Used them to clean two leather jackets that were so dirty I wasn't sure they'd be able to do anything for them. Both jackets came back so wonderful that I was no longer embarrassed to wear them, even on the motorcycle. Also, there was an error on pickup and they charged me for cleaning something I had not requested. When I called, they were very apologetic and immediately made a refund. Really, really like the service and attitude of everyone I deal with! read more

Amazing cleaners. They do a wonderful job. They are timely and have worked with me on many occasions if I need something "urgently". I highly recommend them. read more

Hands down best place to get your dry cleaning done! With such a busy schedule, it is one less trip on my mind. I just leave a bag outside by my door, it gets picked up, and then delivered, neat, clean, with speed. Can't go wrong with the customer service either. They're quick to contact. Effectively, and personable. read more

Me: Hi, I'd like to have these shirts dry cleaned. They'll be done in an hour? Girl: Uh..no. That's just a name. We don't do 60 minutes. Me. Oh. Ok. Girl: They'll be done by 5. Me: Sounds good. read more

I use Carlson's pickup and delivery service which I love. Super convenient. And garments come back all clean and neatly packaged. Effortless and reasonably priced. read more

I have used Carlson Cleaners for over a year. Until 3 weeks ago they would have gotten a 5 Star. However Don has stepped away and allowed others to run it. They are running it into the ground. They Lie, They Misplace your things then LIE some more. Their service was canceled after they gave my things to the property manger and instructed them to get my things to me. Wash and Fold was pink toned from bleed off in washer. It has become the Mexican Connection down there and simply fallen off. When Don steps back in I may try again. Until then the same service can be had with better results form others in Sarasota. I had to run down my things to resolve it. Nice of Carlson to do that.. Run From Here For Now. They are "Lazy, Careless, Over Priced, Destructive, Misleading" Good luck with your new management Don!! read more

Carlson Cleaners found me and it certainly has made my life easier. Being a part of their weekly route for pick ups and deliveries has saved me countless hours. I also appreciate the care they take in handling our items. I recently took advantage of a bedding linen special and had my comforters, which are too big for the washer, cleaned. They came out looking brand new! I am a customer for life! read more

I usually don't enjoy reviewing but Carlson Cleaners are exceptional. I've never had a problem and only great, friendly service. I can call Donald Jr. last minute and he's always friendly and takes care on me with efficient delivery service with great quality. read more

I've tried several cleaners and this one is the best. They have great costumer service. I'm on their pick up/delivery route and I've never had a problem or anything going wrong. Whenever I have a doubt about something I just call/text Donald Jr. and he is very quick to respond. I always get my clothes picked up/delivered on time and they come out very nicely done. By far the best dry cleaning service I've ever had. read more

I love that they picked up my cushions on their pick up and delivery service. They turned out great ! Was very pleased.

Dropped off area rug, took 9 days. Pick it up and it's wet. Has been sitting in a garbage can outside the store and it rained. All curtains on a rack in the rain, unwrapped its soaked clear through. Offered me nothing, asked for a discount and got 10 percent off. So I have a clean soaking wet rug that will take days to dry. Never again. read more

Carlson Cleaners used to offer good pick-up and delivery service and I was willing to pay their very high prices for that service. Recently, though, I've had such poor service from Carlson Cleaners that I cannot recommend them. And with their very high prices it's just not worth it anymore. Recently, my dry cleaning was not delivered as promised and it took the owner, Donald, several days to locate it. He told me I'd have to wait from a Friday and over a weekend (rather than trying to locate the garments as quickly as possible) before he could follow up. And when the garments were finally located and delivered, I was overcharged. I'll happily take my business elsewhere and suggest that others do the same. read more

Dropped off two bags of laundry for fluff & fold... they charged $75!!! Not to mention they mixed the orders somehow.

Carlson Cleaners is the ultimate dry cleaning service. What makes Carlson Cleaners stand out above the rest is the DELIVERY and PICKUP feature. I am usually on call for work making my schedule nearly unpredictable. Being a client with Carlson Cleaners requires me to simply leave my blue bag outside of my home and That. Is. It. One of their trustworthy drivers will pick up the bag, drop it off to their dry-cleaning store, and then DELIVER the bag with no hassle whatsoever. I find it extremely forward-thinking for a company like Carlson Cleaners to not only understand, but respect that as clients we have our own schedule and lives. The pick up and delivery service stays true to putting the customer first and for that reason I will continue my patronage!! Be sure to say hi to Donald, he is one of the drivers and not only did he provide SAME DAY service for me when I was in a pinch, but he always has the biggest and brightest smile!! read more

I would NOT recommend taking curtains to Carlson Cleaners for pressing. Mine came back two inches shorter, with random hard creases throughout. The owner wouldn't do anything for me. Not only am I out $52, but I had to let the hem out of my new curtains!! read more

The drop off and pick up service is absolutely wonderful, makes it so much easier than having to figure out a time that's convenient to swing by the shop. They are very proactive at communicating and have done everything they promised. All this for no extra charge, it's a no brainer. read more

First off I'd like to personally thank Don Carlson for always under promising and way over delivering! I am a clothes horse and own many high end pieces of clothing; therefore I've chosen and will ONLY use Carlson cleaners! They have been and will remain my cleaner of choice. Carlson Cleaners has the best quality! I've tried other cleaners you just can't match it. Also the family there are friendly and extremely helpful. They got me on their free pick up and delivery and it just makes it too easy!!! read more

I've tried many cleaners in town and Carlson Cleaners is the best in Sarasota. The staff is friendly and my clothes always come back in perfect condition. I started using them after a bad experience at another cleaners and will never look back. My order always comes back on time, sometimes earlier than expected, and everything is always pressed to perfection. And the emails I they send out when my order is ready are extremely convenient. Thank you! read more

Dropped of a Silk blanket that all it needed was dry cleaning. I came to pick it up and it was ruined. It was no longer its soft material. It had a 1 inch tear that was not there before. After telling the cashier that this was not right a women came up and took fault for putting it in the wash, but continually kept stating that the tear was there and that she wouldn't lie. She also stated that she put it in the machine because it had stains on it(which it did not, that is not why I brought it there). Then another owner came out and asked me the same questions over and over again(obviously he did not hear me or believe me the first time when I told him it did not have a tear in it when I dropped it off and did not have stains). At the end I had to pay full price for my other items and left very unhappy. This was my first time at Carlson Cleaners and I am very disappointed. They told me to find out how much the blanket cost, so that they could do something for me. I hope it works out. All I wanted is for my Silk blanket to be dry cleaned. read more

I took 4 shirts in to Carlton Cleaners, 3 dry clean shirts and 1 cotton shirt to be laundered. The dry cleaning was fine but the bill was totally OVERPRICED!!!! $18.84. REALLY???? $5 for each dry clean shirt and $2.79 for the laundered shirt. With all the dry cleaners in Sarasota, why go to Carlton Cleaners and pay these steep prices. read more

The one item I dropped off for dry cleaning came back dirty. They told me that was the best they could do. Will never use again. I went home and "finished "cleaning the jacket myself with a little water, which worked fine. I also felt they were very overpriced. Will use a different company next time. Very disappointed with the quality of cleaning. read more

Excellent customer service! The owner, Donald is wonderful and he has instilled great service in those that work with him. Highly recommend
