My daughters are now in their late 30's and early 40's and without her support and love they might have turned out much differently. I'm happy to say she was part of our village for at least 25 years and even though we are no longer living in Texas, with her are some of my most memorable Tx moments. I truly love her. We all do.

I have nothing but great things to say about Patty, her birth center and her team of assistants…read more My baby was born just a couple of weeks ago and while it was LABOR and hard, I felt completely confident in Patty and her team. I decided awhile back that I wanted a natural, unmedicated childbirth and be in an environment that promoted natural solutions. I went around to 3 other birth centers in the Houston area and Patty's birth center was the last one I went to. I instantly knew she would be my midwife and that I wanted to birth my baby at her center. She was easy to talk to and was very honest with her answers. In my pre natal appointments, I never felt rushed and she took the time to talk to me and make me feel confident in the birthing process. Fast forward to my birth, I contacted Patty as soon as I started having contractions and she kept in touch with me while I labored at home. When it came time to go to the birth center, she was there with her entire team ready for me- I felt completely safe with her. Having a natural, unmedicated birth is not always the easiest and I hit a couple of rough patches and Patty was right there encouraging me and talking me through. I got a little angry at some points because of the pain and Patty remained completely professional, even when I was not always pleasant :) When I finally delivered my baby, I was overwhelmed with emotions and so thankful for Patty and her team for getting me through the process. I am a firm believer that the birthing process should be left in the hands of the mother (whose body was made to do this process) and a team like Patty's that allows you to go through it without unnecessary interventions. If you are on the search for a Midwife, please go meet Patty and I am sure that you will agree that she truly is a gem.

I had two babies with Patti and she's everything I want in a midwife…read more My first child was born at another birthing center and the midwife let me sit through hours of labor unassisted. During my second pregnancy I switched over to Patti around six months after I felt an immediate connection with her. By the end of the pregnancy I felt like a friend. She takes the journey at your side, offering advice as needed and listening to your concerns. One of the great things about going to her office is the other moms you get to meet and interact with. It becomes something you look forward to. I would even visit after my baby was born just so I could be at the birth center. When I became pregnant the third time Patti was one of the first people I told! We both agreed a home birth would be ideal for me and when labor started she immediately left a party she was hosting to be at my side. I know first-hand Patti is responsible and diligent about women's healthcare. While my pregnancies and deliveries were "easy" I knew several others who weren't so lucky. She was able to recognize the signs and transfer them to the hospital for C-sections as needed.

Was trying to ask if I could send you a copy of my card in case you have the wrong name in your system or in case you made a mistake in giving my name to the insurance company. Instead you were rude and insisted that I call my insurance company to get this straightened out. It would be different if you were looking at my card and looking at the information submitted to Cigna and it matched but again, you don't hand my card and are so sure that the mistake couldn't possibly be on your end because no one there would ever make a mistake that you won't even let me help you verify that by sending my card.
