Call it unfortunate, but I had to meet Mike, the office manager one early Friday morning just as…read morethey opened. My car had started to leak coolant, and I was concerned as I was visiting family away from home. I got there before they opened, and Mike came out and picked up the mail from their mailbox where I introduced myself as being away from home - and a long way to go with a leaking car. "I can't guarantee anything, since the parts may take me three days to have sent in, and I can't put you before my other 8am approintments. But if you can wait, and they don't show up, I'll move you in and have it looked at. No promises... but we can look at it... maybe." "Maybe" was me driving away at 10:30 in the same morning, after a postponed 8am arrival, two cups of coffee, and a quick diagnosis with a new water pump installed with a replacement belt. So Mike did get a cancellation, slipped me in, told and showed me that I needed a new belt (the old one was glazed, shreaded, and ready to fall apart), and had them delivered into the shop in short order. They even went as far as to check their work by running the car for a bit to make sure the thermostat opened up, and everything was good and tight. They even replaced the coolant, and washed off the spillage that had dripped on the engine and frame. I left Mike with a good contribution to their "Donut Fund." If they read this, please have a jelly one on me guys. Because Mike and you all are a great team. I could tell by the way you treated each customer while I waited in their waiting room. (Which had toys for the kids, lots of memorabilia, and good strong coffee for when the news isn't the best and you have to wait longer than I did. Bottom Line: They earned their Golden Reader's "Best of the Valley" Award for 2014 from the Times. Their gshop is busy, they do inspections, and I was very pleased to have met Mike, the shop owner.

I called Hi-Tech Auto when they opened, they responded very speedily. I also had no other car to meet them at the abandoned car location but they quickly offered to come to me and get the key to the abandoned car. I informed them the location and they went to retrieve it...unfortunately it was no longer at the place it had died. Hi-Tech Auto made a few phone calls and tracked the car's location to an impound. They patiently worked with me, I had to pick up cash at the bank for the impound. Hi-Tech Auto took care of the headache of retrieving the impounded car for me and brought it back to the destination I specified. Very PRO, very communicative throughout the entire process, super honest, generous with their time, all at a very reasonable price considering how much time they took to get this job resolved for me. Terry, Randy, and Joe were wonderful. Since I had a new car and this was my first oil change I didn't even know what grade of oil the car took. Randy was sure to tell me right away and made sure all of my other fluids were good. He checked my tires and made sure I had the air pressure I desired, which was my deal maker! (as a side note, the tire recommendation was 35psi as a minimum which most places only do the minimum. I asked for 40 so that my ride was more firm and he obliged with a smile) I love their personalities and the fact that they are local guys serving the community.
