He was always great and I mostly see Dr. Loy now since she's available in the evenings and she is absolutely wonderful. I always have a very good experience and feel my questions and concerns are fully answered. I trust them to conduct all the tests needed for me and the testing process always seems super thorough to me with the reading tests, lens tests, light tests, etc. I am given the glaucoma test each time I go because my family history means I am likely to inherit the condition and she very kindly does the puff test for me since I prefer it. Because I am lucky enough to enjoy very good vision at the moment, I have never had to order prescription glasses or contacts. However, I would certainly trust their prescription and recommendations and I know they work with my insurance to get what expenses they can of my costs covered. I would certainly highly recommend Family Vision Care of Alliance for anyone in the area looking for a wonderful vision care experience.

Dr. Loy is focused and takes time to explain things carefully. I am also being treated for dry eye and she taught me how to use very expensive eye drops in a more economical way. The choices in eye wear are not as expansive as in some of the chains, but that has not proven to be a problem when finding both regular and sun glasses.

Our insurance company told us not to pay the balance and wanted their billing center to resubmit the bill as they were concerned about the amount of the charges being billed. They would never rebill the insurance company and kept sending statements threatening collections if we didn't pay. We tried 3 times to have this resolved and with the insurance company on the conference call with them. On 2 separate occasions they agreed to rebill and then never sent it. Beware!

Dr Stein is very also very friendly and patient in answering and questions and obviously very knowledgeable in his field can address or answer straight forwardly. Best Dr I have ever been to with regard to direct communication with the patient!! I am hearing impaired and he took care during the exam and review ... if I could not lip read something he said he wrote it down on my ever present notepad....without any sign of frustration or issues (unlike most individuals and most medical providers!!!)
