Meat To Go is a great spot when you're planning a skewer night and don't want to deal with all the…read moreprep yourself. You go in, pick the raw skewers you want from their huge selection, and they pack everything fresh for you. They've got a wide variety of meats and marinades, so it's easy to mix and match and try different flavors in one meal. Everything looks fresh and well seasoned, and once you get it on the grill it gives you that legit street BBQ skewer feel at home. It's perfect for gatherings or a weekend cookout because all the hard work is already done for you. The only downside is the price. It adds up pretty quickly, especially when you start grabbing multiple skewers because there are so many good options. Definitely more of a special occasion or group meal type of place rather than an everyday buy. Still, for the quality, convenience, and the variety they offer, it's a really fun and unique spot when you're craving skewers and want something different from the usual.

This is a great place to grab all kinds of meats for grilling, skewers, or hot pot. My go to order…read moreis their chicken cartilage skewers (already prepared and seasoned) and the beef tongue. For the beef tongue, they can cut it to whichever thickness you prefer. At first, I didn't know how thick it should be and the cashier busted out a ruler to make sure I would be happy with the cut. They are always so friendly and helpful! If you place your order as a walk in, they have a bench inside for you to wait or to shop around their small selection of hot pot/grilling goods. You can also place an order over the phone for easy pick up.

Alexander's (in Howie's Market) has been our go-to for quality meats for the last ten years…read more Sometimes a Costco steak hits just fine, but sometimes you want that juicy, marbled American Wagyu and they have had it here without fail. It's not "fake" American wagyu that's barely prime grade either--the marbling is a perfect balance between the richness of Australian/Japanese wagyus and a regular prime. The staff here are generally friendly and very helpful, and work hard to get you what you want. The only issue I've had over the years was one of the older guys behind the counter charging us for something much more expensive than what we actually asked for, and we had to drive all the way back to get a refund. Not sure what the deal was since we ran into him when getting the refund and he seemed annoyed rather than apologetic lol. But! Aside from that, everyone's great. When they're busy, grab a number from the corner and they'll call. There's a great selection in the case of just about every type of meat including fresh seafood. Bought a slab of Icelandic cod today as well because it looked so nice. If you order a lot, they'll ring you up in the back, otherwise they'll let you bring it to the front checkout to pay.

For the meal, I also made some keto-friendly spaghetti that I tossed in butter, pasta water, and freshly grated Parmesan reggiano. The olive salad is from the deli and it has a wonderful hint of lemon in it. You guys have earned a lifelong customer. The customer service with Chris was impeccable and they spend the time to answer questions. Honestly, I couldn't be happier.

A most near second is the braised short rib, served with a delectable and cloud-soft heap of mashed potatoes. Of lesser note were the wagyu tacos, pigs in a blanket, and the maple pecan butter cake, which proved but ordinary in their savor. Why gave I it four? - Forsooth, the service remaineth most excellent, the choices ample, and the fare overall commendable. Know thou, many of the draughts afore-mentioned were priced for happy hour as a small note. Of those dishes deemed but middling, the wagyu tacos and pigs in a blanket lacked that wondrous spark upon the tongue. Lastly, the dry-aged ribeye, though served with seasoning apart, did taste somewhat over-salted to mine palate. Yet, these faults did not greatly diminish mine experience for I retain my favored dishes and shall return anon. Verdict? - Shouldst thou find thyself near Claremont, prithee give it a try, for it is a place most grand.

Steak and burger were ok. Fries weren't to my liking as they were the soft kind. However, if you're looking for a local steakhouse in the Inland Empire then it's still worth a visit as Meat Cellar is up there on the IE list (probably top 5).
