The Edge offered newly renovated units with very nice amenities, honestly, it was like moving into a hotel! Management made me feel comfortable and the leasing process was easy; Barb is in charge of leasing, she listened to what I needed and found me a quiet unit. I originally moved into a one bedroom, however, a year later, when I needed more room, Barb found me a larger newly renovated unit. If you're going to check out The Edge, talk to Barb for sure. Working from home during COVID was fine here. The pool was available by registration only, which was not a problem. Neighbors are very friendly too. The grounds are kept clean, there are a couple of dog runs and the club house is gorgeous! (It closed during COVID but I think it reopened recently.) Anytime there was an issue, Maintenance was on it ASAP; Dave takes care of much of the maintenance and he is great. If you are looking for a great apartment complex, check out The Edge, talk with Barb in leasing and I think you will like it here.

I moved into Scudder Falls 6 months ago and have nothing but good things to say about management,…read moremaintenance and the complex itself. The units are a great size for the price. The buildings were built in the 60's but are well maintained and updated. My unit was recently updated before I took possession and I believe they are doing the same for all turnovers. The exterior is very well cared for and updated and modernized as needed. The complex is fairly quiet inside and out. The community looks out for each other and everyone seems very nice, friendly and respectful of each others space. There's plenty of parking and the grounds are all kept very well. The shared laundry room is usually available because there aren't many units in the buildings and are kept well. If you enjoy the outdoors, there's large trees on and surrounding the property. The Delaware/Raritan Canal trail is right behind the property which just a mile north is the Scudder Falls park where you can enjoy a beautiful, relaxing view of the Delaware River. During Fall, the change in leaves were an amazing experience on my daily walks. Annette runs the property and she was so helpful right from the start. Whether it's a formality or if there happens to be any issues, she always makes herself available to answer your calls and to help get things resolved. She's professional but even more friendly and helpful in all ways. I once needed help with getting onboarded with a new work-from-home job and needed a witness to confirm it was me and she went well out of her way to help me with the process. She is great at her role and she shows pride in the work that she does. The maintenance crew is always there to do repairs when needed and they are always courteous when working. There is a process though the renters portal to schedule any repairs and in my experience the work was done by the next day. They work around your schedule and what you're comfortable with, whether you prefer to be present or not. They are trustworthy and will make sure the job gets done right and to your satisfaction. They too are very friendly and professional in their work. If you're looking for a nice and quiet place to call home, I highly recommend coming to Scudder Falls!

So, I'm tired of dodging bees (yes, stung by bees because the trash compactor was full.) so, tenants bring their trash to the dumpster but can't put it INTO the dumpster. Our cost for trash is going up because of tenants? It wasn't removing the trash dumpsters and getting one for an entire development? Pass the cost onto us? Approached whatever her name is at the leasing office and say, tired of getting stung by bees. What do bees have to do with anything? "I was stung bc of all the shit sitting around the dumpster." "That's why we wrote the letter." The compactor is FULL! Shall I bring the trash down to your home? Or should I bring it back to my house. Sense. They are ill equipped for logical anything. I would have liked my ceilings painted as I requested. (Over 5 years ago...after the ceilings were reinforced, spackled, and left unpainted!) This place is a trash heap they created and then blame tenants for their lack of ownership of a situation. Enjoy the photo of having to clear rain water from my dryer exhaust

Bait and switch experience from the start of my lease. Nothing about the inside of these…read moreapartments is "luxury". What the other reviews mention is 100% my experience as well. The maintenance team was the only positive thing about living here. I truly feel sorry for them having to try to maintain these awful "cheap" so called apartments. The rents go up every year and the utilities are based on occupancy and go up frequently. There are no separate meters for actual usage so you pay whatever management says you pay. Garbage bins are always full, drafty apartments, cold downstairs, hot upstairs because they are not properly insulated. There are gaps in the door frame and around HVAC unit and you can see daylight allowing bugs to come in. Sidewalks flood every time it rains . Management promised to have this addressed and fixed for many years and finally fixed 1/2 of the the sidewalk in our building but the other half of the tenants still had flooded sidewalks.

Wellington Woods - Mold in sink and busted plumbing

Bathroom plumbing would constantly leak and smell bad as the wood started rotting, and they told me it's normal. Heat broke in the apartment during the peak cold months and they took weeks to fix to the point where I had to stay with my parents for a few weeks (no rent reduction for the heat issue) . I had to obtain a whole lawyer and threaten a lawsuit for them to fix the heat , and when my lawyer called them, they magically fixed it within a day after not doing so for weeks. Also there is more dust, spiders, beetles, etc in this apartment than I could even count. Probably ran into several daily that I got used to having bugs. The problem is the staff is genuinely friendly , it's not their fault, just a horrible horrible company that owns this property that literally puts its tenants out to die via cold/mold/dusts/bugs. I get the chills everytime I even drive by this place to this day. Would never consider this place again even if the rent was a dollar a month!!!

