We arrived with a full truck load of laundry after Hurricane Helene destroyed our house and we were trying to save as much of our clothes as we could. Ray's machines were all in great working order with plenty for us to use without limiting other customer. There was enough counter space for us to start folding afterwards and a vending machine for us to get snacks from while we waited. Ray was also there and spoke to us, he was extremely kind and understanding of our situation. Our washer broke down so we used a "wash & fold" for the first time. We tried one on Rangeland Pkwy in Bradenton. We had to wait 3 days for our laundry and some was still damp (but folded in with the rest). We then tried Ray's Coin Laundromat and we are delighted with the service they provide. Our laundry was ready the next morning, all dry and beautifully washed. The next day we brought our sheets to them and they called later that day when they were ready. So surprised... the place isn't fancy, but the service was wonderful. I dropped off a comforter and a bunch of pillows. They weren't sure if they could get to it today, but lo and behold, 3 hours later - ready for pick up! I didn't catch his name, but he was very helpful. Because our newborn adopted baby was staying at the hospital longer than expected, we stopped by here to get our clothes laundered. The lady was very nice and prompt at getting started. We returned a few hours later and saw that she was starting to fold everything on the table, so we just waited in the car for her to finish before i went in to pick up the clothes. While sitting there i saw our cute "take home" baby outfit folded on the counter along with his burp cloth. The owner stepped away for about 5 minutes and then came back and put everything in a bag. After picking up the clothes and getting back to the hotel, we found that both the baby outfit and burp cloth missing. I know it was on the counter before she walked away. I am pretty sure someone doing laundry in the laundermat took the clothes. Its a real shame. I wish i could of seen it happen, but i was just not paying attention. Oh well. read more

My husband and I were vacationing on Anna Maria Island and needed to wash some clothes. There is not a laundromat on the island so we went to the closest place. We really didn't want to spend a few hours of our vacation doing laundry so we used the drop off service. The owner was super accommodating and did an excellent job in a short time. read more

Today was the first time in a long time that I used a laundromat. Michelle, the manager, was very helpful. She showed me which machines to use for smaller loads as opposed to larger ones and which water temp to use. She was vey nice and knowledgeable. She made the experience a pleasant one. My sister and I, while caring for our critically ill father, needed to find a place able to wash a large amount of laundry but we had only 1 day to do so. Of course, as luck would have it, this was the day of the week they did not provide their wash and fold service. We sheepishly asked if there was anyway they could provide us the service even though it was on a day when the wash and fold was closed...the attendant working volunteered to come in on her day off and do us this amazing favor, enabling us to focus our time where it was needed. It is simple acts of kindness like this in times of trial that can renew your faith in people. The clothes when returned, were not only clean and folded/on hangers, but also sorted and organized. I was a customer of this establishment for over five years and utilized the drop-off laundry accomodations in which I received excellent service from the only employee through-out these years, "Anna." Unfortuntely, in the past year and a half the new owner hired another employee to assist at the facility and since this time, I have had clothes lost, others clothes, bedding, bath items, etc. returned in my belongings. The upsetting factor is that I never had to "inventory" my laundry prior to the new employee being brought on at the laundry. It took over two months to get reimbursed for a piece of clothing which was brand new. The excuse I received when I returned and question my missing clothes was that another customer had been opening up the dryer which contained my laundry and that they were attempting to remove my clothes stating they belonged to them, while she was watching and that they must have taken my clothes out while she wasn't looking (?). To make a long story short, my last business transaction took place approximately three weeks ago when I dropped my laundry off and unfortuntely Anna was out due to health issues. I had counted my jeans for which I dropped off five pairs, and when I arrived home I only had three. When I called the laundry and asked the employee to check to see if they were hanging in the back and possibly overlooked when I picked up my clothes, I was told that I had already scammed her for a pair of jeans and that I only dropped off what I got back and she wasn't looking for anything, in addition to being extremely rude and obnoxious on the phone. Needless to say, the weekly business I have given this establishment for going on six years has ceased and I would not recommend the drop-off laundry to anyone who would like the return of their clothing. read more
