It finally opened after using two hands with more force than normal to open it up. I purchased it thinking that the hatch would open as long as I used two hands. After I left, the hatch opened the few times I tried, but then stopped opening all-together. I called within 5 days of purchasing the SUV and asked if they would be willing to fix the problem "at cost", since there was a problem that everyone witnessed while I was there with the hatch. I was willing to pay them to fix it at their cost. I thought this was reasonable. The answer was "no." Would have been a super-happy customer if it wasn't for this. I was willing to pay for some of the repair, and felt that since this was a "known issue" when I drove it off the lot they should have met me "1/2 way" on it. Would not recommend buying from them.

Saw a car listed on their website and called to confirm it was still available. Told "Yep we still got it." I asked how late they were open and told 6:30 but the car will be gone around 4:30 since the boss is driving it. Ok, kinda strange. I said I'll come in a little after lunch time to take a look at the car. Showed up at the dealer at the time we agreed on only to find the car I wanted not on the lot - when I asked where it was I was told "the boss took it." Clearly not happy that I had driven 30 minutes round trip to see this car, I said "kinda hard to sell a car when it's not on the lot" All I got back was "Yep." No I'm sorry to inconvenience you....or can I take your contact info and let you know when the car is back so you can come see it...or heaven forbid sorry we wasted so much of your time how about we bring the car to you to look at when we get it back.... Well as I said there's a reason used car dealers and the sales people that work there get a certain reputation...and these guys earned every bit of it in my book...never gonna do business with these guys...not that it's that much of a big deal, running their business like this means they won't be around for long in any case. They are terrible at explaining the warranty and financial information, they rush you through your process, even though I was there all day waiting for them to finish. I spent more time waiting in a seat than I did talking to my salesperson. They pressure you into a warranty and snuck additional costs into my final price. When I brought it up, they told me I don't have to buy the car. They do all the stereotypical slimy dealership practices. They didn't even give me all of my warranty paperwork... I had to call another Auffenberg dealership to have it emailed to me. My salesperson quit responding after I asked him to send me my warranty information several times. Not only that, they promise you that the extended warranty takes care of "everything" on the car and when you read the fine print, that is a complete lie. I felt misled and scammed when it came to financing and purchasing the warranty. I don't regret the car (because it's not a Ford), but I do regret doing business with this shady dealership. Do yourself a favor: avoid this dump and the terrible customer service they provide.

I call the Fiat of Metro East sales manager who says the reason my car was taking longer than expected is the factory was waiting on a part that recently arrived, and my car is still in Mexico, but it just got painted and will be shipped soon. I was lied to. I appreciate Fiat of Metro East giving me a free loaner car. I also like that my sales person, Ken, was not the high-pressure type asking leading tricky questions like, "want to buy the yellow or blue?"

It took three different appointments to figure that out our problem. Next we had a fluid leak It took three appointments to locate and fix the problem. On the second appointment, they changed out the radiator, which probably wasn't bad. Then I had an electrical problem with my truck took it in twice. They couldn't figure it out so I went somewhere else. Recently we took our car in for an oil leak. It took them two days to figure out what was leaking...some oil valve. They changed it, we drive it home and the low oil pressure light cane on, We were down 2 quarts of oil; one would think that if you're doing something about an oil leak , you would check the oil before you give it back to the customer.

Was told as i was taking the exit off the highway that someone purchased the vehicle. there was no warning that others were there looking at the vehicle or anything. The last text message i received was 15 minutes prior to being told someone bought the car. Obviously things like this happen and they can't say no to someone buying a car, but being in contact MULTIPLE days about a car then being told 15 minutes before i was going to buy it that it was sold was hurtful to say the least.
