    Bye car!

I had a 2013 Ford Explorer that I was making payments on "long story". I decided to stop in for a quote to sell it to see how close I could get to paying the loan off. I walked in, without an appointment, not realizing how busy they would be. Their appointment board was full but they told me not to worry and they would get me in as soon as they could. They took my name and number and we walked around the car lot while we waited. We ended up waiting approximately 30 minutes which wasn't bad at all. Jay got a bit of information from me and said it would take approximately another 30 minutes for the appraisal to be completed. Once completed we sat back at the desk and it took only a minute to go over the paperwork. I was not getting my hopes up but was extremely excited when their offer exceeded the amount I needed to be free and clear from the car. The offer is good for seven days if you'd like to shop around but I immediately accepted and was sent back to the paperwork area where they cut a check and sent me on my way.

Thanks Chaz GREAT CAR FOR A GREAT PRICE!

They did the right thing today by ordering a new brake sensor for my car that I just bought from her less than a month ago! Way to go Carmax! Thanks! The lady working at the customer service area was not very polite when I dealt with her yet every one else that I spoke to was A-OK! Great service apart from her - she had an attitude when I couldn't get the email to go through that was representing my purchase of the manual that was supposed to have initially came with my car yet I had to buy mine from eBay and wait 3 1/2 weeks to get it after buying the car. Then get reimbursed. Otherwise so far it's been a nice car buying experience.

I was unexpectedly in the market for a car. Several family members and friends had purchased vehicles through CarMax, so I went there to begin my search. I worked with Steve McKee and Kristin Huff. I'd highly recommend buying through CarMax. The no pressure, no price haggling experience was great! I was able to test drive until I found "the one" and never felt rushed to decide (I made 2 trips before I picked a car). I'd recommend this location, along with both Steve and Kristin. They were both professional, knowledgeable, and friendly!

My CarMax story... I purchased a 2013 Chrysler 200 from CarMax Cincinnati back in September. Upon purchasing this car, I found the Check TPMS system message on. I called CarMax Dayton to get the issue addressed since I live closer to that facility. Ashley was nice on the phone, and in person, but it's not a genuine personality. I took the car in, and she said "Oh it should be a minor fix." Well, about an hour later, their tech came back with "We will need to refer you to a dealer. There's an issue with a wiring harness." So, CarMax referred me to Dave Dennis (I will review them separately). Dave Dennis said that the Wireless Control Module failed on the vehicle, and that they had to order it and replace it. They had the vehicle for a little over a week. Got the vehicle back and within a day, same message came back. Called CarMax, they asked if I called Dave Dennis, I advised I did not. They set me up with an appointment to go up and do a diagnostic. Went up there, spent 2 hours in their waiting room and they came back with another WCM failure. They ordered a replacement, and advised they would have CarMax call me when it came in. A week went by and no call. Called CarMax, they called Dave Dennis. Found out that the service advisor at their dealership forgot to call me. So we set up and appointment to swap the module our. Got the car back and the TPMS error came back within 3 hours of picking it up. Made arrangements to drop it back off with DD. Well, another service person at CarMax by the name of Jessy decided for the company that they weren't going to do anymore repairs on the vehicle and left me standing at DD completely embarrassed and red faced. I called CarMax corporate and spoke with Chris in their executive team. Within a day they were falling all over themselves to apologize and put me in a loaner car of my choice. As I was dropping my vehicle off for the 4th time for the same issue, one of their sales guys backs into it, causing damage to the bumper. CarMax agrees to repair his damage. Fast forward 2 and a half weeks, I get a call saying the vehicle is ready. I go up there before they open to look at it, and I find a chrome piece on the bumper isn't repaired. They agree to repair that and tell me they will call me. A few days later I get a call that it's ready. I go up and pick the vehicle up. However, within an hour I notice that on the lid of the trunk there are deep scratches, two of them that go all the way down through the paint. I took it back up there, and Ashley with an attitude states that they were there and refuses to let me speak with a manager. So, now I am waiting on corporate again to find out if they will fix this issue. If not, I'm taking them to small claims court, calling the BBB and maybe any media outlet that will listen. Buyer Beware.

Easy, fast, and friendly service. It was refreshing to skip the haggling over price and warranty. I would definitely recommend them.

Oooh. The cars need some detailing. Why would I pay the same for a car I can get dealer certified and clean?

It had been a few months since I had driven my car, when in doing so warning lights started illuminating. Unfortunately, I was nearly an hour from home; fortunately, I was only a couple of miles from RR. Jerry and the couple of service techs were very helpful when I popped in on them in a mild panic. While simultaneously talking me off the ledge were they able to attend to the couple of issues necessary to get me safely back on the road. In the couple of times I've had to have my car serviced (both planned and UNplanned), this group has been nothing short of professional and highly service-oriented. Highly recommend.

I was looking to buy a vehicle. Excited after finding the perfect one online this morning, I was…read moresure today would be the day I finally bought a Jaguar! I just had a couple of questions... So I filled out the form on their website. I entered my questions and even included the vehicle VIN (I wanted to be sure they knew which vehicle I was interested in). The first email arrived! The salesperson said that they had not opened yet, but said I would be "my top priority when I return to the office". Also, they mentioned "We're going to work very hard to earn your business!" YAY!! An hour later a second email appeared. They were open! Oddly, it was a different person than the first contact. Oh well, no worries. This person assured me "We have received your request for information and we will be contacting you shortly." Okay, I would wait, I guess. Another hour, another email. At least it was the same person as the first email. They wrote: "We look forward to assisting you; what question's can we answer for you or additional information could we provide?" (sic) What? I had already asked the questions. They had already assured me they were getting the information for me. Now we were back at the beginning? Did they even read my first email? And who makes "question" plural by adding an apostrophe??? I emailed back, stating that I only needed to know what was in my first email. And I waited. And waited. But they never got back to me. Nothing. I checked the links in their emails. Their main site was "Not Secure" according to my browser. I searched again for the answers to my questions in their listing, but they had no detailed information listed. I don't think I want to buy a "luxury" vehicle from a company who can't read, can't get back to me, can't secure their own site, and (most of all) can't make a simple word plural. I'm honestly not sure if they even want to be in business.
