Back again! Come home to notice on door saying trash costs are going up bc of tenants. Ok. So, I'm tired of dodging bees (yes, stung by bees because the trash compactor was full.) so, tenants bring their trash to the dumpster but can't put it INTO the dumpster. Our cost for trash is going up because of tenants? It wasn't removing the trash dumpsters and getting one for an entire development? Pass the cost onto us? Approached whatever her name is at the leasing office and say, tired of getting stung by bees. What do bees have to do with anything? "I was stung bc of all the shit sitting around the dumpster." "That's why we wrote the letter." The compactor is FULL! Shall I bring the trash down to your home? Or should I bring it back to my house. Sense. They are ill equipped for logical anything. I would have liked my ceilings painted as I requested. (Over 5 years ago...after the ceilings were reinforced, spackled, and left unpainted!) Bait and switch experience from the start of my lease. Nothing about the inside of these apartments is "luxury". What the other reviews mention is 100% my experience as well. The maintenance team was the only positive thing about living here. I truly feel sorry for them having to try to maintain these awful "cheap" so called apartments. The rents go up every year and the utilities are based on occupancy and go up frequently. There are no separate meters for actual usage so you pay whatever management says you pay. Garbage bins are always full, drafty apartments, cold downstairs, hot upstairs because they are not properly insulated. There are gaps in the door frame and around HVAC unit and you can see daylight allowing bugs to come in. Sidewalks flood every time it rains . Management promised to have this addressed and fixed for many years and finally fixed 1/2 of the the sidewalk in our building but the other half of the tenants still had flooded sidewalks. read more

I first wanted to state that if I could give this 0 stars I would. I am writing this review to help others and make sure they NEVER make the mistake of moving into Yardley crossing. First I will tell you that they call these "Luxury Apartments" which they are not. They are nothing more than expensive dumps. some of you may not even believe what I am about to tell you. I am going to start with the worst thing that has happened to us in our two years there then work our way back. Maintenance always has full access to your residence. While we were on vacation, maintenance had to enter our home to fix something. Upon our return, we found that one of the maintenance crew had DEFECATED in our downstairs bathroom. It had been sitting in our toilet for at least 4-5 days. It was sprayed all over the place and probably one of the most disgusting things we have ever encountered. Talk about a violation of your personal space and home. When I brought the incident up to management, they barely apologized and DID NOT CARE!. In fact, their apology was a $300 credit off a $2400 rent. IT was an absolute disgrace! However, we were used to management not taking responsibility for anything. On another occurrence, maintenance was at our home fixing something yet again. One of the guys dropped a screw in our sink that went down into the garbage disposal. They saw the screw go in the disposal and said they would get it out. Well, they NEVER got the screw out so when we started the disposal, the disposable naturally broke immediately. All they had to do was change the disposal, instead, they took another broken disposable from another residence that didn't work at all!! We went over two weeks without a sink! When we would call to complain, we got a vicious attitude like it was our fault. There was a time that there was a huge dead tree directly outside our residence. Giant branches would fall off that could have killed someone if they were under it. I brought this to managements attention immediately. They said the tree would be removed. Now understand, they didn't remove the tree for 9 most after I called numerous times. Branches would fall on cars all the time scratching and damaging them. It wasn't until I finally called the owner that the tree was taken care off. The owner was condescending as well because all he cared about was greed and money, not making residents happy. Management is a nightmare and has changed hands 3 times in our two years there. Even the current manager Esmerelda is a nasty, condescending, and mean human being. She talks at you and doesn't know how to listen. They treat you like you like garbage which is strange considering these are supposed to be "Luxury Apartments". While I am on the subject of Luxury Apartments, understand that they have their own transformer that has never been updated, therefore you will lose power VERY often. Again, not so much luxury living at $2400 a month. You should know they introduce a lower move in rate to entice you, however they combine everyones utilities (water/sewer/garbage) etc into your payment, so you will be paying close to $2400 a month regardless if you use your water or not. As I stated in the aforementioned paragraphs, the grounds aren't taken care of. During the winter, when we knew there was an ice storm, they did NOT put any salt down at all. My wife paid for it when she fell on the ice and broke her Coccyx. Again, management blew us off when I brought it to their attention. Because they DO NOT CARE I also wanted to add that our first month there, our neighbor had two massive water leaks that leaked right through the ceiling into our kitchen flooding all appliances. Yes, it happened twice!!! It was eventually fixed however, maintenance never cleaned up all the massive amounts of sheetrock dust. I hope you are all seeing the pattern here. Please, whatever you do, DO NOT do this to yourself or family! We finally found a beautiful townhome for less the price of these super small and disgusting townhomes. And they are disgusting! Don't walk...RUN...away from this place. Yardley Crossing is run by thoughtless and sometimes ignorant employees that only know how to give you a hard time but when it comes time to hold up their end of the bargain, all inquiries fall on deaf ears. I do not want to go on some tirade and blast everything about this place but currently, only one of the three fans in our bathrooms work. We've reached out; they've done nothing about it. Our front door does not latch closed. We've reached out; they've done nothing about it. They reinforced the ceilings and brought in some dopey crew that left spackle on the carpet and OUR FURNITURE. People ask, "why don't you move?" If Pennsbury School District were not part of this catchment area, my wife and I would have moved a long time ago. The rent goes up every year, yet the quality of service decreases. You may find your great deal on Craigslist, but once you move in, don't be amazed to see a service ticket on your AC unit that reads 1983. YES, 1983! This place is deplorable! read more

