I just moved to Sarasota a few months ago. I've used them several times now. I thought the prices and turnaround times were good. A few weeks ago, I dropped off a $128 Brooks Brothers shirt to have cleaned. I noticed when I got home that when the receipt was stapled to the plastic cover, the two staples were stapled into the shoulder of the shirt. It took over two weeks to catch the owner in the store and 4 separate visits. When I would not take a $40 credit, and wanted the value of the almost new shirt, which was $128, they gave me $120 and told me they didn't want my business anymore. I never raised my voice or acted upset in any way. The owner was very arrogant and told me that the 4 holes in the shoulder were not noticeable and other customers would accept a $40 credit. Based on how he treated a customer that tried to be understanding with no confrontation, I would highly Not recommend this place. If you use them, pray nothing happens where they have to graciously take responsibility, because you won't get that. read more

I use dry cleaners to clean and press my dress shirts. When I picked them up to wear to my business meetings I discovered the collars were pressed as if they were casual beach wear and not as a dress shirt to be worn with a tie. You can't beat the prices at Discount Cleaners. We turned in 7 items for dry cleaning and they only charged $25. This included one of my suits. They didn't get the stain out of one shirt but that could be because the silk shirt absorbed the stain to long. Because of the good prices, I highly recommend this place! FYI - we turned our clothing Friday afternoon and received them back on Monday. They also have a same day option, just call and ask. read more

I dropped off my daughters dress from Thanksgiving dinner with a stain on the front. I picked it up, checked and stain still there. They said they would try again. I went back to pick it up again and dropped off pants to be hemmed. Stain miraculously was gone which I have a feeling it wasn't attempted in the first place but I could be wrong. It wasn't until I picked up my pants, paid for them, got them home and the pin was still in the hem and nothing done. Now I do believe the stain never attempted. Brought them back and she took about 3 minutes sifting through receipts to verify I had paid for the hem and not a dry cleaning which I didn't want because the pants were brand new. She said it would be another week. I told her I needed them that week. Came back 4 days later and they couldn't find them. No apology about them not doing the work and still charging me and acted like they did me a favor in rushing the order. What a joke. Will definitely never come back. read more

I have been going there for three years, but lately it seems there is a new crew working there and the quality and customer service has gone right down the tubes. One month ago they lost one shirt which I notified them about the day after picking up the drycleaning with the necessary details (ticket #, description of sweater), the gentleman who answered the phone took my number and said he would call back, but did not. I called twice, again they stated they would call me back (they did not) the final call resulted in the woman asking me to hold and then placed the phone down, I was then witness to a 8 minute conversation with a customer who was upset they lost his shirts for a second time hmmmm, I see a trend. I ended up hanging up and going to the store. They did finally find the shirt while I stood there refusing to budge until they looked for it. They stated they didn't know the shirt was lost and I was I sure I had called them! I gave them one last shot which resulted in a white shirt being returned with dark grey stains all over it wtih a note stating they couldn't get the stains out. What I wanted to know was how did the stains get there, they were not there when I dropped the shirt off, they just looked at me. So I am moving on, their prices are low, but so is the service and quality. Shame, they WEREdecent dry cleaners. read more
