Great place to karaoke with others! This is one of my go-to places and it never disappoints. The service is nice and the song selection is very diverse in both korean and english songs. There is a ton of modern english songs that is always being updated which is so amazing. At first I was slightly concerned because both my friend and I were under 21, but the process was extremely accommodating and it was a great time. If you are under 21 I highly recommend getting there early. I highly recommend this place to people who have gone to karaoke before and know the process, as knowing ahead of time what to expect made the entire night so much better! 10/10 will be coming back! Karaoke here is so much fun! I love that there's private rooms for each party, so you can sing your heart out and it's not on stage in front of strangers. I reserved the XL room for a group of 20 of us. It was a $65 deposit over the phone. When we arrived the room was ready and waiting for us. It was a spacious room with booths and chairs for seating. Plus a center table to hold our drinks and snacks. They have a variety of drinks and snacks on their menu, they are reasonably priced. I enjoyed the blended cafe mocha drink, i think it tastes better than the mocha frap from Starbucks. The XL room was $65 per hour. There were many songs to choose from in different languages. We loved our 70's/80's rock songs plus the 90s pop. When we went in December 2025, the song book was last updated in 2024. However, there were so many songs to choose from. We definitely couldn't sing them all. Parking is a private lot that's free and plentiful. So this a huge plus compared to karaoke in k town. Overall, extremely fun to do karaoke here. I was impressed! I was here last night, trying out karaoke for the first time. The night started, with my group getting a good sized room. My friend has connections with this place, which made a massive difference. The strawberry slush was very good, and so was their pineapple soju. I have never been to a Karaoke room place before and it was pretty awesome especially that it's located here in the valley! We were having a meetup with friends we haven't seen in a while and we thought we were going to karaoke and then go somewhere to eat, but no we did not ever go somewhere to eat because we basically karaoke'd until closing time LOL. Service is great, you order at the enterance area and then they bring what you've ordered in. We ordered Dumplings and one of our party has allergies so we asked what is in them, and it turns out they are vegetarian! They are really good, I honestly thought it was meat inside. My friend was able to eat them and we even ordered a second order of them. The Soju tastes so good, we tried two different flavors and Peach won hands down. The rooms are also very spacious, when we first arrived they actually put our small party into the largest room that can fit 20 people, and we had fun karaoke in there, and then when a smaller room opened up they put us in there, and the room still felt spacious! It's Karaoke time! Back in the day, we use to drive to Korea Town to sing our hearts out. Glad there is one in the valley where there are private rooms. Met up with my cousins here and we had a blast. However the room we were in was not big enough for party of 8. Each room only has 2 mics. I do like that the mics has a disposable covering over it. You get 2 large song books. You enter the code on a key pad and it comes on the large screen. You can order food and drinks at the front. A bit expensive but we all had a good time. Korean Karaoke is the way to go!!! Our group of friends always avoids karaoke bars because...we hate listening to people singing off key. But this was so much better and a blast. David was at the front desk running everything and helped us get oriented. We ordered food and drinks and headed into a large room. We got the meatballs ( sooooo good) the dumplings (very satisfying) and the dry snacks ( we're okay) we also got a bottle of Strawberry Soju (delicious) but didn't seem to contain much alcohol. While you sing the screen shows some random K-pop music videos that don't match the songs but are very funny when out together. We will definitely be back! I really wanted to like this place because it is one of the only karaoke rooms on the west side. We went this past weekend for my friend's bday and the lady in front did not smile and just had an overall poor attitude. She didn't explain how to use anything in the room therefore making us figure it out during our timed experience. Price is based on room size per hr. since we had 3 of us we had a small room $35/hr. They have food and alcohol at the business and you can ring a doorbell for service. The soju was very strong and not great. We didn't order food. Asked for tap water because my throat was really dry from singing and they didn't have any to give. Isn't this illegal in California? Wanted to charge me for a waterbottle which i refused. We spent 2 hours total there. When she went to charge she wrote down a total without a breakdown. When I asked her how it was $10 more than what we calculated from prices on menu she couldn't answer it at first (how did she even come up w the number then?) and then said "tax" then she "realized" she charged me for the water I did not accept. The rooms are not soundproof so you can hear everyone else singing. I heard my friends from the front of the store to the back (bathroom) positives is there's a huge catalogue sorted by song name in alphabetical but wish there was a way they also categorized by artist. But when we came back for our spot to check in after an hour he said they were not taking anymore names because 12:30a was the cut off. Although the older gentlemen at the front makes you feel unwanted when checking in, the rest of the team checks up on you and gets there a quickly as they can when you do get a room. The service is friendly, the karaoke books are extensive and so are the acoustics. Mostly have done the VIP (XL) rooms that hold up to 20 people. It's per hour like most karaoke bars with private rooms and