After punching in an order on one of their kiosks, I waited 25+ minutes for a coffee and some hash rounds. WTF. This is NOT fast food. When I saw the people who ordered after me get their order, I just took the $5 hit and walked out with nothing. They're just a parasite on the Love's they inhabit. Don't order here. read more

Food - nasty-just nasty - hamburgers, only ate half Very disappointed in the service and how the place was not kept clean read more

Every few months, I make a purchase at a Carl's Jr just to remind myself that I'm a stupid, stupid man and I should never eat at Carl's Jr. There is nothing particularly wrong with location that can't be said about nearly every other Carl's Jr location in the country. The food at Carl's Jr is boring and not made well. It does not stand out in any way over nearly any of their competitors. It's C-tier stuff. It's Meh at its most meh-ness. I would honestly rather have Arby's or even Long John Silver's over this unremarkable purveyor of sadness burgers. The service not was bad. The staff were fine except for one lady whom I mildly irritated for asking for a pack of ranch dressing in which to dip my tepid and flavor-free French fries in a fruitless effort to taste something. Maybe my mistake was to delete the lettuce from my Big Cheeseburger. At least some dirt in a piece of poorly washed lettuce would have tasted like...anything. Bah! Why do I do this to myself??? Carl's Jr is proof that most Americans will settle for warm garbage fast food and have no clue what fresh food tastes like. Ugh. read more

Absolutely horrible, staff are so incredibly rude & the food was horrible. Not to mention I only ordered a small fry and a sprite. Pulled me outside where I waited for over 30 minutes, just to get a warm drink & cold soggy fries. This place needs shut down! read more

Stop lying to your customers. The burgers look nothing in person as portrayed on the menu images. You had one job with three ingredients and you fucked it up! Worst shoe leather cheeseburger on the planet. Hard, cold and tasteless. To should be ashamed. Wish we had a no star or better yet a " stay away " option. read more

Absolutely the best fast food sandwich I have ever had. Large, crispy, green leaves of lettuce; nice red slice of tomato! Well done team! Thank you! read more

Cold food. Been driving all day & just having my 1st meal. I told the girl named "Dawn" to make it fresh & well 10 mins later down the road turns out everything was cold. The fries looked old & soggy. read more

I had the 3 pc. Chicken Tenders. They were soggy and in pieces. Not crispy at all. The third piece had most of the crust gone. Hubby ordered the Single Teriyaki. He said he couldn't detect any teriyaki flavor at all. But then we overheard someone complaining about only getting half a piece of pineapple on their sandwich, and then he realized he just had a regular hamburger. read more

Stopped mainly because of convenience (fuel, range of food options, clean restroom) all in one place. Carl's Jr. gets a solid 3 stars for us. Poppers and fries were all fried adequately, though fries weren't adequately salted, and we got an extra popper in our order! The fried zucchini get 1 star. They were mostly fried, though definitely not done, and mildly warm inside. Staff made it audibly clear that they didn't want to fry the poppers or zucchini ("ugh, really?"). We'll stop again because of convenience, and probably order similar things, with an "extra crispy" request, please and thank you. We'll stop again because of the reasons mentioned above, and will probably order similar things--just with and "extra crispy" request, please and thank you. read more

Good food and friendly workers. Nice that they have a drive thru, not many in Boardman.

I stopped here as a regular in Loves truck stop. Granted it was about 3 am, but the Carls was making food. The 2 blondes seemed more interested in gossip than service, but I got a sandwhich anyway. It took a bit longer for my stop as I'm on a time schedule to get to Portland. When I opened the bag after I got on the hwy i discovered the sandwhich was never hot enough to melt the cheese. I didn't have time to go back, so the food went out the window to feed the scavengers on the side of the road. Disappointing to say the least. read more

Yesterday, on 4/17/2020, we were heading east on I84. We were getting hungry, so we went through the drive thru at the Carl's Jr at the Loves truck stop on Tower Road, exit 159, near Boardman, Oregon. There were three cars in front of us. It took the guy in front of us about 10 minutes to place his order. I could hear him say several times, "No that is not what I ordered". I could tell he was getting irritated. Well, when we got to the menu board, i could see why he was. Instead of being greeted with a "hi, welcome to Carl's Jr, how can I help you". We got, "what do you want". I said, "hi, we would like a #2 with no onion, no lettuce, large with a coke zero, and also a bacon cheeseburger with a small fry, no drink". She repeated it back too me. "#2 with extra onions, extra lettuce and cherry coke, bacon cheeseburger, large fry and large drink, what kind of drink". I said "no, that is not right", I repeated our order again. This went on 3 or 4 more times. Then another lady got on the mic. Asked me what I want. I told her too. After telling her, she messed it up too. At that point I pulled out of line and left. (Thank Goodness there was a way to get out of line.) So, if your planning on going to Carl's Jr. At the Loves truck stop on Tower Road exit 159, I hope you have a better experience than we did. read more

We walked in and no hello. I had to ask if they were open. He was cleaning, I get that. I ordered 3 piece strip and got two very over cooked and nasty tasting chicken. Paid full price. Will be talking to manger in morning. He could have given me my full 3 pieces. Well see how breakfast goes. read more

The standards for food preparation at this location are seriously making us consider contacting the department of health due to our cheeseburger being served cold from being out too long and the fries where limp and luke warm too. If we were not in a hurry and traveling to help take care of a loved one we would have driven back to speak with the manager. Food safety and quality standard issues have to be addressed at this location before someone gets sick. read more

This is one of the very few locations that truck drivers are able to get any kind of food along this highway; they are consistently out of any kind of sauce, it takes about 20 minutes plus to get your food, and the orders are consistently wrong. The only reason this location is still open is because drivers are forced to eat here. read more

I just visited this location and I asked for two hamburgers only ketchup and one double cheeseburger only ketchup, They decided to give me three cheeseburgers only ketchup and my fries tasted like Ants and all the cheeseburger buns were stale. It's a real bummer when you order food when you're traveling and get on the highway and realize how bad the order is. read more
