People are nice, but I had to ask for a table to be cleaned for us to sit. My kid had a hamburger combo which he received for free. The lettuce wrap burger is a bit messier than others because not enough lettuce was provided (they only provided one small piece for the top "bun". Otherwise, as a fast food joint, it did not stand out in any way at all.

Loaded burrito with under cooked onions

Breakfast here gets a fail. After going into the restaurant, the decor and design looked modern and comfortable booth seating that has some padding and not hard. Not a lot of seating but not busy during the time we were there. I asked what was in the loaded breakfast burrito and was told eggs, variety of breakfast meats, and cheese. For $5, it sounded good and filling so let's try it. I asked about tea but they don't have any. We were given an order number to place on the table and the food would be brought out which I thought was a nice touch. So we went to the half booth, half chair seating and the booth had lots of crumbs. Ok, so it looked neat but it's not. I swiped the crumbs on the floor which was dirty too. There were 2 TVs on SportsNet. The food came out in a few minutes and it was a disappointment. I opened the burrito and it was a mish mash of the items I was told but it also had lots of onions and they weren't cooked so strong taste. Every bite tasted like onions and being loaded didn't mean that it was large, it was an average size. Definitely will skip this place for breakfast. Maybe that's why there were only a few tables occupied during our visit? Only positives were service was friendly and clean washroom.

Don't know why this place has such a low rating. My Husband and I have been here like 9 times or so since it's opened. And it's always good. I can't live without the SanteFe chicken burger. And the thick burgers and promo burgers are always good. Hot, fresh, and spicy. Unlike the weak spicy promo burgers A&W and MCDs always have. Also the beef is not scary. You all know what I mean. Not gonna lie- I always get 2 burgers when I come here. And I'm okay with that. Thank goodness we don't live closer. Only bad things I can say is the breakfast is mediocre. Fries are boring. Milkshakes aren't great. But if you want a great burger- I think they are worth every penny. Staff are always friendly, smiling and cleaning. Love it.

When you think of Carl's Jr: You think "Ok, let's Youtube this". Their videos were "bold, sexy, crunchy and mind-blowing - with burgers so huge that could fill you up to the brim. With such bold advertisement about their burgers, I thought to myself "I've got to try it to be converted a fan". And so, off I went on an ambitious adventure into Carl's Jr with Mitch with high hope of being welcomed by energetic mind blowing staffs. Look... Don't even think about it. They are just your regular kind of people that work at a regular fast-food restaurants. Enough said. Service was a quick delivery of your food from the kitchen to your table and a " Would u like anything else?" and usually off they went again without the usual common courtesy of "Do enjoy your burgers". The interiors are bright and sort of maintained. Really tiny on the inside with probably less than 15 tables. We got ourselves a Thick Guacamole Bacon Ch Burger, Oreo Shake, Charboiled BBQ Chicken Burger and a Poutine. The Thick GBC Burger was HUGE. Average tasting burger but it was good enough though it got really really messy after 3 bites. My messiest experience with a burger so far and I was definitely not a fan of it. The onions were sliced thickly and it just felt messy. The Oreo Shake was good but nothing really outstanding to be honest. As for Mitchell's burger, he commented that it tasted very tomato-ish than BBQ-ish. It was quite plain overall and he didn't seem to enjoy his burger that much. Poutine was average. I would actually go for Ricky's all day grill's poutine over Carl's tbh. All in all, food was good but it was nothing mind-blowing enough for us to be regulars or even go out of our way for it.

Thick burger combo

I love burgers, and will always stop to try a new one. Carl's Jr. has a solid burger. I walked up and asked them "What's your biggest burger?" And it's the Angus thick burger combo, with fries and a drink it was roughly $12. One interesting they asked me when I wanted the combo if I wanted large or medium. Duhr? I guess that's their way of asking if you want to supersize it. After ordering you can head to your table with a number , dairy queen style and they'll bring you your order. I got my burger combo under 5 minutes and it was a tasty burger, and the toppings were all really fresh tasting. Fries nice and hot, and the mammoth drink could give diabetes to a trunk full of circus clowns. Seriously share the drink if you're getting a large. The burger itself wasn't the biggest burger/fries I've ever had 5 Guys is bigger. What was the chain like overall? If Wendy's and Dairy Queen had a lesbian relationship and raised a child it would be Carl's Jr. Worth eating here, but not worth driving out of your to come here. A solid 3 star : A-ok

Yo U hit the nail on the head when he called the food here 'uninspired'. I would also call it cheapskate, because the bun was terrible, no substance, and toppings were cheap iceberg lettuce thrown in with a slice of flavourless tomato. Check out the pathetic state of it in my picture! And not a cheap price! The fish sandwich was not disgusting to eat but the presentation is woeful and the taste flat. I would expect this from a lousy old joint like inner city Burger Baron, or if 7-11 served burgers they would be this quality, but not from a flagship store trying to establish some brand loyalty in a very competitive field. My bf liked his burger, but again, average to below average for fast food. Worth a miss. I promised I'd try it once, and that will be it for me for life!

Shiney. New. And rediculously busy. Noonon a Friday couldn't help... Nice looking. As it should be. Almost as many staff squeezed behind counter & in kitchen as patrons! I decide to "cover aly bases", and get a sampling if theur wares. A "Big Carl"...which indeed consists of... Wait for it... Two all beef patties...special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions... And a sesame seed bun. Huh Came oit a little flattened in their "to go" wrap. For a $7 burger...it was allright. Also had a Chicken Club. Also a $7 sandwich. Pretty good actually. One of the better fast food chicken sabdwiches I have had. Onion rings had to be tried. Standard. Similar to A&W in size and salt level. All in all... Not too shabby. I will likely be here more than I was atthe Arby's it replaced. But I've tried enough that I won't be hurrying back.

Pyro used to be my go to burger place. If I would have tried Fox before, it would have been my #1…read more Best burger I have ever had! Thin crispy patties and a nice fresh bun. Great service, great food, a tad pricey but you get what you paid for.

We adventured to this burger spot because we heard they were offering free kids meals for the month…read moreof October, the caveat was that you had to purchase a regular meal for each kids meal. But we have 2 kids and 2 adults so it worked out for us! The kids menu items are a hot dog, a cheeseburger or Mac and cheese. All the portions for the kids looked really big which I appreciated. My boys are eaters and it was nice to see that they got just as many French fries on their plate as an adult portion. And PS the garlic fries are amazing!!! I'm so happy we got 3 orders of the garlic fries and I was curious and tried the animal fries as well- they were different...tasty but definitely a unique taste. The closest I can describe it is cheese wiz and mustard and caramelized onions. Very potent, I saw they have an Animal burger which probably uses that same mixture combo. Animal fries cost an extra $4 so for the extra cost I would probably just go with the garlic fries every time because they don't have an extra cost. I ordered the most popular Bacon Pepper Smash ($21 single $25 double) and really enjoyed the flavor and the price was on point. Smash sauce, pickled peppers, bacon, American cheddar, iceberg. The single was definitely enough for myself but with the thinner patties I could see why some people order the double. Hubby had the Inferno ($21 single $25 double) Inferno sauce, pickled peppers, crispy fried onions, American Swiss, iceberg. The sauce was spicy! Good but spicy! And it kind of overpowered the whole thing. Parking down the side street was a bit of a walk but not terrible and right beside this place is a cool looking liquor store and Kind Ice Cream across the road. The space itself was pretty big and we felt like we weren't too smushed up on booth next to the next table. Bathrooms are downstairs, mind your head! And there was a baby change table in the women's bathroom.
