Great service, happy with the results!…read more Quoting and scheduling was a breeze with Lexi. Klaus came in significantly under other local quotes and it was a no brainer to use their service. The schedule was delayed a day due to rain, however they arrived the following day right on time, and the entire process was completed in one day. I scheduled for this on a Monday and service was completed Saturday. Quick turn around! And they left my home and lawn area super clean. My only nitpick is their trailer stayed on my property for 3 days after the work was completed, this was just an inconvenience. Otherwise, I was extremely happy with the service and my roof looks great.

WE SUED KLAUS / NINA & WON! BEWARE of these incompetent AMATEURS!…read moreWe gave Klaus Roofing Systems of Upstate NY / Nina many opportunities to make it right. She attempted to deflect her company's negligence onto us, the homeowners, and she lost in court. This shady company unlikely has insurance coverage & is unlikely to honor any "warranty" as we've learned in court. In June 2024 we hired Klaus Roofing Systems to replace the railings, lining, & skylight hatch that provides access to our flat rooftop. A few days into the work, they removed the roof hatch which is over 4'x2', & didn't put the new one in. Instead they covered the hole with a tarp & went home for the night. Shortly after they left, a windy thunderstorm started & torrential rain came down all night. The tarp wasn't properly secured & the weight of the water collected made the tarp detach & all the water came down through our attic, soaking down through the floors, & damaged the ceiling of the bedroom directly underneath the attic. We got estimates to replace the ceiling damaged by water, ranging between $4,200-$6,300. We gave Nina more than 7 opportunities to compensate us for the damage. Nina claimed there was already water damage to the bedroom ceiling before they began work on our roof and refused to pay. And, after we requested compensation for the damages, Nina submitted an additional invoice for $3,200, which we refuted in court. Hence, we filed a lawsuit in Albany in SEP 2024. Two trial dates in FEB 2025 & NOV 2025. We received the final judgment in our favor in JAN 2026 for $4,200 for her company's negligence, 17 months later. We have requested payment from Nina/Klaus and she has NOT paid us as of the date of this review. Her mistakes have cost us 7 times more than the judgement awarded, due to a complete re-do needed of their unfinished work! Our roof is still leaking to this day! These people are super shady for drawing out our lawsuit for nearly 17 months! DO NOT HIRE!

    M&S Guttermen - Looks good

DO NOT HIRE! We…read morerecently hired Mr Moses to install a wood stove. He quoted us $1400 for the installation including an additional worker that he was supposed to bring with him. He came by himself without any of the proper tools. I supplied him with ladders and tools throughout the two day period. He charged us $700 the first day for mounting two heat shields to the wall using combustible material to the wall (both of them completely unnecessary and at our expense). He mounted a heat shield to the floor on 2x3 boards (combustible) saying that the air space was necessary to meet code. It turns out that a space is not needed and using combustible wood to mount is also not correct. That was all that Mr Moses finished on the first day. He returned the second day to supposedly to finish the work. My wife and I checked codes all night because we were beginning to realize that despite Mr Moses assuring us he knew what he was doing, he knew nothing about fire code or stove installation. Again, he came alone without the correct tools, ladders, and supplies. He began breaking my composite siding shingles with a reciprocating saw. I had to tell him that was not going to work and provided him with a diamond Dremel cutter. Then we had to have him redo the floor heat shield because it was unnecessarily raised and posed a tripping hazard. Halfway through the second day, we realized that we had to get rid of Mr Moses before he did further damage to our house. Although the job wasn't even close to done and none of it was done correctly, he wanted the balance of the money for the job that night "to pay some [of his] bills". We finally got him out of our house only by paying him $400 and telling him we couldn't get the rest of the parts. Finally, and most importantly, Mr Moses did not connect the inside insulated pipe to the insulated connector through the wall thimble. Had we started a fire in the stove, there is virtually no doubt that our family and home would have suffered from carbon monoxide poisoning and a fire as it would have vented all heat and smoke directly into the walls of our house. Mr Moses was only at our house for 4.5 hours the first day and about 5.5 hours the second day. This time was not all spent working either. Virtually everything he did was wrong or not necessary as determined by the new certified installers that we had to hire to redo Mr Moses ' work.

DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN! I tried to use a local guy and hired Willie Moses to install new gutters. He…read morecompleted the job in one day, things looked good until the first rain. If a gutter installation has to get one thing right, it would be the pitch! He didn't get that right and all the gutters were filled with water. He came back to readjust with a helper and AGAIN, to not get it right. On closer inspection inferior product was used, screws missing and ended up having to redo it all myself. Very unprofessional with payment also. Look elsewhere.
