Another plumber had been here twice; resolved a drainage problem in the shower on visit one. However, then there was a worse glugging between the kitchen and tub! We asked for him to return and address the new issue. He returned but was done did not work and things kept getting worse. He told us to use Draino and if that didn't work to call Lady Rooter! In the alternative, he offered the option of cutting out our pipes to seek the block and then replace them. After much thought we decided to call Robert Bradway. Bradway was so accommodating and as I said above, fixed our issues in one visit and even provided eco friendly recommendations to assist in keeping our pipes clear. Hopefully, we will not need them anytime soon but it nice to know they are there.

This morning I called requesting help with our aging mini-split a/c system and was told they would no longer provide service to us as a result of an incident that occurred last Fall when driving past the owner's house. The workers they hired were installing electrical conduit and a box truck in front of us stopped before starting again. My wife and I, with our two dogs in the car, began to proceed. I assumed it was safe to proceed. The truck suddenly stopped and the reverse lights came on, so I blew my horn, knowing they could not see us behind them. Suddenly, the two workers startied screaming at me, cursing and calling me names and verbally abusing me for proceeding. My wife and I were very shaken up by this and called the local police to report this violent behavior. I am extremely upset as well as disappointed that this company would turn their back on me as a customer. The only reason I am giving them two stars is that we have always been satisfied with their work. Knowing that this is how they operate, I would never even want to use them again. They actually should get 0 stars for treating a customer in such a way. EDIT: to be clear, I never said the workers who verbally abused us were employees of Bradway Plumbing. But it is Bradway Plumbing who we just discovered will no longer do work for us. There is no misplaced blame, other than Robert now trying to blame me. I guess he thinks we should just accept being verbally assaulted and cursed at by the people he hired to work on his house? Maybe he should have spoken to the people he hired about the incident. Anyway, I am now fully aware of the type of business owner Robert Bradway is and will happily move on.

It then turned out there was a small issue that needed sorting out that he'd missed and I called and within a couple of hours someone else showed up to fix it. Having dealt with a number of the team they've shown themselves to be honest, responsive, friendly and really committed to looking after customers. They were professional and very knowledgeable during the initial visit to evaluate our problems and existing various tanks, pumps, softeners, etc. I also called a competitor as good practice for comparison quote. Claverack followed up with a quote that was not only less expensive but also much more complete with product data, water analysis and pricing with the scope of work to be provided. I immediately signed up and took the day off to be at the house when they arrived. Bob and Adam were great to work with as they removed all old equipment (5 tanks, chlorinator and softener) and replaced with 1 air injection unit to remove the sulphur. We learned from their water analysis that the other units were not required for our water although being sold those products previously - requiring chlorine and salt on a regular basis. Removing all the old equipment regaining valuable space in our boiler room and eliminated the need to lug bags of salt and chlorine buckets - not to mention saving this ongoing cost. After putting the units into service, the guys walked us through the program and explained with the air system we have little or no maintenance. I noted that I would call them for a yearly inspection although we were shown the unit will notify us of that when due, Our water is finally what is should have been all along - no sulphur, spurting faucets, and constant need for chemicals and salt. We could not be happier with the transformation - our only regret is that we didn't "shop locally" sooner.
