I moved to California from the Northeast USA in late 2018. I had a previous diagnosis of AFib, but had never had significant symptoms that I detected. I wanted to develop a new health care team here in California. My new primary Care doc referred me to Doctor Scott over a year ago. He diagnosed my condition after extensive testing including a consult on heart electrical physiology to one of his colleagues. He is thorough and thoughtful and knowledgeable. I know I am in expert hands! He has training in Medicine at Harvard and a PhD from MIT, he has multiple patents on heart devices. I know he is the person to manage my health and my heart health care and if I ever need more, he is a skilled surgeon. I have more confidence in him than any other doctor I have ever seen. He analysis's my condition and makes recommendations based on research information that he shares with me. That treatment is more sophisticated than any previous work I have had done by my PCP or heart doctor. I am glad to have him as my doctor and recommend him unconditionally for anyone seeking a cardiologist.

He is without a doubt THE BEST general practitioner we have ever had. His nursing staff is outstanding (love Leilani!)--always attentive, friendly and organized. Dr. Kochhar exemplifies all the qualities a person who has chosen the medical profession should embody. Our family is so lucky to have him as our doctor.

Have some compassion lady!! I'm in the hospital, I'm on medication, Where is your caring and bedside manner? Maybe she should retire! Especially if you are in the hospital! (El Camino most likely) She also put incorrect false information on my medical record! I don't know where it came from, she was WRONg!!! Having been repeatedly failed by the quality of care given by "medical professionals" over the past…read more20 years I was skeptical when my girlfriend recommended One Medical for my annual check-up and was preparing myself for yet another disappointment. Within minutes I was greeted by Dr. Paul Lindenfeld with a handshake, a look in the eye and a smile (both rare in the business in my experience). In the examination room, Dr Lindenfeld actively listened to my over 20 minutes of medical concerns and history (only occasionally making notes) without interruption. The irony being that just the night before I had read a study providing extensive criticism about the current state of the health care system. Some key points included that the average lag time until securing an actual appointment was 21 days. The average length of time waiting in the office was just under 2 hours. The average time actually spent with the physician being only 8 minutes...during which he/she will interrupt the patient every 12 seconds. This couldn't be further from the truth with Dr Lindenfeld. He spent nearly an hour with me, never interrupted me or "spoke down" to me and insured all my concerns were addressed. Within 5 minutes I was confident that I was in the best hands and had found a new practice for years to come.

I didn't have to wait long, and was glad they told me of the website to fill out my new patient forms beforehand. the facility is quite large and welcoming. the nurse and Dr. Kishiyama seemed understanding when I said I didn't want to take any tests at the time since I was in a high deductible plan, meaning everything would be out of pocket for me. I had my list of my allergy history and symptoms for Dr. Kishiyama so I wouldn't forget a thing. I'm sure it was overwhelming, but he took it all in, and did the usual check up on me and asked me questions about my history and current allergy situation. He seems like a no-nonsense, no BS kind of guy, which is good although I was intimidated at times. :) he explained everything thoroughly and how to help prevent my future allergy/hives attacks. he gave me samples of a nose spray and eye drops yesterday, along with a prescription, and i feel like im back to myself. as soon as i used the nose spray, i could finally breathe and slept well for the first time in weeks!

I could not emphasise enough of the astonishing care that is given by Dr. Murthy and his staff. Amber- (part of his staff)- is very friendly and takes the time to explain procedures, the tests that will be performed, and what to expect. I love her. I always feel well taken care of during my appointments. Dr. Murthy is very meticulous about his diagnosis and thinks out loud. I can appreciate that. He includes you in his thought process. He types up his thoughts and notes on your prognosis to your file in your presence. I have developed pleurisy twice now in just the past few months. He shows great concern and monitors me closely, communicates with my cardiologist , and takes the necessary precautions to be proactive. I have pulmonary hypertension, accompanied by Lupus and other ailments. I feel that I am under great care. I could not express enough gratitude for Dr. Murthy and his entire staff. This office also operates South County Sleep Clinic. I did an over night observation 5 yrs. ago. THE BEST night's sleep I have ever had! HAHA!! Found out that I have sleep apnea. I feel truly blessed to have Dr. Murthy as my pulmonologist. Lucky to have Dr. Murthy on my team. Hands down! The best! Dr. Salfen retired and luckily I returned to Dr. Murthy..haha! I love that he converses with my other doctors as a team to investigate my situation. My Lupus issues falls in line into my cardiologist (Dr. Madala) and then Dr. Murthy. They put their brilliant minds together to come to an outcome and solution. It definitely feels like a team.
