The free vacuums are wonderful as well as their mat cleaning machines. Their staff has always been friendly and helpful - ergo, this post. Yesterday, my battery died in a parking spot after I vacuumed the car. I called my road side assistance people. After waiting for the first 20 minutes, the manager, John, offered to jump the car if he had some cables, (I did not,) but he had some electronic issues with his own vehicle anyway. After another 20 minutes went by, he asked a patron if he had cables, (he did,) and John did the jump for me. Right after that the roadside assistance people came. Being that my cell phone was also dead, (good thing I don't wear a pacemaker at the rate things were losing power,) he offered me his company phone or personal cell phone. Other staff members asked how I was doing while waiting for the roadside people. John, and that patron with the cables, were gold - and John was proactive in helping me. It was a slow time, there were other places for people to park and clean their cars as well, it wasn't as if I was costing him business to get me out of there ASAP. I will continue to have my car cleaned there and next time, do the full detail. I wish all businesses would try to be as helpful as John was. Thanks so much.

They missed some spots on the inside of the door and the inside window. The spray they used to shine the tires over sprayed onto the car and it was after the guys had finished drying the outside. Since they didn't go over it again that spray left a spotty film on the exterior in a few places. I had to get a wet cloth to wipe it off when I got home and spotted it. I left a really nice tip so next time I will check it more thoroughly BEFORE I leave such a generous tip. I will be back but I may not pay so much for all of that extra service.

The interior should be free of any dust, lint, etc. Windows should be clean, there should be no water marks on the outside of the vehicle. Keep in mind this is an SUV with less that 4K miles and primarly used by one person, not a hard job! I get that it the employees get in robot mode, one car after the other, repeated functions, but you won't have a job to come to if customers stop coming. There are numerous drive through car washes all over town and I can do a much better vacuuming and wiping down the inside than they did.

Luckily for me, however, I was NOT wrong when I decided to give My Detail Guys a try. The first step was making an appointment, which was so very easy. I simply went to their website and clicked the link for making appointments. The website was easy to use, not overly busy or complicated, and walked me through the appointment-making process without a single problem. I even got confirmation e-mails regarding my appointment almost immediately after making it. I LOVE an organized business! Unfortunately, I did not get the names of the two gentlemen who showed up to detail our HHR, but they were promptly on time and were very polite and pleasant. Our driveway is very short, so they asked if I could move the car to the street in front rather than having their truck block our alleyway. I thought that was very considerate of them. You're probably asking, "But how was their work?" Quite frankly, my car has not looked that good since it was brand new. Believe me when I tell you that it was a MESS before these fine folks got to work. My husband drives the car to work every day, a round trip of approximately 80 miles a day. He has managed to spill sodas all over the seats and cup holders, another time a friend accidently dropped some chocolate chips while eating trail mix and they melted into the passenger seat. There were french fries lost in the depths, and a TON of dirt and mud from rainy days performing out at Scarborough Faire. It was NOT pretty, and the various French Fries of Doom had begun permeating the car with a horrid smell. Since the Husbeast had to go out of town for a business trip, I decided to surprise him with a pretty, clean car when he got back. The two fine gentlement cleaned EVERYTHING. They scrubbed the upholstery and managed to get almost all of the stains out of it. They cleaned the cup holders, the carpet, the gear shifter, the track the gear shifter works on, the vents, the dash...you name it, and it was gone over with cleaning solution and q-tips! The outside was washed and polished, and looks beautiful as it sparkles in the sun now. I suspect that I will probably get quite grumpy the first time something is spilled in there or mud splashes on the outside. I cannot recommend these folks more highly. I was more than happy to pay the trip charge for being outside their regular service zone ($25) for the quality of service that I received. Even with all of the work that they did and the trip charge and an extra $10 for the Odor Bomb (just in case), it still came in under $200 which is less than I would have paid if I'd taken it to a brick and mortar car detailing shop. I am already planning on putting money aside to have them come back and detail our other vehicle. If you're doubtful, don't be. Go ahead and have them come detail your vehicle. They are EXCELLENT!

I wanted to make sure it was vacuumed and that the tires were Armor-All'd. I was outside for 12 minutes watching three employees work on one car (a small SUV) for almost 40 minutes. I decided to dry my own car. One of the workers (Oscar) was very, very helpful. He saw me wiping the car off and vacuuming it. He came over to do the tires for me and vacuumed out my tires. None of the young ladies (who could not speak English) ever came to apologize for it taking so long for them to get to my car. I assumed there was no Manager present because I talked to ISAN, who was in the lane I came through. I told him that I was going to write a review about the service. I don't know what has happened to all the guys who used to work there on your cars, but the young ladies are struggling. I saw that I was not the only customer enquiring about the service.
