We went to Dr Storey when our primary GP was on vacation…read more This was mentioned to her on bringing her up to speed on our history. To cut a long story short, Dr Storey was informed about the history of the condition, the current level of pain being experienced and she stood there with folded arms saying 'well if this is what you have, I can't do anything for you'. She failed to properly examine her patient, she showed complete lack of empathy and even accused her patient of running around seeking random doctors to fill a prescription and that we should be seeing our Primary GP (who we mentioned was away on holiday which was the reason why we were there). Not once did she show care in her tone, and stood there the whole time in a lecturing disapproving stance. In fact it was SO bad, the patient had a breakdown in her visitation room she was that distraught and in pain combined with the complete lack of care by this doctor. We went back to PAMF and told them what had happened, they took us to Urgent Care and then ER, it was a life threatening condition and required hospitalization!! Dr Storey didn't pick up on this, she didn't even bother to examine her patient. She didn't recommend going to urgent care. I would never return to see this doctor, nor recommend her to any of my friends or family. I had to share this, and a medical enquiry on her behavior should follow. I am sorry I didn't share this earlier. FOLLOWUP - Medical Board of California Complaint Submitted.

She tested for strep, it wasn't, so she told me to salt water gargle and take an advil. 24 hours of severe pain later I went back, but not to her but to an ENT at the main campus in Palo Alto, she was really worried about my throat and did some deep tests, gave me antibiotics, steriods & vicodin. I asked Dr Storey about steriods and she said she didn't think I needed them.

I was referred to this office by the hospital as a primary care option after an ER visit. When I…read morecalled to establish care, I was told there is a required $2,500 annual membership fee in order to become a patient. While I understand some practices operate under a concierge or membership-based model, I wish this had been made clear upfront before being listed as a primary care referral. For patients coming out of the hospital and trying to quickly arrange follow-up care, finding out there is a required yearly fee is frustrating and creates an unnecessary barrier to access. This may work for people specifically looking for concierge medicine, but it was not appropriate for someone simply trying to find a standard in-network primary care provider after a hospital visit.

I was in Mexico and needed to be hospitalized. I wrote down everything they put in my body just in case. When I came home, I went straight to her and to my surprise, she was fluent in Spanish as well! She also listens. I was sluggish, tired, and had no energy. She kept hinting at depression, but I told her I would consider that if we could do all the blood tests to make sure there isnt anything else wrong with me. She not only was able to find out what was wrong with me, but we worked on a plan to get my numbers back in range. Also, she asks if I'm sticking to my regimen every follow up.

What an idiot. who let this man be a doctor? Stubborn willful ignorance is the best way to describe…read morehis approach. He should educate himself, but to call him an "expert" by any means is utterly laughable. He even brought up the notion that there are these large groups and organizations in this very area (and maybe a reason 1/4 cases all in bay area, I don't know I'm not the infectious disease specialist) that are advocating for a condition that he still refuses to believe is real. The level of disillusion is just baffling, and his knowledge about the subject, that he is literally by definition supposed to be the expert of, is simply wrong and outdated. I felt like I was talking to a flat earthier who was also somehow an engineer at Nasa. i would really choose any other doctor if you actually want any help. Also he should go tell the millions of people in this country suffering from chronic Lyme because of bad doctoes that wont help, that chronic Lyme doesn't exist. That after 10 days of treatment they're cured, despite the tremendous amount of scientific data coming out in just the past 10 years saying the exact opposite. Just baffling.