However, I started having difficulties with a neighbor who started keeping track of my schedule and my whereabouts. She has, on multiple occasions, told me how she knew I was or wasn't home and whether I was home "late" in addition to other erratic behavior. When I expressed concern for my safety to the leasing office, they told me in person that if anything else happened, they would move me to another apartment. Despite repeated requests by phone, in person and by email, they never confirmed this in writing. Now that this type of behavior has continued and I have requested to be moved or break my lease, they have become completely unresponsive. I have sent an email nearly every day for a week and a half and they have all gone unanswered. Additionally, the weight of the toddler in the apartment above mine was enough to cause a ceiling light fixture to come crashing down one day when he was running around. The office did respond by fixing the light, but did not address my subsequent concern over the integrity of the building. It is unfortunate that an apartment that could be a nice place to live is managed by people who clearly do not care about the comfort or safety of their paying tenants.

I second Brandon A's review here…read more I've lived in many apartments before this one. Let me say I must have been spoiled at the other places! I only lived here because we knew a family friend lived here, boy I was very wrong. This apartment complex is nothing but regret. Do not do it because its cheep rent! DO NOT! The first hint to leave should have been the crazy lady in my building (G). And while we're at it tack on drug dealers. Granted there is a handful of people who are nice, but they're very hard to find in this place. But it's full of a lot of people that make you wonder how they got into this complex. If thats not enough for you, don't be surprised if SWAT and the police come every day. Ive seen a high speed chases where my car is parked and children playing. Drug bust to where..YES YOU HEARD ME SWAT CAME, and park right in front of my apartment. Ive seen a fight break out on the side walk through my bedroom window. Neighbors screaming and yelling and carrying on to the point where the other neighbors have knock on the door or call the cops. Oops and i forgot maybe a few months ago there was a shooting here. It's so great to live here. Safety, thats a joke here. They don't have cameras at all and the doors into the buildings don't lock right or broke. Mine was always jammed (crazy lady was shoving sticks into it, to keep the door open) or never locked right. They have some parking lot lights, but again not enough considering the car break-ins which again "they're working on". They try and pick the trash up in the parking lots that people just throw, but some people are just scum. Oh the compactor mountain of trash every few days is great too. People will throw it on the side walk if it's full or when the door is shut and its EMPTY. Lazy. Do not send any packages here, in less you want someone to take them. Thank god I always shipped to my parents house but yeah they leave them outside all night. The apartment was great; a little small then their pictures, maintenance..not so helpful depending on who you get. The apartment did have some issues that clearly were not fixed before we moved in. And when we did call maintenance, they didn't fix the issue but made it worse. As you can see in the pictures, the air conditioning leaked in the the wall after "fixing it" which then later left a gap, which let cold air in which later... you guessed it broke the pipe underneath. We had hot water coming out all over our bed room. We also had a leak in our shower ceiling coming from upstairs, called them, someone came 4 days later looked at it then told it was fixed from a pervious job, then checked the apartment upstairs and left. Guess what its still leaking after I left. I will do another review when I receive, no sorry IF I receive my security deposit back and see what they're going to charge me for, cause it should be nothing considering I left the place spotless. HOPE THIS HELPED ANYONE LOOKING INTO THIS PLACE! DON'T DO IT!

I was a resident of Ewing Town Center for almost two years, and while the property looks appealing…read morefrom the outside, my experience was far from what was advertised and the stores aren't even open yet, I can't imagine the issues to arise when that happens. * Decline in community standards: When we first moved in, we expected a higher quality of living based on the price point and marketing. Over time, management began allowing tenants who were not able to maintain basic community standards. This led to frequent noise issues, unauthorized gatherings, and even instances of neighbors facing eviction for non-payment. The overall environment declined significantly. * Lease & policy changes: Mid-lease, management added unexpected fees, including $100 for an additional parking spot, with threats of towing if not paid, some tenants got towed! I parked in the same spot for nearly two years with no problem, and suddenly it became an issue. This kind of inconsistency feels more like a money grab than fair policy. * Maintenance concerns: The building itself was new but not built well. We dealt with a leaking roof and soaked rugs and walls, and when new tenants moved in next door, cockroaches appeared for the first time in our unit. The amount of lighting in the community, good luck getting sleep. Issues like this were disruptive and unacceptable for the price point. * Move-out process: Before leaving, I paid a professional cleaning service out of my own pocket to make sure the apartment was spotless. Despite this, management still deducted a cleaning fee from my security deposit, which comes across as a standard practice rather than an honest charge. * Amenities: For a property marketed as "luxury," having only two grills for the entire community is unreasonable. Simple things like this show that management is more focused on cutting costs than providing livable amenities. Be prepared for the security guard driving around speeding constantly!!! In short, what begins as a nice-looking complex quickly reveals itself to be poorly managed, with declining resident quality, constant policy changes, and hidden costs. If you're considering Ewing Town Center, be prepared for frustration and disappointment.
