We got the root beer and cream soda to drink. They don't deserve alcohol The rolls are homemade and the raspberry butter is incredible. I almost asked to get some to-go LOL I got the halibut after many people recommended it. I loved it! My husband got the New York steak and felt underwhelmed by it because the signs behind the business say "world's best beef" so he's thinking it will live up to that. He's tasted some really of steak in California and was expecting this place would have better but they didn't. The house salad with ranch was delicious as well. This place always has a homey feel with all the interior wood. They decorate based on the holidays too. I wish I would have snagged the treats in the way out because those looked tasty!

They start you off with a basket of corn bread and rolls served with regular butter and raspberry butter (dessert itself!). Then soup or salad. Next the entree, which mine came with a Turkey Steak (good), Chicken Fried Steak (not so good), and a fried chicken breast (great). Sides were a super fresh tasting ear of corn and mashed potatoes & gravy. Service was friendly and fast. *I ordered a slice of Chocolate Cream Pie to-go - fresh, homemade, and unbelievably superb! The pie was the star of the show - well done Maddox!

But that's another story... This is a cute drive in that also has tables and counter service inside- so you can enjoy your dining experience in a variety of ways. My partner and I visited and had lunch at the counter-a massive hot dog and a cheeseburger between the two of us. Respectable food. I didn't much care for the fries, I felt like they lacked any real flavor (should have ordered fry sauce, I think that would have helped.) The shake and ice cream were good-definitely the star of the show. Service was ok-I don't think any of the staff was over the age of twenty and there was always a group gathered in the kitchen area chatting. Of course, they are kids, so that's bound to happen. They could be doing much worse.

Heck even one time we called ahead for shakes. Showed up later AND we still had to wait. Their food is mediocre. I really don't understand why we see so many people there all the time. I drove all the way down to Cals and got the food probably 5 times faster.

Not my first time ordering here and we NEVER receive napkins. Onion rings today were burnt and I ordered two, they had different amounts in each one. And you can get fries or pay for cheese curds for extra or onion rings for extra. Amazing food. Go there often and get DoorDash often

They were not too busy and we were seated quickly. We sat in a booth near the window. The menu had a variety of choices, but breakfast was my focus. I ordered the 6 oz top sirloin steak and over easy eggs. This came with hash browns and choice of bread. I picked the English muffin with jam. My steak was cooked perfectly and had good seasoned flavor. The eggs were also perfect, and not overcooked with hard yolks. The hash browns were a nice compliment to the meal. The English muffin was a bit chewy, and would have been better if it was crispier. My eating companions liked their meals also, which were the Turkey Bacon Tomato Sandwich and the Clubhouse Sandwich. They also ordered the Hot Fudge Cake to close out the meal. This was huge and all three of us shared it. I will definitely come back again to try a few of their lunch and dinner options.

I came in a week prior to my review, the experience was unlike any I've had in Utah so i wanted too…read morecome a second time and have a different server to make sure it wasn't a fluke. Let me start with the servers the first time in i was greeted promptly with a smile by Laken, my server. The atmosphere was cozy with defined areas. Everything was clean and and cared for right down to the bathrooms. i could tell ownership has a quirky sense of humor based on the merchandise they sell. As i waited for the meal i watched the two servers working diligently with a smile, they didn't miss a beat with being attentive to their patrons and all of the other aspects of their job. Honestly i watched too see if they could keep the same place throughout my time there they worked like a fine oiled machine. Without having to say a word to each other they knew what to do to help each other. I can't imagine this being an easy task.. The second time coming in, i really wanted to see if the excellence was a fluke, but to my delight it was the same great experience as the first time. Serenity, My server worked with the same diligence as the first time i watched her working and again without missing a beat of the friendly service as i had with Laken, the first time in. Now here's the kicker the service was so good, i asked to speak with a manager or owner, I was told there wasn't a manager or owner present. They were self monitoring, that blew me away, these young ladies working like they were on their own, it screams volumes for their work ethics and management. Now for the food, presentation was just like the menu pics. I apologize i failed to take pics as it was served so it is pics from the menu. The was good, the breakfast i had was cooked, in my opinion, perfectly. There breakfast sausage was different than any other I've had. I've been to a lot of places. I highly recommend this place even the locals were really friendly with conversation they made me laugh, one of the locals went out to his truck and brought this spoon guy to me. I live over an hour away but i will say well worth the drive mainly for the experience. Now if i have to say anything that i would like to see different it would be the fly traps. They aren't intrusive but i would maybe use an alternative. But I'm not a fly expert and it's not a deal breaker. This is my honest review, i don't know and have never met anyone from this establishment have never met any of the
