Her prices were competitive and the samples on her website looked great. First, I called and left messages by phone with no luck. Finally, I emailed her hoping that would work. I got a very late response, but she did respond. She told me that she had been on vacation and that she would be calling me later on that day. Okay, understandable, although she probably should have left a notice on her website. I would have just gone ahead and called her back at that point, but honestly I wanted to see if she would follow through and get in touch with me like she promised. When she didn't, my time frame was way smaller and I got the impression that I couldn't depend on her, so I moved on and hired someone else.

I had Inja do the calligraphy for our wedding invitations...she sent me a price sheet and several styles of calligraphy that she could do. She was also very flexible in modifying the calligraphy style I had chosen with an extra "flourish" to complement the script on our invites and for a small nominal fee, matched the calligraphy ink color to the invitation ink color (dark, dark brown). She can even add shimmer to the ink! I met her on a Thursday night after work, handed her 125 envelopes and an address list. Met her the following Thursday after work and she handed back to me envelopes adorned with the most exquisite calligraphy. I couldn't be happier. Seamless and professional. And we are definitely going to have her do the menus and the place cards. :-)
