When putting in the heater core there were 2 issues. The first one we noticed was that they mixed up wires so, driving home all the lights came on and it kept stalling. Took it back and they fixed their mistake. (paid a lot for this btw). Then came heavy rain and there was an inch of water front to back and it started smelling very musty and moldy like a flood car. After much back and forth, they finally realized their mistake in that they had left the heater core rubber boot seal on the fire wall pushed out and rain was pouring in. Their solution was to jury rig it with caulk instead of doing it correctly with a new boot. Meanwhile we had to pull out all of the carpet and it still stinks. But it gets worse. Here we are 6 months later and started having odd electrical issues and then, out of the blue it will not start. We had it towed to a reputable shop and they recommended we try the dealer. Took it to Toyota and they pretty much pronounced it dead due to water damage to the computer and possibly the wire harness...unless I want to pay up to $8000 to fix my 2010 vehicle! Coastal was well aware of the water leak as they had caused it and then incompetently put a band aid on it and now they are denying any responsibility whatsoever and, thanks to their utter incompetence, we are out of a vehicle or any trade in value. Unless your car is disposable, stay away from this place! In the process to take them to small claims. BEWARE!!!

As he selected "flat repair" a window appeared with "$20" for payment. I saw he changed the cost from $20 to $40. Blatant rip off! In the past, I've paid $15, $20 for flat reapirs. Never $40. If a flat cots $40, I can't imagine brakes or oil change. Go somewhere else for your repairs.

Multiple car shops, including Honda dealers approved my car. I got the sticker. You forced me to change tires in your shop to get a sticker. You just want to make money. Joe got into the car, it didn't start (note: ignition problem was draining the battery, dah!). He immediately said, "Oh, you need a new battery." He never bothered to check the cells. Told me to leave it, called me later, informed me that the car was ready and the bill for the new battery and installation was $ 190.00. No "paperwork" on the battery and no warranty. WTF? Business must be bad to need to rip off a good customer. Guaranteed, that was the last money he ever will get from me.

They highly recommended Thompson so we stopped in just to chat. When we explained we were basically stranded Len brought in his expertise and stated we needed a new throttle body assembly. They got the part quickly and after a few hours were able to get us on the road at a VERY affordable price. Needless to say they saved us money and time by allowing us to continue on our journey. Don't know if we'll make our way back again to this area but I can confirm they are the most professional, accurate and nicest family business we have used on the road (and we've logged 20,000 over the past ten months including a trip to Canada.)
