What a beautiful space! I came here to purchase some Apple products and didn't realize part of the library was turned into an Apple store. I was in awe as I walked in and around the different floors and areas. I love the seating areas for people to hang out, or attend one of the instructor led classes on their schedule.

It's such a beautiful space that offers tons of square footage for a two story wandering exhibit and also houses a private Washingtonian collection of prints and paintings for the DC Historical Society. This is found on the second level. I attended an event last night called Exposed DC that was a cocktail event / photography exhibition. It was their 10 year celebration of it founding. The building holds its original historic charm with modern amenities throughout with updates varying from different times throughout its 115 year existence. The basement I'd consider to be a more modern space whereas the main level and second level still hold its original grandeur. There are many rooms of varying sizes that's could be supported for all sorts of occasions. Bathrooms are on basement and second level with elevators being on both wings of the building to take you from point A to C. If you use the stairs -- take in the red carpet because when you're dressed up walking down it with its Victorian style railings guiding you -- you really feel like a celebrity. At least I did. Haha Carnegie offers event opportunities for all different events. My friend got married here and she loved it. I went to that and this event, and I really got to see the versatility of its space.

    The food was outstanding!

I had to give this place five stars. Why? It surpassed my expectations. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was top notch. The service was outstanding. I would give them 10 stars if I could on the service aspect. If you're planning event and are looking at the Carnegie library, you've made a great choice!

    Dignified!

What a great venue for fabulous events! And great location. Close to version center, china town, Metro,etc... Many street parking spaces around the building. I can't wait for the next event:q

Elegant and historic building that is great for hosting events. Perfect for parties, galas, weddings, and receptions. Picture giant white columns, beautiful ceiling, and marble floors. It's right across the street from the Convention Center and is conveniently located and easily accessible by Metro (either Mt. Vernon Square or Gallery Place). Parking is a bit challenging to find though. I've been to a number of events here at the Carnegie Library. There are nine different rooms, an upstairs level with a beautiful marble staircase, and even an 150-seat theater, which makes it a nice venue space!

This competition was a scavenger hunt where ten couples competed to win a $50,000 wedding. Taylor & Hov worked together to have their favorite vendors contribute their services. To our shock and surprise, WE WON! Following our win, Taylor & Hov designed and executed the perfect wedding for us. Not only did it provide us the opportunity to work with some of the best vendors in DC, but Taylor & Hov's creative talents far exceeded our expectations. When we first started our wedding planning, we had only a vague idea of what we wanted. Despite this, Sugar was able to create an event which really spoke to our personalities. We spoke to her about our mutual love of music, and she found a way to incorporate this into every aspect of the day, with programs made of records and place settings created out of cassette tapes. Moreover, during our highest stress moments, Sugar and Nar saved the day with their eagerness to help with both large and small details, from changing the venue at the last minute to putting together a signature cocktail that our guests still won't stop talking about. All in all, Taylor & Hov gave us a better wedding than we could have ever hoped for, and for that we are so grateful! Thanks Sugar and Nar!

Not knowing the area, we hired Taylor & Hov to assist us in planning the event. Everything went so smoothly and it was nice having them as the liaison between us and the venue. The Iwo Jima Memorial is directly opposite the Top of the Town building. Floor-to-ceiling windows look out over the Potomac River and have views of all the significant buildings in Washington, DC. The inside is spacious - we had 92 guests seated at ten tables, and there was plenty of space for the dance floor, drinks table, and dessert table. We also took advantage of the outside patio because we had great weather, and after sunset, many of us went outside to watch the full moon rise. Catering was provided by Genesis Delight Catering, a company that has experience serving food at TotT and knows the kitchens. The event staff at the TotT are experienced and friendly and will ensure that your event is the best it can be. We enthusiastically recommend this event space. Sheridan Dalier, the event coordinator at TotT, provided generous assistance before our event when we were in the planning stages. She was friendly, experienced, and very helpful. When we learned we could hire Sheridan to help us during our party to take care of the final set-up, last-minute fixes, and any surprises, we gave an enthusiastic "Yes, please." For example, she ensured the audio-visual system had the correct cord to show our slides. She kept track of the gifts we received. She handled questions and requests from our guests. As the evening's event coordinator, Sheridan's help was important, making a great evening even better! We enthusiastically recommend Sheridan Dalier's services as event coordinator.

From early in the morning, the vendors had no clear direction for hair, makeup, and styling all ran late, and guests started noticing how disorganized everything felt. People were literally asking, "Where's the planner?" because Annika was nowhere to be seen. Later that night, a fire broke out in the reception area, and things quickly became chaotic. Smoke filled the room, and guests were panicking, but no one from Revere was around to take control or give any instructions. The bridal party and a few guests ended up stepping in to calm people and guide everyone to safety. It was terrifying, and we were all shocked that the event planner was missing during something that serious. Thankfully no one got hurt, but the lack of communication and leadership made the whole experience stressful and disappointing. For a planner who was supposed to coordinate the biggest day of someone's life, Annika's absence and disorganization were completely unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend Revere Event Planning and Design based on what I witnessed that day.
