My fountain soda was watered down, the fries you could tell the threw it back into the oil to make it hot but it just made it taste burnt and stale, they BARELY put any veggies in the famous star (WHICH IS THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF THAT BURGER). The whole meal was a waste of my money. Highly disappointed and will never go back there. They need to send their workers to the Carl's Jr on Elkhorn and get some training on how to serve fresh meals. read more

I've been to this Carl's about three times so far and it is THE BEST! On a trip to SoCal I tried the Angus Jalapeño Burger and have found a new Favorite Fast Food Burger. So when I got back to SacTown, I headed straight to The neighborhood Carl's. Coincidentally, all three times I have had the pleasure of being helped by the same person. She is the "Shift Leader," and her name is Adamari. She is warm and genuine. Greeted me with a smile, took my order and promptly got me on my way. The Food was hot when I got home. The burger was beautiful and very tasty. The fries...great. What more can you ask for?? The interior of the restaurant is clean and orderly. The soda dispenser was clean. So often they seem to be ignored, not this one. This is a VERY GOOD Carl's Jr. I will keep coming back for more of those Angus Jalapeño Burgers. read more

We were on our way home from sports and my kid wanted Carls Jr, our first time at this location I was surprised at how nice it was inside, they must have had a recent remodel. Our food was served fast and fresh. We ordered the hand breaded chicken sandwich and of course I had to get their fried zucchini I love those. Everything was good! Today my order was made wrong, I called and talked to a manager. She expressed there would be no issues getting my order fixed when I came in later and that she would be leaving a message for the night shift When I paid in cash, I wasn't handed a receipt so I assumed itll be in the bag. Once I arrived, there was all kinds of trouble. The shift manager Rosario (I think) said she couldn't do anything for me and to call back in the morning instead of fixing the issue. I went as far as pulling my call log to show her I called and even called the store from my call log because she claimed it wasn't the same number or location. I suggested getting in touch with her manager, she said she couldn't and then alllllll of a sudden, she magically got in touch with her and replaced my meal. Horrible, rushed service. Ordered two kids meals, got two bags each with a small fries. No chicken stars in either. When I asked for the rest of the order, I was first met with embarrassment, then rude attitude when given the bags. No apologies, just ok here. The part that baffles me is why the huge rush? Daughter ordered a burger without onions, got onions. My burger had a stale bun, and the onion rings were hard. She got medium fries, I got large, and her box had more fries. Plus they were cold. WTH?? My soda had too much carbonated water and not enough syrup. I'm used to one thing or so in a fast food meal being off a bit, but the only thing that tasted right was the prepackaged mustard. This place is not too far from my office. This place seems pretty clean and organized. The temperature inside is a bit cold for my liking. I find nothing particularly exceptional about this place. The food is about what you would expect for a fast food restaurant. Occasionally there are homeless people hanging around begging for food or money. That's quite annoying when you're trying to have lunch. I stopped in here from time to time or for the convenience of it being close to my office and anything else. read more

Walked in to get some food but needed to use the restroom first. I asked for the bathroom code because it was locked and I'm told I have to buy something first. Why would I buy something and take it into the bathroom? What can't I wash my hands before I eat? You need I train your people not only about customer service but also about basic hygiene. I will never be back to this Carl's Jr. Just called to speak to a manager and the girl that answered the phone said she was in charge. I told her what happened and asked for a corporate office number which she refused. I asked for her managers name, also refused. I asked for her name and she hung up on me. So I drove back over there and sat in the drive thru being ignored for more than 3 minutes. And then I parked and went inside and was screamed at by the "supervisor" and she claimed she called the police on me. For what? Asking for a number. Wanting to wash my hands before I ate. They charge you nearly full price to upgrade from a fry to a crisscut fry or from a drink to a milkshake unlike 100% of other fast food places I've been too. They didn't want to refund me anything or work anything out with me. read more

ABOVE AVERAGE BUT NOT GREAT I've eaten here numerous times. You know how every now and then you get a weird tasting burger or fries or whatever? I get that here once in a while. The chicken seems to be a little inconsistent, and some stuff can be greasy at times. It's hard to write a lot of food tips for Carl's Jr., but as far as fast food goes, this store seems to be doing it right most of the time. read more

The new Rib Burger is only 2 Stars it's a western bacon with a couple of little chunks of pork laid on top of it and that's it. Plus I had to call after we got our order and got back with it because it was missing the onion strings so it wasn't even like a western bacon very disappointed. read more

I've got to say. I am pleasantly surprised with this location! I took a leap of faith because I really wanted to try the Beyond Meat Burger. I was so surprised when my meal came. The fries were so fresh and piping hot, the soda was bubbly cold and refreshing and the burger was "Beyond" delicious, pun intended. I thought based on the reviews here even though they are about 4 years old and older, that this place would disappoint, but I was blown away when I decided to come to this location again and had the same great service and hot fresh food. I don't live far and I love their turkey burgers, usually they make them and they're decent. But if you order chilli fries just know u get more fries then chilli, and I don't know if they started toasting the bread but it seemed like it was old bread. Not moldy but it was falling apart. Anyway, they work hard , I know they are always busy but I'm not sure if I'll eat there again. I've never had a problem with they're customer service everyone is super nice there. read more

I just wanted to give the ladies here at the Carl's on Watt a big fat thumbs up I came in and I thought breakfast was over at 11 it's Wednesday and of course silly me breakfast was over at 10:30 and it's almost 1040 so I was going to leave but I decided to just ask if maybe the cook had not yet put stuff away yet I could get myself at loaded breakfast burrito which I love from this Carl's the very polite friendly girl at the counter said you know what let me go ask for you hold on a second she comes back and she says OK the cook's gonna go ahead and make you one and it really kind of blew my mind they didn't have to do that for me and I might have not even been the nicest person when I asked but they were so polite and I did notice that everything looked really clean the counter was nice and clean and they're always nice to let you know that when you pay by card credit is free debit charges $1 thank you so much girls 5 stars read more

The food is always fresh. The staff is always friendly. This is the best Carl's jr location I have been in Sacramento.

I ordered eight big burgers with cheese, large fry, fried zuccine. I waited for about 15 minutes then drove back threw the drive threw and asked for a soda while I waited. Then they gave me my food. I got home and everything was cold, there was no cheese on any of the burgers. So I called and asked to speak to the manager. They were very rude. They said that they repeated the order back to me. I told them I wanted to speak to the manager again. Then she said apparently there was not a manager there. So I said okay I would call back tomorrow when there was a manager there. SO I called back the next day and again was told there was no manager there. And would not be there until tomorrow. read more

I tend to hate this specific Carl's. The window people are polite but without fail they mess up my breakfast order. Ordered a bacon egg burrito and got a steak burrito. Going here for lunch was great until today. I walked in and placed my to go order received my # to be called (#40). The Manager called my #40.Now waiting for my lemonade they call #40 again. I advised i have my order. The gentleman behind is waiting for his order that was taken by the manager so they go back and forth about the order he gets his money back. Now I'm checking my order to make sure that it's correct.
