the front register, but the jerk up at the register sealed the deal and I don't plan to return. They have a huge selection and I prefer shopping with local folks but don't plan to shop there anymore- read more
