You will wait a very long time for an appointment  and then find out that the first appointment is…read morestrictly a phone appointment.  He will order an absurd amount of blood tests - 17 vials!  - so be prepared.  I went for treatment of severe fibromyalgia because he is supposed to be such a specialist.  He told me I also had rheumatoid arthritis and started me on  treatments for it.  Even though I told him these treatments were not helping me at all and begged him to treat my  fibro, he would just lecture me about his "plan" and how he knew what he was doing.  I tried to tell him about the awful pain I had in my hips and he literally waived his hand at me and said it was my back (I do have a bad disc).  I just found out (from another doctor) that an MRI showed I have bursitis  in my hips.  I am now receiving treatment for my fibro from another doctor  and am feeling much better - that was a complete waste of 4 months of my life. One time he was checking my reflexes and when he did my hand he said, "Well if your knee was bad, your hand is dead" and laughed.

I was finally able to get myself to go after the emotional distress it has been causing me. The nurse asked me why I was there and I told her pelvic pain and can't even put a tampon inside of me. She just asked me if I was sexually active and I told her I have tried to do it a couple times, but we couldn't even get it in because it was way too painful. She told me she wanted to do a chlamydia test. I told her I definitely don't have chlamydia (I cant even stick a tampon in never mind a p*nis). She told me I had to do it and gave me no choice or say. Practically FORCED me. She just told me to lay down. Did not consult with me or ask me ANYTHING about my history. She tried to stick something in to swab me, but I was tensing up a lot (which was literally the main reason why I came into her office to begin with. She would have known this if she took even a second to talk to me about it). She tried for about 2 minutes or so and got up angrily and said "I'm not gonna be here all morning trying to do this. You're never gonna be able to have s*x like this". I was already crying at this point because she gave me no choice in what she is doing to me, which felt SO TRAUMATIZING and INVASIVE. She left me in the room, bawling my eyes out (she saw me crying), and then I heard her in the hallway talking to the nurses saying "I don't have all morning to waste on her. She didnt even let me put it in." This was by far the worst doctor I have ever been to.

I wasted time and money seeing multiple doctors, chiropractors, acupuncturist and even spent over 15K at Spinatomy in Van Nuys for my lower back and not ONE helped me with my pain. After I met with Dr. Glaser I knew I was in great hands. I explained to him what I was feeling and what would trigger my pain. He did an exam and immediately knew where the pain was coming from and what needed to be done. IT WAS MY NERVES! He advised for me to get 2 Medial Branch Blocks and if they were both successful then a Radiofrequency Ablation would need to be performed. I did all 3 and I feel amazing! I can say he is one of the few doctors that I trust with my medical care and that I would highly recommend to my family and friends or anyone seeking pain management. He hasn't gotten rid of me though because now I am starting migraine treatment with him. The office is beautiful. The moment you walk in you are greeted by the wonderful ladies at front desk.
