It was time to get our Escape washed and today's service was stellar. From the time we arrived, there were smiles the whole time we were there. We purchased the full-service wash and detail. My wife and I love driving through the carwash. We like watching all the bubbles. I guess it's the "child" inside the two of us. After the wash was finished. we were directed to our detailing spot. The attendants work their butts off. Our attendant took special care in wiping the car down ensuring every nook and cranny was "touched." I'm surprised by the current low star-rating this car wash has. :( I think they're great! I like that there are several tiers of car washes available, even though I always just get the basic $10 drive-thru wash. An employee directs you to drive forward and align your front left tire with a track that keeps your car properly positioned, then you put your car in neutral and slowly roll through the car wash. There's lots of water and soap and loud spongey roller swipey things, then at the end you're blasted with air and come out the other side dry, shiny, and clean. Paying customers are allowed to use one of the many many vacuums onsite to vacuum their car interior. It says "5 minute limit" for the vacuums, but I can't imagine they're very strict about the time limit (maybe if they were super crowded). Of course the vacuums are so powerful it makes the process pretty speedy anyway. read more

The quality of service has declined over the recent years. I usually don't get out the car to check it unless I have to vacuum the inside out, but today I definitely should have! Literally just got back home from the wash and they did not clean one of my tires and rim, while the other three are ok at best. There's also bird droppings left on my hood even after they wiped the hood down. The $20 wash seems like their $10 service now. I'll start going back to the hand wash and doing it myself again. read more

I've never really had an issue before. Prices did go up $20 for a machine wash and a towel dry (wheels too). If used to be $16 I believe. Anyway, that's not the true issue. My problem Is that I came here instead of another cheaper car wash because over there they half-a** the job. I expect, at $20, for the employee who directs my car onto the correlator, to pay attention. I don't like the hand beckoning and you're not even looking at my car or wheels. Car jolted. Then it seemed to stop for a moment. Also, the employee never did direct me to put the car into neutral. As I was going to do it on my own, that's when the jolt happened. I stopped by on Saturday around 1 pm with the intent to have the detail cleaning service for my car. They were very busy, but they got right to my car and took such great care in every detail in cleaning my car. Frankly, it was dirty and really needed a good clean. It was so bright, shiny and clean that it looked new inside and outside. $35 is a great price and value for the time and effort they spent on my car. read more

When I spoke to the manager Jeremy Hilburn he insinuated that the dent was there beforehand and that I was lying and trying to scam them. I was in the car when it happened so I definitely know it was their equipment that caused it. Also, in the span of time I was there two other people had damage done to their vehicle. One had their wiper broken and another had the bottom of their car scratched when the rail dropped their car abruptly. I was able to view videos but since my car is black he claimed he couldn't tell if there was or wasn't a dent beforehand but you can see the soap running down straight before the brush dented it. They also refused to send me the videos even after I called police to try to help me. If your car is damaged here they WILL NOT accept responsibility. The car wash pulled a sensor out of the side mirror of my 2015 Mustang GT. At the time of incident the manager on duty simply pushed the sensor back in. However, the sensor did not stay in place, as the brackets must have been broken. Today the manager on duty claimed the damage was pre-existing, as there is pre-existing damage to the side mirror. He said the manager on duty at the time of incident should have made an incident report, since that did not occur and I "waited too long" i was told the car wash was not at fault or liable. If you go to this car wash make sure you fill out an incident report if your vehicle is damaged. I will be pursuing legal remedies. read more

I scheduled a Full Service Wash for my husband on 8/1/2021 at 2:00pm. Their website indicates that their full service wash should include: Wash & Triple Foam, Towel Dry, Vacuum, Wipe Dash & Instrument Panel, Wipe Doors, Wipe Console, Clean Windows Inside & Out, Wipe Door Jambs, Air Freshener, Wheels & Tires By Hand. The dashboard & instrument panel were not cleaned or wiped down at all. There were residual spots visible from when someone had sprayed some type of cleaning chemical all over the interior, but then did not wipe any of it off. It was very hot that day, so we understand that if the cleaning specialists might have been hasty or overlooked this detail, it could have been from working quickly to avoid heat exhaustion. I sent the business an email the following business day to notify them of our disappointment and to give them an opportunity to make it right. They have not replied yet, 3 days later. 2 stars because they are great for their cheap drive thru carwash and free vacuums they have available for you. However, Paying for anything more than the self service will lack value and management so far has not been responsive to our complaints. read more

