I miss the Caputo's in Downers Grove and stop in this location when I am in the area. Great…read moreselection of fruits and vegetables. The baked goods and cookies are my favorite. My tip is to check the sales flyers, many products are on sale and you might not realize the savings!!

Since this location opened just a few blocks from our home, Caputo's quickly became our go-to…read moreneighborhood market. My husband shops there at least three times a week, which says a lot about how much we've relied on it over the years. We genuinely like this store, but lately we've noticed a decline in the quality of the produce. Things like tomatoes appearing shriveled or, at times, even moldy. It's disappointing, especially for a place we trust for everyday shopping. I also attempted to place an order for Easter dinner, something we've done many times in the past. Prices have increased quite a bit, so this year I decided to keep it simple and order just the lamb. The online system didn't allow me to select the date I needed, so I called for help. That's where things became frustrating. I spoke with Chef Jose, and communication was difficult. I asked if he spoke Spanish, since it's my native language and I thought it might help. His response felt dismissive, mentioning he speaks Italian and other things, but the interaction itself came across as borderline rude and unhelpful. That impression was later echoed by the front desk, who suggested I contact another chef. Chef Doug, on the other hand, was the complete opposite. Even though we played a bit of phone tag, he consistently followed up with a helpful and kind attitude, which I truly appreciated. Overall, this is still a market we want to love. It has been part of our routine and community. But between the recent produce issues and inconsistent customer service, it has been a bit disappointing compared to what it once was. I'm hopeful they find their way back to the quality and warmth that made them our favorite local market in the first place. BTW, one must place the order all the way to the paying screen to be able to select the desire pick up date.

Your typical Wal-Mart..weekends and around certain holidays it's always gonna be a bit more…read morecrowded. One huge positive to this store is a long-time employee named "Sonu". She has told us she has been here almost 20 years and she is always so friendly, talkative, helpful, and just very jovial. She says she loves her job and we always go to her line when we see her here and have many times just engaged in small talk with her. Employees like this are rare, so thank you to Sonu and I am sure various other great employees we just simply may not be aware of.

The overly popular mass merchant, smooth self checkout, smartly integrated app and payment options,…read morereal easy to use gift cards saved on my phone. I typically only end up here with gift cards because besides the random ten or so favorites like strawberry mushroom smoothies, produce is below average. Aldi gives better value and quality on all items. There's no b-grade produce here which is disturbing to see corporations happy to price gouge consumers and ruin farmers excess. So tragic this country has no curb or control on waste or efficiency, the same goes for business policies. Employee treatment remains too low for the massive income generated each year. Walmart selection and brand options are overwhelming without being that well priced. Ice cream is especially obnoxious to see how little five bucks gets now. Only Target makes everything here look fair.