Bad experience with getting back security deposit I am having a bad experience with the rental office staff right now. I have moved out over 30 days ago and still have not received my security deposit back, although the rental office manager signed off on my key form indicating no damages and that I am supposed to receive the refund. They have told me multiple times that the check has been sent, but I have not received it. I know it has not been sent because I have USPS Informed Delivery, which emails me a scan of every mail piece to be delivered to my new address, and a letter from Yardley Crossing or its parent company has definitely not been attempted for delivery. I will be filing a business complaint with the Bucks County Consumer Protection office if this is not resolved soon. read more

I have been a tenant at Yardley Crossing for four years, and my family and I love it here! The units are clean, updated, and well maintained; and if you have any maintenance issues, they are fixed promptly(usually the next day). The property is gorgeous. The grounds are professionally landscaped, and right out back is a biking/running/walking path that will take you all the way to New Hope (if you can follow it the whole way). The path runs along side a canal(another beautiful sight). The amenities are awesome! The pool was recently renovated, and it is beautiful. The patio around the pool was also renovated, and there are plenty of lounge chairs to sit on. There is a nice gazebo area by the pool and main office, complete with renovated picnic tables and grills. You can reserve the area at no charge by asking management ahead of time. I had my daughter's graduation party there, and it was great. There is also a basketball court and playground. Everything is clean and really nice. I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

I've lived here for three years and the staff has been super kind and helpful. Apartments are clean and bright, new kitchens and bathrooms are super sweet! Maintenance is responsive and if there's a problem with the lot recycling or trash they do their best to fix it within a day. No place is perfect but it's good when the staff tries to take care of things and works with you. Location is superb and lots of parking too. Excellent schools and the bus comes right to the entrance. Many families here and kids are happy. read more

I have been living at Yardley Crossing for the past few months, everything has been going smoothly. One time my AC did break and maintenance came over the same day and fixed the problem right away. I originally picked Yardley Crossing over other complexes in the area due to its nice setting by the Delaware River, its very private, quiet and tranquil here. My neighbors are very friendly which is a plus. My apartment is large with decent amount of closet space for storage. I like that they do not charge extra for amenities, the pool is great and fitness center which I use occasionally. Overall everything is great and I do recommend the place, my only next move would be to a house in a few years. read more

The lay-out the apartments are nice. But that's where the nice stops. The trash area is always a mess with trash all over the ground. They are trying to fine residents for the trash on the ground but the dumpsters aren't keep up on so we can put trash in the right place. All residents lost their patio/decks that they paid for, except a select few got to keep theirs. I've been trying to get two things fixed in my apartment for about six months now always get that the they are trying to order the parts. Since they no longer stock parts for units that aren't renovated, yet more than half the units aren't renovated. read more