varies by group size as well as Weekdays vs Weekends/Holidays. Once you have a room secure/booked you enjoy those fab multicolor lights, mood lighting and can start inputting your songs with their remote - make sure your numbers match the song and artist and keep the rotation going with a full list of anybody and everyone in your party that wants to sing. You will get rated on your performance/vocals by their karaoke system which is part of the fun - getting a 100 is a little bit of a journey but it's possible lol Carnival serves some food here - mainly large appetizer platters (fried dumplings, dried snack, etc) - the fruit platter is my jam, with soju! You can enjoy non alcoholic beverages (coffee, tea, soft drinks/soda, water, slush, smoothies and even red bull), wine domestic beer or imported. So sad they took out their happy hour menu. My husband, cousin, and I used to come here for happy hour to practice/ try to aim for 100%. We had so much fun. We recently just went on a weekday, and it's pricey. $60 to 65 for an hour; depending on room size/amount of people. They haven't updated the song list/book. That day that we came the chairs were all wet and the carpet smelled. They said they just hired someone to clean the chairs and carpet that why it was wet. They def didn't let it dry out and our backs were wet. Love this place, but I wish the price wasn't so high and that they would allow outside drinks for the price you are paying to karaoke. They have a good song selection & provide microphone covers for sanitary purposes. They have soju and other drinks available for purchase. We got the lychee soju and it was $24. Overpriced and not very alcoholic but whatever. One thing, however, is that I believe we were over charged. At that point though it was already late and we were ready to leave. We waited until 12:20am when they told us they only have a large room ($50/h) available. The large room they put us in was small and looked like the medium room in other yelp photos. When we finished our hour and one bottle of flavored soju ($24) the total price came to $94. They said it was room + soju + tax + also an automatic 15 percent gratuity for large rooms. This seems like a scam since we did not want a large room to begin with and if they considered that a large room, then this is not the place you should go. Me and my friends came to Carnival Karaoke for a bday party and had sooo much fun! Our voices were gone by the end of the night after over 4 hours of singing. The song selection was really great and the rooms have a cool vibe- fun party lighting and such. I always love these private karaoke spots, and it's really nice to have one in the valley. The only negative to this place is the service (as you can tell by most of the reviews). It felt like they didn't want to be there, they didn't want us to be there, overall just really unwelcoming. Be prepared for that. Some notes: - You are charged by the hour but they will prorate by the minutes so if you are there for like 2 and a half hours you should only be charged the half not another full hour. Our group we got the large room at it was $50/hour. - You also have to go up to the counter to order drinks and food. We got beers and the Soju. Which was really good but didn't seem to be much alcohol in it. - They do not take reservations. - Do not bring in outside food or beverage, you will be charged $100 fee. - There are mic covers to keep nice and sanitary. - There's a free parking lot with lots of space. The place is nice and clean. Loved the private rooms. However, what distracts from the karaoke fun is the corny Korean interface with all the corny cringey videos playing over every song. It would be 100x better if the screen was just black with the lyrics or some sort of patterns swirling behind the lyrics. I don't even know where to start with how unbelievably awful this place was. The so called "service" was not just rude, they were outright disgusting. We were trying to enjoy ourselves, and this clown was walking around puffing smoke like we were in his personal ashtray. He acted like he owned the world, brushing us off, ignoring simple requests, and making us feel completely unwelcome. Fun spot and the best (and only) karaoke in the area I know of. The plaza have a pretty big parking lot and the karaoke spot is located in the corner of the plaza. It seems like they don't have much people on staff, so the service might not be so great. The hourly prices are decent and they have a selection of soju/ mixes to purchase while you sing your heart out. Carnival Karaoke is definitely a roller coaster of an experience. You walk into the little establishment and you're expecting a hello, or a nice greeting of some sort. You actually don't receive one, so you mosey around on your own and work out the kinks on your own. I love the prices at Carnival Karaoke. They have very decent prices for their rooms, and even have happy hour prices on weekends which was quite a shocker for me. They also offer drinks and snacks for you to eat or consume while you sing your heart out. The flavored soju was very mediocre, as I was expecting real fruit mixed with the soju, not just flavored sodas and soju mixed together... The room was another challenge, since you would have to figure out how to work the Korean karaoke device on your own. They have a few books with a fairly good variety of pop hits and wired microphones with fun disco lights. Good experience, but nothing to rave about! We had a great time at this place and were excited to come back, but I wanted to write this review to warn others, because I was overcharged. We paid $50 in advance for the deposit and were told it would come out of the final bill. I signed a receipt for the correct amount, but my card was charged a different amount- somehow MORE than $50 more. I'm trying to reach them now to get this worked out, but definitely double check your charges! Otherwise, it's fine. Very limited song lists unfortunately, but the food and drink is just fine for karaoke purposes and it's nice to have a spot where you can get a private room in the valley.