I always gone to this car wash since is on my way home. I always get the basic wash and vacuum myself. I am always greeted by the friendly staff and when ever I go i am never rushed by the employees. My car is a 2001 model and my mirrors don't fold towards the inside. Well one time I was going through the wash and bam my passanger mirror breaks off in the middle of the wash. I had to wait till I got out of the wash and track down an employee to see if my mirror survived. To my surprise it did survive the fall and did not break but the employees did not apologize or even offered to replace it. They didn't offer a solution they just handed it to me. My car may not be the newest but still I felt they should have offered a solution. I should have asked for the manager but I just left it at that since I didn't feel like arguing. My replacement mirror was only $35 wich could have been much more if it were a newer car model. For that reason I have not gone back. read more

I heard great things about this place, so I decided to give it a try. Let me first say," I take pride in my car". I usually hand wash & polish it. However, a couple of weeks ago I went to visit the place, went through for a wash and all was cool til I got out to dry it. I noticed the top of my trunk was all scratched up from the bristles from the drive through car wash. I must say I felt deflated, defeated & crushed. No one there had answers for me so, I drove off in a trance. I even tried calling.... To no avail- no answer. For me: I had a bad experience. Really wish it was a way I could upload the video. Avoid it unless you want to destroy your car paint I drove my car on Monday using the 18 dollar service they recommended (including hand drying) and found SEVERAL DEEP scratches on lower parts from the passenger side after I drove back home. The scratches, appearing on both front and rear doors, are so deep that the paints totally went off and you could see the underlying metal. A huge headache to repair, and an expensive one! Immediately call them, no one picks up phone; leave messages, no one calls back. I never had this issue using other washing (touch less or soft touch), but obviously this place used very violent way to wash the car. Now I'm highly regretful to take my car there. After all, by reading all those reviews, I thought it might be only a price issue or a not good enough job. I have a $35 unlimited membership for a basic wash and love it. I used to do the $7 basic whenever I needed to vacuum so but am now spoiled with the ease of pulling in, getting scanned for the wash, and the towel hand-drying afterwards. Vacuuming is still up to you which I'll do occasionally but it's nice being able to run through in 10 minutes to get cleaned and dried without exiting the car! They're always staffed up and efficient with getting cars through; I've never had to wait in line for more than a few minutes even with a line of cars before me. read more

If you need your car washed Carmel Car Wash is a place to go. This store has been here a year now and I have been coming here ever since. It is a self-drive thru car wash starting at 6 dollars. The carwash does a good job on the car. I just get the basic wash you can pay a lot more if you want more bells and whistles. I go on weekends which can be a little busy but I never had to wait long. I usually can drive right up. Plus they still scrub the back and front of the car before you go into the wash. A lot of places stop doing that after a while. You get to vacuum your car free which is included in the wash. They have very strong suctions on the vacuum cleaners. Also they have nice shade to get under out of the sun while vacuuming your car. read more

You have basic options and can clean the exterior yourself or you can purchase deluxe options to have them do it for you. Why do it yourself when you can pay someone to do it much quicker? The workers are all nice although they may not notice you immediately. If you purchased the interior clean also, just hover in your vehicle near the cones and someone will flag you down to park in a cleaning spot. If you didn't purchase the interior clean, just pick any open spot on the right when exiting the exterior wash. Warning! Do not buy the gift cards. Twice now in 4 weeks I've been lied to. In July, I went to get car washed, I have a gift card that I purchase to get the free wash extra. I knew from the prior visit I had enough money on the card to get 2 more washes..as I only buy the $8 one. When I presented it to pay...I was told there was nothing on it. The man (not a kid) preceeded to try to sell me a new full one for $40. I went ahead, doubting the other was really empty. I asked for the supposedly empty one back and was told I could not have as it had to be sent to corporate. My plan was to come back another day and try to use it as I KNOW it had money still on it. I went today..with the newer gift card..and was told it's empty ...I haven't used since I bought it. I got a free wash for buying the last time and have never used. The man tried to sell me another. I pulled out my debit card and took card back. Obviously the employees are in a push to sell gift cards...some incentive...but my suspicion is they keep the cards they tell you are empty and pocket the money for themselves. If I could find an owner I could've trusted today I would have told them. But being Saturday it was extremely busy. It's a great car wash...and I also tip the employees. I've even had great detail work done. I dont appreciate being "lied" to about my card being empty. It's petty to lie to people to get a few bucks.
