Just really upsetting to make an appointment, stress yourself out to make sure you get you and your baby ready quick enough not to be late for your appointment and then be treated like a walk in. Few things sink your stomach faster than that, especially when you're hours from home. We called every major auto repair shop we could find. Not one would even look at it, let alone touch it. Nobody had a qualified technician available, and we were running out of options and, honestly, hope. After three attempts to reach Dynamic, the owner called us back personally. Not a receptionist, not a voicemail: the owner. She told us he could meet us in 10 minutes, and he did. The technician met us on site. He didn't just show up. He looked things over, gave us honest guidance, and sent us off with a jug of coolant and the confidence to keep going. No runaround, no pressure, just genuine help from someone who clearly cares about people. In a moment when everyone else said "can't," he said "let's go." The manager was extremely rude, interrupting and yelling at my fiancé while he was mid-sentence. What shocked us even more was when the manager laughed at him and blatantly ignored everything my fiancé said after explaining that people plan their day around estimated service times and that this delay caused him to miss most of his nephew's first birthday. He told him to call corporate to "complain" because they are owned by corporate. We weren't even complaining, just providing feedback from our experience, as we have done for both good and bad experiences. Most managers appreciate hearing both positive and negative feedback from customers, so they can improve their operations. This situation became LESS about the oil change and MORE about how the manager treated a customer. If he's treating customers this way, it makes us wonder how he treats and trains his employees. This is deeply disappointing because we know Valvoline doesn't stand for this in their business model, and we hope action is taken seriously. We've never encountered such poor treatment at any business and hope it doesn't happen to anyone else. I went back to driver later that night and my battery was dead, and car has zero coolant. The owner made it right and replaced my battery. I thought well he made things right. I'd stopped by and got a scan at auto part store. It indicated my oil pump. I brought it in and originally asked to just replace the sensor as a starting point. When they went to do this they stated the issue was the oil cooler. I said alright got the quote and got the repair. I pick my car up and the check engine light is still on and still pulling the same error code we started with. Now I'm out 850 dollars and my car is right where I started. Someone else said save yourself some time and take it somewhere else. Believe them. If you need brakes or something easy - these are your guys. You have a check engine light on? They're not.
